Hello romancelanders, so my wedding is next month and I really want to have a memorable honeymoon, especially for my wife to be. Dubai, Paris and all are way above my budget for now or let me just say I have bigger priorities. Nonetheless I strongly bliv I can honeymoon here in Nigeria and it’ll be fun. I’m based in lagos and would like to travel outside lag. I’ve researched and see. places like obudu, yankari games reserve etc I know these places were top notch when they were established but u can’t guarantee what they look like now due to d poor maintenance culture of Nigeria. I need suggestions pls, valid ones. If u had ur honeymoon recently, kindly share the location. Also if there is any African country I can travel to with my wife on a budget of 400 to 450k max, I’ll be open to it. Thanks in anticipation guys. Cheers

@op...I just quickly glanced thru d post, didn’t read d comments and ur updates but let me quickly drop this...it is emotionally draining dating a lady with low self esteem, they are potential cheats. If she doesn’t work on it, she definitely will cheat on u, take it from someone who has been there. She loved me so much but she still did. Love is work, love is commitment, love is dedication...not just some mushy mushy feeling, if u love her, den stay and help her work on it but be prepared cos it won’t be easy, if u don’t love her dat much or u don’t see urself marrying her, save urself the stress and move on with ur life. Some of d earlier advices are very valid, u will need a letter of administration to process the claims and yes, you go through the PFA not the bank. However be very sure not to add anyone’s bank account as the beneficiary except yours or your siblings’...I have seen cases like dat where the claim is eventually paid into someone else’s account...you can send me an email so we talk, I am in the position to get your money out for u and even see to it that whoever is trying to divert the money is brought to justice. It’s an African mentality thing and it’s so bad, we just don’t know how to mind our business...the other day, I was getting contraceptives at d pharmacy, as I mentioned the name of d drug, peeps just looked up, wanted to see who was buying...I was coming back from work with my suit and tie, I just kept a stern look and they all looked away immediately...I was pissed honestly but that’s wat it is and we have to deal with it.

Hello beautiful people, I got an iPhone 6 Plus some two months ago and it’s my first time using apple. I discovered that there are two dots beside the front camera lens just above the speaker and every other iPhone 6 Plus I’ve seen has just one dot just above the speaker, while mine has two. I’m scared I was probably sold a refurbished or abnormal phone of some sort. Kindly help urgently with a response in this regard. I’ll be waiting for comments. Thanks

Let me educate u since everyone just comes to nairaland and forms I have sense. For every round u fire as a military personnel, u give account for it and trust me u don’t want to tell your commanding officer or even your platoon seargent that you wasted live rounds like that, besides wherever the Nigerian army have a camp or base, the first thing to do is to cordon the area and ensure it is made safe, then they dig trenches( a large pit ) where some soldiers will be day and night mounting sentries. Imagine an Hyena entering your trench at night when everywhere is dark. Point is it is dangerous to have that animal lurking around, it was expedient to kill it when you think of how it could be a distraction and it’s movement at night might be mistaken for enemy invasion. The mistake was taking the picture and posting it online, that was so uninformed and barbaric. Take his from someone who was under intensive military training for well over a year. Pls let’s try and analyse issues objectively, ur comments are a reflection of who you are

I was in 100l, looked so young even though I definitely wasn’t the youngest. The most brilliant lecturer we had at the time, a Dr Mrs. She must have been observing me long ago and hellbent on humiliating me. She started a new topic in class and was asking students to share their ideas on the topic, obviously absent minded, she pointed to me to speak. I told her I had no bright idea, that was it, she snapped, went on all about how young I was, definitely youngest in d class, was I thinking of girlfriends? When I have no business having any at my age, said a whole lot of humiliating stuff. It was meant to motivate me but d approach was totally wrong and embarrassing, in front of over 500 students. It’s those kinda courses about 4 departments write and even students from other faculties. It affected my self esteem for a long time, fought so hard to shake it off. That was over 10 years ago. Graduated very well, my brilliance has never been in doubt and I’m today a practicing and professional accountant. That experience cud have marred me and scarred me all through university but thank God I rose above it. Lecturers shd be careful the things they say to students, they are adults and have feelings too. Just with ur utterances u cud kill a dream, a family’s expectations and investment.

Mine was about two years ago, had an interview in Abuja and as pepper never rest that time, I went by road. Night bus actually, all the way from Lagos and the interview was for the following morning by 8 am. Unfortunately the luxurious bus developed issues and had to move at snailspeed. As at 10 am we were just getting to Okene, Kogi state and my interview was for 8. I was determined to still go and see it through as I couldn't come all that way to turn back. I decided I cudnt continue with that bus so I dropped at okene and joined a car going to Abuja, beside me was this cute lady and we got talking, she was so mature and intelligent as we discussed random life issues. Halfway into the journey she fell asleep on my shoulders, I adjusted well for her to relax and she comfortably slept on chest innocently. She woke up when we got to Lokoja and out gists continued, I asked about what she does and right there I got the shock of my life, she said she was a secondary school student!, she was a boarding student and was heading back to school in Gwagwalada, she was in ss2. I was dumbfounded, a girl of this maturity? She had the body of a grown lady, so pretty. I just advised her on education, choice of course and all, we still flowed very well. When she was about alighting, I instinctively wanted to ask for her number but something just stopped me, she was very attracted to me already but yet she's so young, what if she was my little sister? Would I want that kind of distraction for her instead of facing her studies? I just let her go. She kept on looking back as she expected me to ask for her number, I only waved. It was a bitter pill to swallow. The memory is still very fresh, I still wish we contacted till date but she definitely would have wanted more. I on the other hand am already engaged and I can't even do anything with a girl that young. I can't remember her name, it hurts. Would have checked her up on facebook or something.

You will need a GPA of at least 4.6 in all your remaining semesters in school. You can achieve it. Never let anybody make u think cannot. However, sisterly advise from someone with work experience close to a decade. A decent 2.1 is fine for anything dream you wanna achieve. Don't be too upset or hard on urself if 1st class doesn't pan out.

Follow the link given to re login... www.oda1.com then input the event ID you used initially, it'll log you in. I had same issue yesterday. I was on the 27th page of the personality test when the network went off. I had to go through that link and entered my EVENT ID. Then I was able to submit.

Many thanks, the error message its giving is 'you cannot restart this event again'. i have done it on multiple occasions but was not able to submit.
Do they have a helpdesk i could escalate to??

For her to even come out to tell u shows d love she has for u and also to assure u Dere are no ulterior motives. She's human for Christ sake, I bliv she's trying to say she misses u. My fiance used to be far away from me. D first time she watched porn out of sexual desire. She told me and even felt bad. I told her it's alright Dat I understand. So far she never tries to cheat on me, am fine. If u love, respect and trust ur wife, dis should not be an issue.
Wot I did was to teach her how to touch herself. Dat was d best way out. She was timid at first but later knew her way around it. She's d best woman I ever met and faithful. It's communication basically. We are now together but shd my job take me far away, no worries.

But c'mon, maturity doesn't necessarily go with age. kanu d football icon married an 18 yr old and Dey are still going strong. So far they are best of friends, thinks can work. But most importantly, d young man needs a full dose of maturity.
