Career › Re: Injustice In My Workplace; Should I Return The Money? by Maximus85(m): 1:36pm On Mar 03, 2018 |
bilulu: Good morning all,
I work as a third party in an organization (firm A employed me to work for firm B). After the interview by firm A I was posted to firm B to work and I was told by firm A how much my salary is. I was happy that I have gotten a place to always resume at though the salary wasn't much.
After working in firm B for about 4 months I realised that firm A have been under paying me to the tune of almost 20,000 per month. I was short and my morale went down. I discussed it with one of the workers in firm A and he said I should wait for a perfect time to bring it to the notice of firm B.
It continued till I got that perfect time and it was about 8 months later. the moment I brought it to their notice (firm B) the manager was furious and called the manager of firm A that they must pay me back all my arrears and also with immediate effect place me on the salary on the contract.
To cut the story short, they placed me on the salary scale of the contract and they have also paid the arrears completely.
The moment I got the alert the manager of firm A called me to come over. I got their and he was telling me how the management have agreed that I should return part of the money with plenty stories. I told him I will get back to him if to return it or not.
I am so confused on what to do. If I decide to report to the manager of firm B they might decide to cancel the contract with firm A and everybody will go home. But the manager of firm B might decide to absorb me in the next contract because of the relationship I built with him overtime.
Still viewing from this other side of firm A, if I don't return the money they might decide to sack me and give nonexisting reasons though it will still jeopardise the contract.
Please I need your advice on what to do...... should I return the money or I should keep it and report to firm B on the plans of firm A?
Nairalanders pls help..... Bro, if you are going to somewhere important and a log of wood is blocking your way, what would you do? Give them what they want and move on. |

dainformant: A Nigerian football coach and soccer pundit has taken a swipe at Nigerian girls following the 'trend' in Zambia which sees their ladies show support for football clubs in their local league. The scout and intermediary at FIN Football Management Agency, Felix Ifeanyi Abacha Nwosu, said Nigerian ladies rather than support their local clubs - take their guys to expensive joints to spend big as he took a shade at them.
Below is what he shared on Facebook;
That's the trend in Zambia... Am loving it. How many Nigeria gals knows up-to 3 NPFL clubs talkmore of supporting them. All they do in weekends is to take their guys to expensive joints to make sure u spend 30k ND above...
Mehn, guys, be wise. Take her to the nearest stadium every weekend for an NPFL games, u save a lot. 200 Naira for both of u as gate fee, then buy ice-cream 400 for u both. Buy aki Hausa or groundnut 200.
And two bottle water of 200. U spend a total of 1000 Naira, that's less than $3 dollars... Then she will be happy. If she no gree go stadium and tell u shop rite, Kilimanjaro or Cinema, tell her u have emergency... Infact, that ur already dead father appeared in ur house in village now and u need to go know what he wanna tell u.

Guys, I don't want to waste my precious time teaching those that won't implement what is being taught. I've sent over 20 emails to those that dropped their email. I intentionally kept quiet to see those that will send me mails asking why the class has not started and I have gotten not even one mail. This is just to show that when something is free, Nigerians hardly ever take it seriously.

PrettyCrystal: There was pandemonium earlier today after former vice president, Atiku Abubakar shared money on arrival at the airport in Kano state. According to reports, even the airport officials and security personnel struggled in order to get their own share of the "national cake". The incident was said to have caused a chaotic moment at the airport.
The presidential aspirant on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) was in Lagos yesterday for an event where he met Rivers state governor, Nyesom Wike and others.

exlinklodge: No Nigeria Actor/Actress Is Good Enough To Feature In The Movie "Black Panther" - Gay Activist, Bisi Alimi
The Nigeria HIV positive LGBT activist, Ashiwaju Bisi Alimi have blasted Nigerian actors and actresses as well as Nigerians citizens for saying why won't there be a Nigeria actor in the latest movie "Black Panther" which clearly speaks about Africans.
Bisi Alimi said and I quote "The idea that their should have been a Nigerians actor in Black Panther is ludicrous. I am going to say this, as a matter of fact, there is no actor (male or female) in Nigeria that can act at such quality.
Black Panther was not about "screaming and shouting", it was about "acting" and those are not the same thing. And don't get me started at Nnaji (Genevieve Nnaji), she cannot act.
According to him;
Te industry can be better, but they also need to know and accept they are rubbish at the moment and then go for training, I mean like quality training. In a country that gave us Nollywood to think we don’t have a specialist drama school? It’s sad.
Do you agree?

