2021_1 EXAM CLEARANCE


This is to bring to your notice that exam clearance for 2021_1 will commence on 19th April, 2021. This announcement is strictly for students of Ibadan Study Centre only.


In addition, students in other study centres should start preparing for exam clearance because registration of courses and exam will close on Thursday, 15th April and there won't be an extension.

Dear Readers,

Several concerns have been raised with respect to the veracity of the story alleging Nigeria’s Minister of Com­munications, Sheikh Isa Pantami being placed on Terror watch-list for alleged ties with the late Boko Haram Leader Muhammed Yusuf in our publication.

We launched an independent audit to evaluate the story and found that there was no direct attribution by the said United States Government agency and we do apologise to our readers for re-publishing the report and also to the person of Sheikh Isa Pantami, Nigeria’s Minister of Nigeria’s Minister of Com­munications.

The video embedded in the story where the Minister and the late leader of Boko Haram revealed that, the minister and the late Boko Haram leader were in a heated debate. Sheikh Pantami in the video disagreed with Muhammed Yusuf’s position, insisting that Muslims should enrol in schools and equally participate in democractic governance. However, Yusuf argued to the contrary with little evidence from the Qur’an and Hadith which he relied on.

As an organisation, we always aspire to perform our due diligence in publishing or re-publishing third party articles with credible media organisations and in accordance with the highest ethical and professional guidelines and for this story, we found that story was published by Daily Independent without attribution.

Based on this development, we are retracting the story and deleting the article from our platforms, news websites and the various social media pages.

✅ Admission for 2021 session is currently on. UNDERGRADUATE Form is 5k; PGD/MASTERS form is 7500.

✅ Registration of course and exam for 2021 is ongoing.

✅ E-exam continues this week.

✅ Final year students can now proceed to the study centre to submit their project topics and allocation of supervisor

✅ IT students should proceed to collect their logbook. Defense and submission begins in a few months time.

✅ All Gsts are compulsory to do. So, if you're a direct entry student you must do all Gsts from 100l.

✅ 2020_2 POP result loading...

✅ Submission of projects for 2020_2 semester is ongoing.

I hereby bring to your notice that NOUN website, nouonline.net has been refreshed or updated this evening in full preparation for 2021_1 academic session. Although the semester has commenced since December but now is the most appropriate time to start your registration.


Furthermore, I want to remind you that in NOUN, it is mandatory for all students to do ''portal registration'' otherwise known as semester registration or activation. Let's say you don't have enough fund to register courses and exams in present semester, ensure you do portal activation in order for your profile to be active in the database until you are ready to resume academics.
