metroblogger: The Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Maikanti Baru, has vowed that Nigerians will not go into 2018 with the scarcity of petroleum products.
Baru, who disclosed this to State House correspondents in Abuja on Friday, reiterated NNPC’s position to ensure the pump price of fuel was maintained at the current official price of N145 per litre.
According to him, any marketer found hoarding fuel or selling above the official price will be punished.
“I’m happy to report that we have tamed the monster that reared it’s head as a result of the rumoured price increase about three weeks ago.
“Fortunately that rumour instigated a lot of marketers to be very greedy and they decided that their fellow citizens should not enjoy the Christmas holiday and New Year with ease and decided to profiteer starting by hoarding and diversion of products.
“At the beginning I did address the press, telling the world that we have sufficient products that will last us 30 days through the New Year into January but because the marketers wanted to inflict harm and pains on fellow citizens, they decided to hoard products, divert them and in some cases even smuggled products out of the country.
“This has been tamed by the actions we took and I personally led the war around Abuja and other teams led the war in Lagos and other parts of the country,’’ he said.
The GMD, according to NAN, noted that already the queues in the filling stations in Abuja had started disappearing, saying that normalcy would soon be restored in the distribution of the product.
He said: “As of this morning, I have gone round the Abuja metropolis and I have seen that the queues have reduced significantly to almost normal level and few motorists that I heard speaking on morning programmed concerning what I have seen said they have not spent up to 30 minutes to fuel their cars.
“So the monster has been tamed in Lagos, the situation has been brought into normalcy as far as two days ago and we are also aching the same thing in all other cities.
“I promise that we have sufficient products that will last us for the next 30 days and we keep bringing in 50 per cent over and above our normal consumption into the country.
“And vessels have been lined up, at the moment I have eight vessels discharging products at various ports around the country.
“So Nigerians should enjoy the New Year and that Mr. President’s directive and guidance which has been very helpful has been executed and normalcy has returned.’’
He advised those marketers that had hidden the products in odd locations to better bring them out and sell to the public at N145 per litre, saying “if NNPC sold it to you at N133.28, you have sufficient margin within that ambit to be able to supply and sell to the public at maximum N145 per litre.’’
According to him, the NNPC filling stations are selling the product at N143 per litre.
He warned that any marketer caught selling above the official price of N145 per litre would be sanctioned appropriately by the regulator, DPR and PPPRA with the support of law enforcement agencies.
He said the Nigerian Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC), would make sure that the products were confiscated and given free to the public.
“This is the directive that we are working on by Mr. President and is being executed to the later. Bring them out and sell these products, we don’t have any shortage and we are making massive loadings.
“Normally we should be able to have 850 trucks to satisfy the National consumption but as at yesterday (Dec. 28) we loaded 1,750 trucks to go around the country.
“So we will continue massive load out until we reach the former position whereby all the stations will have products and truck siding,’’ he added.

Next, I will call these 100 to give a testimony in front of the remaining 4900 people and tell them to pray harder, sow more seed, pay their tithe so they can give testimonies like these 100. I will them organize crusades and print these testimonies at the back of my fliers to attract more people, convincing them that God is using me to bless the people. From 5000, my followers will increase to 10000. I get more offerings and tithes. And surely, the number of people having breakthroughs will definitely increase. It goes on and on.
In a short while, I am getting richer and some will surely get rich too. I start to have branches all over the nation. Tithing dates far back before the Mosaic law. It is a covenant practice born out of revelation and insight into the deep things of God.
Father Abraham gave tithes. Jacob gave his tithe.
And if we are Abraham's children and are now partakers of Abraham's blessings, then we must equally engage the deeds of Abraham (Hebrews 7).
Many are busy shouting, "we are now under grace, and not under the law, therefore the law should be done away with". Is this only regarding tithing?
I hope grace has now nullified the law that says thou shall not kill, thou shall not commit fornication, thou shall not lie, thou shall not worship any other god besides me, etc.
Many have become abusers of grace because they don't understand what grace is and what it has come to do.
Grace is the divine ability to do God's will without limitation where ordinarily, men would fail. Grace rides on the wheels of Mercy.
It is this mercy (divine pardon) that everyone enjoys today as a result of the blood that Jesus shed on Calvary. That is why, when many ought to have died instantly after committing a sin, they live on. Mercy suspends at outright almost instant consequence for sin and gives many chances for repentance.
The death of Jesus didn't abolish tithing because if it does, then it also abolished the sin of murder, idolatory and fornication.
His death only grants us divine pardon from the immediate consequences of sin.

You are talking of the mosaic law. In those laws, how many are you keeping today? The principle of those laws is what Jesus gave us. Love God and your neighbors. Part of that law commanded the israelites not to harvest all their plants that some must be left for the poor. God was teaching them to always be ready to give. What we give to God today should be freely given from our hearts not by force. And what you give to God should be between you and him. If so, where does a tithe card comes in? Why are non tithers name posted on the notice board in churches?
Interesting15: Many Christians are yet to have an appropriate knowledge about the Rapture and The Second Coming of Jesus Christ, and there are some Christians who are even thinking they are the same.
First of all, we need to know that The Rapture and The Second Coming are two different events that will happen at different times.
The Rapture (from the Latin verb 'rapere', which means 'to transport from one place to another') is the catching up of all believers for a glorious meeting with Christ in the air.
"Behold I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed - in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality." (1 Corinthians 15:51-53).

