In the above verses, was it the holy spirit Jesus was referring to or the Father in John 4:24?

There problem is TRINITY!

No theology school can explain Trinity to correlate with biblical teachings so they told each theology scholar to fabricate his or her own definition or explanation that's why you can't find two trinitarians that agreed on the doctrine they always contradict themselves yet they will not desist from this demonic term that is leading them astray.

Each trinitarian will continue telling you that holy spirit will teach you yet they don't have the same line of thought {John 17:22} which makes it difficult for peace to reign among them! John 14:26-27🙂

Our loyalty is reserved for God alone! Deuteronomy 6:5; Mark 12:30

For instance God's Son commanded us not to lift up weapons against anyone be it friend or foe {Matthew 5:43-48} while earthly authorities always want to fight against their enemies. So if they seek our loyalty against their opponents we are to remain neutral since we are no part of their strife {John 17:14-16} but when they demand tax and other levies we must obey them since that's what they need to run their government. Romans 13:6-7

What prevented him from sleeping with potiphar’s wife was not a resolve to chastity but rather loyalty to his master. So do u think if Joseph was already addicted to sex he would have been able to resist his master's wife persistent temptations?

Please let's consider what Joseph said on the matter:

“Here my master does not know what is with me in the house, and he has entrusted everything he has into my care. There is no one greater in this house than I am, and he has not withheld from me anything at all except you, because you are his wife. So how could I commit this great badness and actually sin against God?” Genesis 39:8-9

When people say temptation it connotes what they shouldn't do for a reason but tricked into doing it.
Sex is not evil God initiated it between couples and God's word says the couple should see to it that they don't starve each other for sex. 1Corinthans 7:5
The problem comes from uncontrolled desires which is detrimental to our well-being {1Corinthans 6:18} when the Bible says God will judge/destroy people who are practicing immorality {Hebrews 13:4} it doesn't mean God is pained when people have sex but those committing sexual immorality aren't showing appreciation for life because it's unhealthy! Act 15:28-29

It is those that are raptured that will reign with Christ for 1000 years.

The word RAPTURE is nowhere in God's word but i think i can relate with what you are trying to say because the Bible confirmed that a limited number of humans will be taken to heaven with Jesus as his corulers {1Thessalonians 4:16-17} Jesus said these people are no longer coming back because they will be there forever as spirit creatures {Luke 20:34-36} and he will go and prepare a place for them {John 14:1-3} because God never purposed for humans to live in heaven! Psalms 115:16

So while this limited number are taken to heaven Jesus will make sure his other disciples {John 10:16} who are not part of his corulers are safe on planet earth {Matthew 5:5 compare to Psalms 37:7-11} the reason why God's word refer to those taken to heaven as SAVED is later revealed in the Bible book of Revelation 20:5-6 and it's because after the 1,000 years reign of Christ Jesus and his 144,000 corulers Satan who has been locked up will be released as he claimed that no human can remain faithful to God under test {Job 1:9-11} at that time all inhabitants of planet earth would have become perfect just like Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden with no lacking that is when Satan will be let loosed to come and test them and whatever anyone chooses to do at that time will serve as judgement because all those who followed Satan will be destroyed along with Satan! Revelation 20:15

It's the Bible God that says darkness is evil but to the common people the word DARKNESS means strength and ability to navigate without any sign of light while all others remain stagnant agents of darkness are active and mobile.
So to them it's invincibility not evil at all.

But according to the Bible God light means enlightenment because without light nobody can see any object around which means there is no way forward.

Note what the Bible says at Genesis 1:2

Now the earth was formless and desolate, and there was DARKNESS upon the surface of the watery deep, and God’s active force was moving about over the surface of the waters.

What Satan is telling them is that he will make them mobile just as God was moving in darkness without light but it's all deception!😟

Another example in the first century was a Pharisee named "Gamaliel" he stood up among his fellow Pharisees and spoke favorably in support of Christians yet he was never a Christian.
