Good development!

I noticed where it says meeting was held in Ibadan. Yoruba leaders came together in the heart of their homeland to deliberate their future in Nigeria.

I cannot remember Ibo leader ever doing same in Enugu. If they did not meet in Abuja, they are meeting in Lagos, or Kano, to discuss Ibo political future.

Ibo leaders should follow the lead of others and demonstrate love and pride in their homeland.

Certainly not because if you had,you won't have enough time online insulting a whole tribe. Since Igbos are nothing to you,why did your grand fathers died shamelessly to bring Igbos back to Nigerian fold. You 're inconsequential scum and worth no dignifying with a response.

**grins** If Igbos build mansions because money is new to them. Show us mansions your forebears built in browny Osun among the rusted sandy houses since money is not new to you. We will manage it even without a toilet in it. **LOLS**
You build individual, you neglect generality.

Yoruba build and move its generality along. Its why Yoruba survive in its own territory and does not need Ibo and dont even see Iboland as an option for settlement.....but every Ibo, no matter how much mansions he built or the size of it, cannot become sonebody unless he first reside in Yorubaland.

Grow up and be like Yoruba.

Your rights to pillage and logo ends when it involves other people.
the right to exercise choice and liberties is God given.
A society must have heirarchy.....those who lead and speak for others, and those who are led and protected from top.

This simple arrangement is unequivocally accepted as the foundational unit of government in all civilized societies.

when the man on top of society is no longer trustworthy the civilized Yorubas will send him an ominous sign in the form of a parrots egg concealed in a calabash. If he fails to act before another sun has risen on the soil.....the subjects march on him and force him into a disgraced exile.

This is how Yorubas topple an irresponsible leader.

There is reason why Army was deployed on streets of Lagos yesterday. PDP know what Yorubas are capable of doing......and they know where it would start.

We are proud of our legacy as defenders of peoples rights and as activists for civic responsibility.

This is why i always say Yoruba is the father of political democracy in Nigeria.

We have agitated the politics continously for over a decade and forced the country to adopt best practices for democracy. Gej wasted the gains of our efforts.

I do not believe he wants election because he knows what the outcome will be. The promise of March 28th is a lie. This election will not hold in March. February 14th was a promised date and with commitments...but they moved it. So whats special about March 28th that they cant move it again using a different excuse? How about they come out and say ballot papers had February date and needs to change to the correct date and so we need new prints which wont be ready for six months? How about if INEC staff go on strike and wont end strike till July....and so no trained alternates to substitute....we need to postpone? If we do not have the resolve to stop the bs now, where would the resolve come from in March to confront the evil?

There is a Rwanda in our future.....

Do you remember the clash between dss and attempted escapist boko haram in yellow house last yr? It was an effort to rebel the military and march to aso rock cut short, am not ruling out anything especially this times when proffessionalism is at lowest ebb among all security agencies, when private individuals got nice metals to shoot anything.
yep!
In addition to your input, has anyone ever wondered why Army has substandard weaponry? It is a strategy calculated into scenarios like you just mentioned. They are armed well enough to intimidate and harass armed police and unarmed civilians but are subperior to armed opponents like DSS or similar security details around the presidency. This is what made their attack on Aso rock easily subdued by DSS.

It is no wonder why boko haram subdue Army in a face off its because bokoharam carry same grade of assault weapon DSS use, both come through same supply chain!
PoliticsRe: Defy The Military And Conduct Elections, Group Tells INEC by MayorofLagos(m): 10:03am On Feb 08, 2015
No....INEC must act responsibly!
The polls will be staffed by its personnell,, transportation and movement of materials across the country, so they will need security escorts and safety.

The security of intra and inter-state functions is the responsibility of police, not Army. Police is not fighting Boko, Army is.

So what concerns Army with safety and security for election and why would its engagement with boko be a distraction to security of INEC staffs?
This is what needs to be explained.

Meanwhile in the North, nobody is directed to go to a local government to pick up their pvcS. They give the PVCs to village heads who distribute the cards to their people. In the North, they have recorded over 90% collection rate while we are struggling to achieve 60% collection rate across the southern region.
reallyhuh
There is a new educated class in Nigeria! The Northerners have, of late, been trouncing SouthEasterners in aspects of logic and orderliness in the society.

In a city where you claim majority, you cant vote......something is either wrong with your propaganda or your number majority is a myth.

the coup is not against democracy but a toppling of irresponsibility and laxity in the Armed Forces.

it should be sponsored!

PoliticsThe Risk Of A Palace Coup by MayorofLagos(op): 8:57am On Feb 08, 2015
The security chiefs are creating grounds for a legitimate rebellion to their authority, a palace coup and decapitation of their offices.

We have increasingly witnessed young officers stepping out in contradiction to chain of command and acting independently to exercise discretion and authority against their boss. It happened with the promotion controversy under Ihejirika, it happened in mutinous cases in Maiduguri and Sambisa, a Captain just recently blew the whistle on how PDP is using Armed Forces personnel and defense ministers as conduits to perpetrate crimes on the electorates.

Now we have security chiefs terrorizing the electorates that unless it goes along with PDP desire to change election date national security will be withdrawn.

The military is about blow up....a coup in defense headquarters is imminent!
PoliticsRe: Fashola: Release Igbo PVCs. NOW. by MayorofLagos(m): 8:26am On Feb 08, 2015
Sometimes I read news about Ibos and just shake my head in disbelief, that this ethnic group is called a majority along with true giants like Yoruba and Hausa is dumbfounding!

Why was Ibo designated as a majority in Nigeria? These comedians have zero understanding about citizenship and rights...always twisting things on its head!

Let me school these mofos about voters cards, whether it is temporary or permanent is irrelevant!

Any card identification issued to you, or in your name to someone else, by a government agency is owned by the issuing agency, not you! So a Voters Card belongs to INEC but its use for civic functions is AUTHORIZED to you. Therefore you are the only legally authorized person to use the card and no one, not even the owner, INEC, can deny you posession of a VC issued under your identity without a legal justification why the card is witheld.

Any and all Ibo/s who say Fashola or his street agents withold their VC lack knowledge of fundamental citizen rights and don't belong in Lagos society....they need to be deported back to East where village rumor mill is the voice of reason. Lagos cant tolerate slackers, period! angry

PoliticsRe: Elections Shifted To March 28, April 11 by MayorofLagos(m): 4:17pm On Feb 07, 2015
There will be another reason before then why March 28th is untenable.

What if they say we have mafe tremendous success on the ground and cannot dial back the hands of clock....but the goal of clearing ground for election in NE has yet to be completed and si we need to move election to July. Then whathuh

In July another reason will come up....Nigerians continue to acquiesce and bend over and refuse to hold officials to commitments and accountability...so flagrant disobedience and disorderliness flow from top to bottom and bottom to top in a cyclic exchange.