So, The Rapture comes first, and is an event whereby the Lord Jesus comes for His Saints (dead and living), and we shall meet Him in the air.
The Saints are those who have accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior of their lives and are living in holiness. The Saints are those that are living a CONSISTENT holy and godly lifestyle, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. They are the ones who will be transformed to meet Jesus in the air, while unbelievers and lukewarm Christians will be left behind.
Now, after the rapture, the Saints will proceed into the sky to participate in the marriage feast of the Lamb, where rewards would be given to everyone present according to his/her deeds on earth.
What Happens To Those Left Behind?
Immediately after the rapture, the Great Tribulation will begin, and the Antichrist will be given power to torment those left behind. The Antichrist will force people to receive the mark of the beast (666) either on their forehead or arm.
Those that won't receive it would be vehemently tormented: They won't be able to buy and sell, they will suffer violent persecutions with no one to help. And according to the graphic illustration given by the Lord Jesus about the Great Tribulation (Matthew 24:15-28), many won't be able to withstand the torments for long (that is, they can't help but to receive the mark of the beast)
BUT: THOSE THAT WILL RECEIVE THE MARK OF THE BEAST WILL BE ETERNALLY DAMNED IN THE LAKE OF FIRE AT THE APPOINTED TIME.
Don't forget that while the tribulation is taking place on earth, the Saints that have been raptured are with Jesus Christ in the sky enjoying the marriage supper as well as their rewards.
THEN: At the end of the marriage supper in the sky and the Tribulation on earth, THE SECOND COMING will take place.
The Second Coming is the public revelation of Jesus Christ, when He comes WITH HIS SAINTS (those who have been previously raptured and have participated in the marriage supper in the sky) to set up the Millennium (see 1 Thessalonians 3:13 and Matthew 24: 29-31)
Here, those who have suffered just because they won't take the mark of the beast during the Great Tribulation, will now have a new hope.

Jesus said the day and hour of these events are not known, but will happen anytime, and it will come like a thief in the night. He gave us some signs we should watch out for, and if you look at the scriptures, you will see the signs keeps coming to pass (Please see Mark 13:
That means, if Jesus Christ can predict those things and TRUELY, they keeps coming to pass, then His promise of the rapture and second coming will also come to pass!
So, if you are yet to receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior, please do so now, as tommorow might be too late.
And for we that are already Christians, let us allow the belief that Jesus will return one day, to guide us within godly conducts.
How sure are you that you can withstand the torment of the Antichrist during the great tribulation? The best thing for you is to live a lifestyle of holiness that will make you rapturable with Jesus Christ, and go on with Him to enjoy the marriage supper.

What is the meaning of the mark 666, what does it represent? (remember the holy book said the number is a human number, and that the knowledgeable can calculate the number, why?) And what does it mean that the number would either be on people's forehead or on their arms? Do you think these are literal or figurative?
Most of all, none of these scriptures you quoted mentioned Rapture. It's an alien word. Be careful not to add or remove.

The law is not important as the principle of that law. Don't steal... Law. Principle: Why shouldn't you steal? What are the consequences?

Do you remember Korah? Do you know why God destroyed him and his associates? They didn't want to worship God they way God has required. They didn't want to acknowledge Moses as their leader. When God has instructed them to follow Moses and his brother Aaron.
Now, listen closely. Korah wasn't going to worship an idol (which is against God's commandment) he was still going to worship the true almighty God but in his own. God destroyed him. He didn't follow the way God has required.
Now to tithe. It was in the Bible to pay tithe under the law of that time. We are no longer under that law but the principles still apply. Give to God, give to the needy.
But if you want to pick that law of paying tithe, then you should be ready to bring your disobedient child to the street and be stoned to death, cos that was also part of the law back then. If two men are fighting or playing rough and they injured a pregnant woman and the baby inside dies, the two men will pay with their lives. These are also part of the law back then, so if we are no longer killing our disobedient children, I wonder why your pastors are singling out tithe and are brainwashing people to pay it. Under grace, you give as to how you deem fit, not under compulsion.
Now, even if we agree that we should pay tithe, are we following the process as it was stipulated in the law which we are no longer under?
In the law, who are the people God allowed to collect tithe? How often were they to pay? What was the tithe paid meant for? Was tithe to be paid in monetary forms?
If you can answer these questions, then let's compare with how tithe is being taken today.
A certain pastor said, tithe opens up blessings from God to the tithers. Someone has been paying tithe for 15years, still he can't afford to send his children to the schools built with tithers sweat. Meanwhile in the space of 15years, the pastor has built houses, bought cars and even private jets for himself. And year in year out, they sell stickers for these gullible fools saying, double double, heaven on earth, glory glory, my year of Devine upliftment.... Year in year out and these people are still poor and hungry. Where is the blessing their tithe was supposed to open for them?
What hurts most is that these fools that can't eat, can't pay rent, can't send their children to school still won't fckkkking believe they are suffering. Next year slogan will be another brain wash... 2018 my year of double assured blessings.....
