Well-known fact. You risk a high rpm. The TB adapts well to the grit that builds on the valve over time; remove the dirt and the you throw the TB off balance. No problem once you have the tool to do the IAVL to "pacify" it.

That's well known on a drive by wire system. Best way to clean is take it off the intake plenum or better have someone press the pedal for you while you do the cleaning.

Nope. Nissan removed the IACV from the Maxima after 2001. The term used for the TB function is Idle Speed Control System. And when it's out of specs you need Idle Air Volume Learning for correct regulation.

Let him check the idle air control valve. Let him check the throttle body. If dirty clean it up. That can cause this problem as well. Just treated this same issue on a pathfinder

What year of Rav4 is this? Am so much in doubt of this. It should be the other way round.i.e the horn might stoo work there is a flex inside the SAS if it gets over strecthed then your horn might stop working inclusive of all steering control buttons you have. Lets do this.

Check if all buttons work on the steering
Is your airbag light on?
Was there any recent job done on the steering, swaybar link ?
If its the SAS that's faulty I have yours in stock

If you get a cluster from a car of same year with same engine it should be plug and play but your mileage will be different.

Why not explain what happened before things started going wrong, it could be a mechanic worked on the car first then gauges went crazy.

Reason to know what was done is to be able to narrow down where you might possibly have a ground fault which gauges don't work right and if and share a ground wire linked to the cluster from ecu

I recently bought a used Audi A4 from a nairalander.

After transacting, we left to a workshop to fix the shock. I observed the car overheats whenever I use the AC. I repaired and tested it worked. Few hours later the overheating started after using the AC again.

Also, the starring is strong, I have changed the starring pump it worked very good. After some hours, it started again.

Please I need help as I don't know what to do and I am not ready to spend more money without positive result.

So far I have spent close to 50k without result.

Most fords have their security system mounted into their instrument panel and when replaced needs to be programmed otherwise car would not start. I do not have an idea of why he wants to change it. Perhaps the older was has been brutalized by kazeem. @ op why do you want to change yours?