Romance › Re: Why I Left Her And Have No Intention Of Going Back by Maximus85(m): 11:34am On Feb 22, 2018 |
ItzChinnex: So I stopped replying her messages on WhatsApp because she was too over demanding.
I once met this Girl in the room of my guy when she came to charge her only God knows what, then I fell partially in love with her. I collected her number and I started courting her on WhatsApp which she consented.
In the space of 1weeks, she demanded for airtime which I innocently sent her an amount of N1500. I believed we where flowing not until she asked again in a space of 5days, not that I hadn't the cash to send but I was just trying to use my common sense by telling her I will send but not immediately.
It was during this time I had a rethought about this and stop replying her messages on WhatsApp. We didn't communicate for about 2 months not until yesterday, she called me and said that she was angry with me for not contacting her for a long time. She said I should come to her hostel to see her.
I decided going to the hostel because I had in mind that after I see her, I will go to my guy's lodge around that area.
Before i reached her hostel, i branched to a bank around my area but the crowd was enormous, I had to see her like that because I can't wait. When I reached her hostel, i entered, she was on bum-short. She was like, where is my Valentine gift, I told her when I would be going home, we will branch to the bank, that I had no cash right there with me. Her mood suddenly became gloomy but she didn't wanted making it oblivious. She asked if I would eat, I said no, she started using indirect means to make sure i lavish on her. Our conversion was like
She: My phone is really bad Me: oh, really? She: yea.. It's a techno phone Me: oh, nice phone. She: but I can't use it because it's bad, I need a new phone Me: No response* She: you can get it for me as a Val gift. Me: lol.. Yeah sure. She: please let go to the bank now, Diamond bank is very close Me: The line is to much, I can't stand under the sun She: You will wait here, I will go for you Me: C'mon I can't give you my Atm She: OK, you have Mobile App right? Please transfer some money for me so I will buy the phone Me: I don't have a Mobile App She: OK.. What about your sim? I can transfer with your sim, hope you registered your acct with this sim? Me: no, I didn't
I waiting for like 5min, and all she was talking was Money Money Money. I felt some uncomfortable And I told her to be ready That on Saturday, I will send her the money and even take her out. I Collected her account details and boom, off I go. I think, today would be the very last day I would chat or even communicate her again. She was only digging gold on your land ooo. Go back to her narrr. |

In and out. See all these useless so called rich people, they are the dirtiest. If you know you are part of those littering the streets and highways with pure water nylon or gala nylon or you eat oranges and drop the remains on the street, if you don't stop, God will destroy you. dexterinc2003: Mr man, displaying your ignorance on a social media platform with such arrogance is why Nigeria is where it is today. But let me indulge you a bit by stooping low to ignorance level, so you might learn a thing or 2.
1. You cannot book a taxify service without a destination. It is GPS-based, which means you need a current location and a destination tobook the service, it is not cabu cabu that you just stop on the road side and enter.
2. Taxify is used worldwide and not only in Nigeria. The aim is to increase the ease of transportation, and it is private, meaning i can sit in my room, book a taxify cab at whenever i want to and get my service (which you probably don't know is a cashless transaction).
3. You sound like a misogynist who believe women have no freedom of movement. Please which century did you drop from, You may now proceed to having several seats. idiaataaaa!!!! Let's educate your dumb as. Once you have logged in your location, the nearest ride will be shown to you, you can call or text him and he can call you as well even before inputting your destination. My comment was based on the report from both parties. The lady never denied the fact that she never keyed in her destination as at when she called the taxify driver. dexterinc2003: The real question remains 'why would a taxify driver take a customer to an unknown destination?'. You cant behave like a kidnapper/Ritualist/ Rapist and now claim victimisation.
Taxify has a code of conduct which you have to adhere to or else you run into trouble (just like what happened in this case). Even without knowing all the full details of what transpired between them,it is clear that he has already behaved unprofessionally and Taxify could decide to fire him on that ground alone.
The Taxify brand has suffered already due to his indiscretion. And the real question you should have asked is why will a lady book taxify at 12 midnight with no destination. Use your brain if it's there abeg. |
