The lagos state government has decided to make teaching of yoruba language compulsory in all public schools in the state. Dr Idiat Oluranti Adebule on behalf of the lagos state governor, Governor Akinwunmi Ambode, said that the subject would be thought in primary schools and junior secondary school. Dr Idiat Oluranti Adebule also added that the imposition the western culture and language on Nigerian children has done a lot of damage to the rich local cultural heritage of the Yoruba people. Speaking yesterday at a stakeholders forum organized by the Lagos State House of Assembly at Academy hall, Agidingbi, Ikeja Lagos on the need to make Yoruba Language a compulsory teaching subject in all schools in the state, he added that it is important for children not only to learn the language of their environment, but also the culture and people’s general way of life. I see this as a great improvement in Nigeria as a whole, What do you think Guy?? http://www.oneinfoplus.com.ng/2016/06/03/1321/ |

Governor Wike Makes His Statement over the presidential Visit to Rivers State to lunch the clean-up of Ogoni-Land It say, My dear people of Rivers State 1.The President and Commander-in-Chief of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency, President Muhammadu Buhari, CGFR, is paying an official visit to Rivers State, tomorrow, Thursday, 2nd June 2016 to formally launch the clean up of Ogoniland and other oil impacted communities in the Niger Delta. 2. Mr. President’s visit to the State is both historic and significant. It is historic because it marks his first official visit to the Sate since assuming office as the President of this great nation. It is most significant because Mr. President is not on a political mission but to kick-start the largest environmental cleanup in our nation’s history, for which Rivers people, and indeed the Niger Delta will remain grateful. 3. Therefore, I call on Rivers people to be peaceful, law-abiding and demonstrate the traditional Rivers hospitality towards Mr. President and his distinguished entourage throughout the visit. 4. As I have noted earlier, Mr. President is here as the father of the nation who cares about the environmental and developmental challenges that we face as one of his primary constituencies. 5. Accordingly, his presence in Rivers State is not an occasion for political campaigns by anybody or political party. Rather, it is an occasion and an opportunity for us to demonstrate unity of purpose and our readiness to work together with Mr. President to move Rivers State and the nation forward. 6. Let me therefore advise desperate politicians in our midst to be mindful of the charged social and economic situation in the country and refrain from making unguarded statements over Mr. President’s visit that could inflame political rivalry and precipitate unnecessary upheavals in the State. 7. Rivers State has been peaceful and must remain so during and after Mr. President’s visit. The security agencies have accordingly been directed to arrest and prosecute any person, no matter his or her position, who attempts to exploit Mr. President’s visit for extraneous purposes that undermine the prevailing peace and security in Rivers State. 8. Furthermore, as part of measures to enhance security during Mr. President’s visit I hereby place a ban on the operations of motorcycles and tricycles in Gokana and Khana Local Government Areas between 6 a.m. and 6 pm on Thursday, 2nd June 2016. The security agencies have been directed to enforce this ban and ensure full compliance. 9. Finally, I call on Rivers people, particularly the people of Ogoniland, to come out in great numbers and give our amiable President a rousing welcome during his visit. 10. Thank you and God bless Rivers State. http://www.oneinfoplus.com.ng/2016/06/02/gov-wike/ Mynd44 Fynestboi lalasticlala |

Few Hours ago Annie Idibia Lashed at Pero (BabyMama to 2face) over not letting 2face see his kids, She actually called her a selfish woman. see what she said annieidibia1Am all about child abuse for the last few weeks… And I realize that they are so many forms of it! Even as parent we do this without even knowing!!! Let’s love our children more than the situations!!! Shout out to all the separated parent /EX who don’t stress the other parent over seeing their own kid!!! God bless you.. Your reward is bigger and it is in heaven… #sayNo2Parentalalienation #saynotochildabuseforreal #loveyourkidsmore #whatGoneIsGone #letgo #livefree God bless u real big @s/o to @sunmbo great woman Well I guess right now some of you are already feeling all sorry for her, but that’s not all. Apparently Pero’s elder sister has given her a Sounding reply and it seems there is more to it than we can see, lets see what she said [b] enibabyplus6 How dare you Annie! Enough! Your cup is running full. If you want me to finish you here or on any media your fake career will dome to an end enibabyplus6Do you think we have deleted all your evil messages concerning those 3 kids Do you want the world to know the truth on how you keep him from seeing his kids. Girl…..don’t even go there with me! I am not hiding, I am Pero’s only sister! The older one. This is clap back season and i am so in on it. How dare you throw a subtle shade?!. You think her keeping quiet means she is stupid, you think she doesn’t know how to use social media to aim fame? Leaving her life in the US quietly is because she respects her children, loves them and does not throw them on social media to score cheap points and cheap likes. You think you can trespass that territory You just crossed the line. If you think you are superwoman, I got the krypton items for your ass! #dontevengothere, #youaretreadingonscorpionstail #liar!!!enibabyplus6If you think you can start something just because he got away from your claws to throw a 10th birthday party for his daughter, you got something else coming your way. #liar #Igotyourtime #andforyourtrollstoo!
