Nice one! Just imagine that these politifcians were sworn in with Juju instead on Bible and Koran, they won't be looting the way they do. But Africans don't have faith in their own method anymore just because the white man asked us to. |
Nigeria is a RETROGRESSING nation. if the country continues with the resent high rate of corruption in high places, in 10 years time, there will be virtually no infrastructure to measure development. |
Some people are just morons on the keyboard. If you can't make an intelligent contribution to a discuss, why not read other people's useful comments and make good use of the internet? Am referring to all those tribalistic chimps making those imbecilic comments above. ![]() |
All Kwarans I used to know are cowards! They are so afraid of Saraki that they can't even air their view on an anonymous online forum like Nairaland. Let Saraki turn all of them to slaves for all I care. It could be their destiny to worship that family! who knows? |
DO UNTO YOUR SPOUSE AS YOU WOULD HAVE HER/HIM DO UNTO YOU. But there are no perfect human on earth, we only have humans with perfect intentions. |
Osama trained gas men at work! |
Nigerians are too daft to have their human rights respected. From the replies so far above, you'll see people that have accepted suffering as a way of life. Even if someone is pointing it out, the prefer to receive the abuse than fight for a change. Nigeria have loooooooooooooooooooooooong way to go. it's such a pity! ![]() |

David Mark didn't fulfill his romantic promise to Joy Emordi |
What we want is a rep with good heart not those that hardly visit their constituency like Joy . |
When it comes to corruption and conning, Nigerians can't match Americans, an American con man can defraud a whole bank, close down a company, Americans are double speak devil. They pretend as if they're good, but deep inside them, the commit all sort of atrocity. Research properly into their way of life and you'll know the truth. |
With a bible in his left hand and clutching some oath papers with the right, Alphonsus Ubanese Igbeke of the All Nigeria People’s Party yesterday took the oath that confirmed him as the senator representing Anambra North senatorial district. The event, which took place at the Senate chambers, brings an end to a protracted, “tortuous and dramatic” journey to the senate. He will now replace Joy Emordi who had spent three years in a four year tenure that started in 2007. Until yesterday, Mrs Emordi, had tenaciously held on to the senate seat despite court rulings ousting her from the senate. She had in March been asked by an Enugu Appeal Court to leave the senate following the court’s ruling that it was Mr. Igbeke who got the majority vote at the 2007 Anambra North senatorial election. |
isdis4real:This guy is bluffing. If it is true, He won't even come on board to announce it. He'll quietly return the money if he is truthful or conner the money if he is dubious. |
Nigeria is again Portrayed in a bad light in another film, "LOST" in its season two. There, Sayid the Arabian was telling Charlie, a drug addict about how two Nigerians, disguised as priest, smuggled in Heroin in Virgin Mary Statue. Is Nigeria this bad in the eyes of the world/ |
and you think the man won't treat you as a desperado? Wait for your man to find you. not the other way round! |
evil666:Word! she was at DM's daughter's wedding some weeks back, that's were DM gave her his word that Ubanese will not be sworn in. it's obvious that the politics has gone to bedroom chamber. 9ijaprince:That's your opinion. Literacy does not translate to good representation.Illiterate Ubanese worn the election while Prof: Joy lost. Beside, what has Joy contributed to the people of Anambra north as a senator all these while? |
Am just wondering. Does crime and politics cousins or Siamese twins? |
An Edo State House of Assembly 2011 aspirant, Eme Zuru Ayortor, 52, has been apprehended by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), for attempting to smuggle 2.12kg cocaine in his stomach. The suspect, who is a pharmacist, was nabbed at the screening area for passengers at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport (MMIA), Lagos, while trying to board a Lufthansa flight to Frankfurt. Mitchell Ofoyeju, spokesperson for the anti-narcotics agency, disclosed that the politician is one of the high profile suspects nabbed by the NDLEA at the airport in recent times. “After undergoing observation, the pharmacist-turned-politician excreted 100 pieces of powdery substance that tested positive to cocaine, weighing 2.12kg. The quantity also makes him the highest drug ingesting suspect since January 2010,” he said. According to Mr. Ofoyeju, the suspect claimed to have relied on his physique and social status to evade arrest, stressing that the strategy was not successful for the suspect this time. “A preliminary check on him revealed that he was preparing himself financially for the forthcoming election into the Edo State House of Assembly,” said Ofoyeju. Ahmadu Giade, chief executive of the agency, assured that the police is determined to expose anybody dealing in narcotic drugs under any guise. “We do not look at faces in conducting drug screening, and we are not moved by credentials. Whoever is dealing in narcotics shall be exposed and prosecuted in line with the agency’s act,” he said in a statement. The suspect According to the agency, the suspect, Mr. Ayortor, taught at the Baptist High School, Benin City, before going to the United States where he studied Pharmacy at the University of Wisconsin, adding that he returned to Nigeria in 2006, and the following year contested for a seat at the Edo State House of Assembly but he lost. Hamza Umar, airport commander for the agency, disclosed that the case is under investigation, adding that follow-up operations on the development have been positive. “A follow-up operation into the case is yielding very positive results, and at the appropriate time, more facts shall be released to the public,” he said. The suspect, in a statement from the agency, disclosed that he lost all he had as a pharmacist when he contested the 2007 elections in Edo State. “I contested the 2007 House of Assembly election in Edo State and lost. I also lost all my savings as a practising pharmacist in that election. Now, the coast is clear, and I am being favoured to run in 2011 in my party. That was how I got involved in this mess. I needed to reposition myself for the 2011 election financially. I thought that with my position and appearance, there will be no problem at the screening. I do not know where to start from here,” he lamented. Meanwhile, Mr. Ofoyeju disclosed that the agency had in times past arrested a doctorate degree holder, an ex-counsellor, and a family at the Lagos airport. He added that the politician and drug peddler will soon be charged to court.

