I gotta criticize now

The audience r so dry,no excitement at all.
The stage too small for God sake
The judges got it wrong putting Oluchi on probation
I don't Knw how Yousuf wanna stay long in the academy, The Fuji stuff is even reflecting when he talks

Just bored watching it.

Stand out performers

Pere
Winner
I totally agree pere and winner killed it. However, I think d beauty of music itself is originality, ain't nothing wrong wit yusuph's fuji flavour. That is who he is. No matter ho much we try we can't be Americans, can Chris Brown come to naija and sing fuji? Hell no. What is wrong in embracing wot we have?? This same marginalisation and victimisation was done to oyinkansade back den. As far as naija music industry is concerned, he is doing far better Dan Ayo who won dat season or even marvellous who was termed the best male voice in d house. It's high tym we started embracing originality, me I av casted my vote for yusuph. He deserves to stay.

Honestly bro, you are just getting yourself worked up over nothing.
You said you have gotten used to it and your girlfriend has also learned to live with it, so I don't see any reason for you to be paranoid.
She claims to have learned to live with it, but it doesn't go down well with her when d embarrassing situations happen, what if she's just being polite and careful with my feelings? Maybe if you were in my shoes, u'd get what I mean, but Tnx all d same.

Absolutely not
Tnx for d smart comment, however does that mean you just say and do nothing when someone puts u down? Especially in front of ppl that look up to u and respect you?

The real intent behind opening this thread is purely selfless, A little lengthy but I need you advise on this one please. I am a young man in my late twenties but trust me when I say I get mistaken for a teenager, people while trying to console you say ‘oh, you will enjoy it when you are about 50 and above’. I have very embarrassing encounters at least once every week, when strangers are just so disrespectful to you thinking you are some kid, well, once I talk for about 2 minutes, they are speechless cos yes, I am really intelligent and talk my age, suffice it to add that I am a practicing accountant, graduated from the university about 4 years ago. Like I said the intention behind opening this thread is selfless, it’s my fiancée, it worries me how she feels when someone disrespects me in front of her, I always stand up for myself anyway, but I can’t imagine how embarrassed she’d feel. I was driving with her by my side to the mall one afternoon and got pulled over by the police, One of the policemen yelled at me ‘you this small boy, na because you carry woman, u no wun stop ya car abi’… I was mad like wanted to bitch slap the dude, I calmed down and reported him to his colleague who apologized on his behalf, I later called him too and rebuked him, seeing the confidence I showed, he denied it , said he never said such.(that felt good, at least my fiancée was listening…lol) To cap it all up, I have learned to live with this cos it’s been on since like forever. But my woman, it bothers me. She claims she has learned to live with it too, but truth us I keep thinking, what if she’s just trying to not get me worried or it bothers her for real and could be consequential on our relationship. What’s your take on this guys? Helpful comments from mature minds only please.

Nah... i do not agree. guess op is talking out of his own personal experiences which were somewhat frustrating. 'sorry if that hurt'. i am a living witness, rewind 2 years ago, i was always applying online. some nights i could apply for up to 30 vacancies, it seemed like it was a waste of time, i was a marketer(contract staff) at a bank, yeah, you know that's no good experience. pay was meagre and stress was enormous. outta the blues i got a call from a multinational company. d tin be life film trick cheesy but here i am today living very fine. those applications paid off afterall, please note that i didnt know nobody at the company, my CV fitted their needs, i came and spanked the interview and the rest as they say is history. dont give up bro, keep applying!

U are only right to an extent, having it this simple is the first of its kind. I hope it's as simple as its stated in there.
Just so u know am not a gtb staff, but I worked with another nigerian giant bank and worked in the e-business department, so I know what am talking about

Weirdly enough, i am also in a situation where i need to make a choice between those two cars. I think the altima is more elegant and fashionable. And, at the end of the day you will see that its all about maintenance, no matter what your choice eventually is. But then, i'd like peeps that have prior knowledge of the cars to come and enlighten us more.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Testimonies Of Second-Class Lower Graduates Who Have Good Jobs by mayim(m): 10:59pm On Feb 12, 2015
I graduated with a 2.2 and I work as an accountant in a multinational firm. I knew no one, was called for the interview, I proves myself. My manager now who was part of the panel for my interview made a comment, he looked straight into my eyes after I have answered all the questions thrown at me, he said 'he's a smart guy'. There and then I knew I had gotten the job. The starting salary was double what d KPMGs and PWCs of this world would pay. Every good and perfect gift comes from God!
There is hope for your 2.2, trust me

You have your own share? If you did it with married women another man will pop the cherry of your fiancée in camp grin.
well, i see the humour in that. note that i said i wasn't committed to anybody and besides i never hooked up with married folks, i see it as sacrilege.
NYSCRe: Why Do Some Married Ladies Commit Adultery During NYSC? by mayim(m): 3:47pm On Dec 11, 2014
My fiancée is going for service come February and trust me, am scared to death cos I know what I saw with my eyes back when I served. Not to sound hypocritical, I had a my own share back then too cheesy but I wasn't committed to anybody. Without mincing words, i totally agree and subscribe to married folks being exempted from the scheme or better still, the government could find a way around it, like exempt them from camping and get them a PPA in very close proximity to their homes. It is pertinent though to state that an infidel will always be an infidel regardless of NYSC or no NYSC. So you see, charity begins at home.

Well, I am a practicing accountant too in a multinational firm, I have always rocked afro since my university days, and I still do, in fact I wore afro to the interview that got me the job. So far it's clean and decent, many peeps won't have issues with it, at least the reasonable ones. I for one believe in modesty, keep your hair clean and tidy no matter the style ur wearing

The fog is clearing based on your comments so far, more comments would be appreciated though.

Vessi: I don't understand why she's still too shy or withdrawn since you guys have gone too far.
It appears you love her extremely, here is what I think, you guys should go out and catch some fun as though you were kids.

Go to parks and catch fun, if she likes pool, swim with her ot tutor her. Go to cinemas and watch romantic movies with popcorn bags on your hands, go to zoos and see cute birds and animals. Just take her out and spend quality, romantic, fun-filled moments with her. I'm sure her spirit and soul will be lifted. If she is not possessed, she will start being jovial and open to you.

Also, ask her friends and family, if she is that secretive, withdrawn, quite, shy, timid within the family and with friends. Ok?
thanks a bunch man, i'll have to talk with her siblings and best friend

hmm..now i get your drift, she is romantic inside the house but when we go out,its a different ball game. she doesn't even wana hold hands for long, it's that bad. (and just so you know, am good looking huh) so she has no reason not to be proud of me

Vessi: I underwent same treatment with the woman I call my ex now.
My brother, if you feel uncomfortable in any relationship you are in, I tell you most solemnly there is the type you want out there. Women all need that affectionate working class type of you. For all I care you can not change her, maybe it was because I was unable to change my ex to be more open with words and in public. Since you have told her this times without number, just like I've done. Nature now calls on you to do the needful. She doesn't desire change and is incompatible with you.

I am commenting because I underwent just same thing as you.
So make your choice. Forget about what people will think. It is your relationship and future marriage at stake here, if she is unwilling to change(perhaps she is shy or hiding something from you), and you can't bear her timidity and shyness.

Oga walk out.
thanks bro, but just as you know what my fear is, we've come a long way and its so hard walking away, i mean this lady has a lot of admirable qualities, i mean a whole lot. but her deficiencies seems to be so weighty