The Judge has be bribed, he even look corrupt! |
Obj did not say even Jesus cannot conduct election, He said that even if Jesus conduct election, that Nigerians will still dispute it. He understands human beings more that his accusers, read the old testament of the Bible and see a classic case of human grudging, even to God their creator. |
The job of a man of God is to win souls for God's Kingdom, that is the mandate Jesus gave to his followers. When the devil offered him the world and its riches during the temptation in the wilderness, Jesus refused, When they wanted to make him king, he refused. So are u convinced now?? |
*She will face the law irrespective of her age — NDLEA BOSS A 60 year old grandmother, Mrs. Abimbola Remi Adebola who claims to be a national of Benin Republic has landed herself in the NDLEA cell for attempting to smuggle out of the nation's shores, a substance suspected to be heroin. Also in the net are Yessoufou Idrissou and 30 year- old trader, Umeojiaku Charity Nneka. The arrest of the suspects was made easy by the US donated body scanners at the MMIA which prevented the three suspected drug traffickers from smuggling 2.960kg of heroin into America. The three suspects were to board a Delta Airline flight to Atlanta from the Murtala Mohammed International Airport (MMIA), Lagos when operatives of National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), ended their trip and apprehended them. Mrs. Abimbola Remi Adebola a 1971 Ordinary Diploma holder in Secretarial Administration from Ibadan Polytechnic then said that financial difficulty forced her into the criminal act. She was found to have ingested 140 wraps of substances that tested positive to heroin weighing 825 grammes on April 2, 2010. According to the grandmother who had a boutique in Abuja, her shop and house were demolished by the FCT authority and she was duped the sum of 2.8 million naira. She has three children, two boys and a girl and her eldest son is 35 years. “In fact, I was a laughing stock because I lost everything. My problem started in 2005 when my shop at Ladoke Akintola and my house at Chika in Abuja were demolished. I was also duped 2.8 million naira by swindlers that promised to sell a low cost house to me in 2006. Even my son that graduated and completed youth service since 2006 is still searching for a job. In 2007, I could no longer afford my rent in Abuja and I was ejected. All these forced me into drug trafficking because there was no one to help. I swallowed 140 wraps of heroin in a hotel in Lagos and was given 1,000 dollar part payment. I would have been given a balance of 4,000 dollars on successful delivery” Abimbola stated. She hails from Illesha in Osun State. Sharing the same fate is Umeojiaku Charity Nneka who was arrested on the same flight with Mrs. Abimbola. Charity swallowed 100 pieces of substance that tested positive to heroin weighing 1.170 kg. She also used to own a boutique at Oshodi before the demolition. According to her, in November last year, she met a lady that introduced her to the drug business. “Since the demolition of my shop at Oshodi, life has been difficult. Last November, this lady talked to me about drugs and promised to reward me handsomely that was how I agreed to carry the drugs. I even contributed 200,000 naira to the deal that would have turned my life around. I swallowed the drugs in a hotel at Aguda, Lagos,” she stated. Following Charity Nneka is Yessoufou Idrissou from neighboring Benin Republic. He was not lucky as he too was nabbed by NDLEA officers during the screening of passengers on Delta Airline flight to Atlanta, United States. Idrissou, a father of two children stated that he ingested 65 wraps of narcotics in a hotel for a fee of 8,000 dollars. “I owe debts of 1.8 million naira and needed to use the money to service my debt and start something to assist my family” Idrissou stated. Reacting over the arrest, the Chairman of the NDLEA Ahmadu Giade described the action of Mrs. Abimbola Remi Adebola as 'shameful and disgraceful'. He reiterated his determination to stop illicit drug syndicates from using Nigeria as a transit country. Giade said that all the suspects will be charged to court in accordance with the NDLEA Act. “As we go after members of drug cartels no accomplice will be spared, the age notwithstanding. Our target is to frustrate drug barons through prompt interception of their drugs as well as diligent prosecution of accused persons” the NDLEA boss stressed. The NDLEA Airport Commander Alhaji Hamza Umar said that investigation has since commenced into the arrests and promised to bring all the culprits to book. However, preliminary investigation has revealed that members of the syndicates use ladies in recruiting drug mules. Hamza therefore urged members of the public to report any person suspected to be working for drug barons to the nearest NDLEA office. |
Jesus they claim to follow said his kingdom is not of this world, why can't they focus on feeding the sheep of the lord instead of dabbling into politics? I won't be surprised that our men of God will soon be declaring their interest to contest for President. MISPLACED PRIORITY! |
America is gradually roping Africa into their religious war. Obama's Africom ideology is taking shape. Colonization again! |
Did she ask u say all these?? |
Ednaline how do we hook up in Abuja, can u tell me where to locate you? |
underemployment= unemployment. some graduates collect 10k per month. do you call that a job? |
The crowd can be converted to something more lucrative. We pursue to much white collar jobs here in Nigeria. Imagine a Nigeria Association of Unemployed Graduates organizing various sport competition to support themselves. The sport ministry will give them the Abuja stadium for free. |
kobikwelu:The exam will be cancelled the lucky ones have been chosen, while others write the exam in vain. INEC need to be sued, it's just that Nigeria lacks a vibrant youth organization
