Why are these fowls transported in this barbaric manner? Are there no cages in Nigeria? Animal rights activists in Nigeria should rise up for these poor chickens!

Twin brothers in armed robbery, products of failed family! |
Identical twins were among robbery suspects arrested by the police in Ibadan, Oyo State, on Wednesday. While parading the suspects, the state’s Commissioner of Police, Baba Adisa Bolanta, said the gang had confessed to being responsible for most of the robbery incidents in Idi-Osan-Mosfala . According to the police, on July 31, one of the twins, Akeem Yisau (aka Olobo), came to a street at Mosfala area, after visiting hours to ask for a police corporal. “When the police corporal was called and he denied knowing the person, he asked to talk to him on phone. While talking to him, the suspect mentioned another person whom the corporal also called to confirm. The person, who is an Army officer, also denied knowing him, but suggested that he could be one of the people that assisted him in building his house,” the Commissioner of Police explained further. Since neither of the two people he mentioned could identify him, the night guards took him to the Ogbere police station. The following morning, some members of the suspect’s gang came to attack the Vice Chairman of the landlord association, Jelili Durojaye Ramoni, who led the guards. He was said to have been shot and severely wounded. He later died. The gang returned to ask for the police corporal’s and army officer’s house. Meaning business Mr. Bolanta told journalists that each time they came, they shot sporadically in the air to let the residents know that they meant business. He added that this prompted the corporal to alert the police headquarters, where it was ordered that the detained suspect’s matter be transferred to the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) unit of the state Crime Investigation Division (CID). “On interrogation in the night, the suspect led us to the house of the leader. We did not meet the leaders their, as the wife said he was out in the night. But while the policemen were returning, they met them on the road where the gang opened fire on the police. In the process, one of them was killed and others were injured,” said Mr. Bolanta. The police said the gang comprises of nine members, besides one that was killed, seven were arrested, while one is still at large. The other six arrested yesterday were Adegbo Arise, Olamilekan Ayoola, Nojeem Okunade(aka Tanfeku), Abioye Yinka, Kehinde Oluwole and Taye Oluwole. Mr. Bolanta said the gang confessed that they were searching for the police corporal and army officer, to kill them as a way of ensuring smooth operations within the neighbourhood.

When UN paints the developed world with grey color what do u expect? who are the UN? the only thing they see and have succeeded in making the developing world to believe is poverty and disease , so all their research and documentary centers on that. The developed world will always look for a bad report about others |
Take a look at his face properly, he reminds me of someone recovering from imbecility. If his father was gay, will he ever be on this earth? The plane he will take to come back to Africa to promote gay rights will crash and only him and his gay group will die in the crash. Is not normal; GAYS ARE UNDER DEMONIC INFLUENCE! |

this is what u said: philip0906:. .http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slum Look out 4 that part dat says-"Slums were eradicated in the industralised world in the 20th century"this is what wiki said: A slum, as defined by the United Nations agency UN-HABITAT, is a run-down area of a city characterized by substandard housing and squalor and lacking in tenure security. According to the United Nations, the proportion of urban dwellers living in slums decreased from 47 percent to 37 percent in the developing world between 1990 and 2005.[3] However, due to rising population, the number of slum dwellers is rising. One billion people worldwide live in slums[4] and the figure will likely grow to 2 billion by 2030.[5] |
If slums were eradicated in the 20th century; then where are the former slum dwellers living? In the white house? Please give me a break! Some of you from Nigeria that get to the USA one way or the other and defending USA against slum are those that left the slums in their country; and instead of them to think of how to return and eradicate the slums, have concluded to remain in USA forever and claiming Nigeria from the internet, the mere mention of slum scares the shit out of them and will wish that all slums should just disappear in a jiffy and everywhere should look like Buckingham palace. Guys wake up to reality, if u think slums don't exist, drive round town and ask questions. |
Depilot:So what is ur point now ![]() |
To control the air-car is the simplest thing. Just recruit witches from Naija as air police, they fly faster than Boeing 747, talk more of one new toy car. These witches fly on groundnut peel to america in a second to kill a victim and back to their coven at 29 million naira per one, the first 1000 cars from the production line will be ordered by national assembly members,as the amount is a chicken change to them, and the car will afford them the chance to dodge all the people they made fake political promises to. |
O boy why u dey do us like this na! if u want make we dey pay for early release tell us abeg! the tory too sweet oh! |
^^ Need is need and is relative, even Obama has an urgent need for something as we are talking. The point of the argument is for those who thinks a particular country is a complete paradise and take a hike in plane tryre just to go to USA to think wise Agreed that the slum in USA cannot be compared to the ones in Nigeria, tell me what other things are comparable in the two country? is it governance, transportation system, health care or what? The fact that USA is over 200 year old and a place like Nigeria is just 50 shows that Nigeria in the next 150 years will be better than US by THEN! Mark my word when you'll be browsing the internet from the great beyond then! |

more slums, they don't exist only in Nigeria
|
For those that think slums exist only in the third world |
Detroit, Michigan USA Population: Less than 1 million and dropping. Worst Feature: Rats, Crack Addicts, and love-peddlers – and that’s just among the elected officials Best Feature: Home to the Worlds Only Floating Post Office Lest you start to think that all of the Worst Cities to live are in foreign countries, we have plenty of places that suck right here in the Good Ol’ US of A… and Detroit, Michigan is probably the worst of the worst. Detroit holds the distinction of currently being the most dangerous city in the nation. More than 30% of its residents live below the poverty level. Abandoned buildings and garbage and vermin infested vacant lots cover an unoccupied area roughly the size of San Francisco. Detroit has lost almost half of its population since the 1950’s, and as if “living” in Detroit weren’t bad enough, even the dead are leaving as more and more people are digging up relatives that are buried in Detroit and moving them elsewhere, just so they do not have to risk their own lives by returning to the city to pay their respects!

Something similar to the ANC in South Africa. I doubt if it will work in Nigeria due to people's indifference to politics. An average Nigeria believes power belongs to the ruling class and there nothing they can do about it. |
The two arms of the National Assembly – the Senate and the House of Representatives, today passed the harmonized version of the Electoral Bill 2010. The Bill will now be sent to President Goodluck Jonathan for his assent into law. The new electoral law addresses several of the complaints that have plagued Nigeria’s political and electoral system, including the issues of internal democracy in the parties, electoral adjudication, party financing, campaign funding, electoral offences, etc. http://placng.org/index.php/component/content/article/59-national-assembly-passes-new-electoral-act- |
I read a short book by Chinua Achebe titled"The problem with Nigeria" written in the early 80ties; the man was lamenting about the state of the Nation then and was very hopeful that by the turn of the millennium that the country will be better; Ten years into the millennium and still counting, the nation is worse than before; No wonder the man left Nigeria for US. it's disheartening. |
If Biafra should materialize, is it the likes of Orji Uzo Kalu, Chris Uba, Mbadinuju, Chimaroke that'll be leading the people? |
Naija blood is already in every tribe, so breaking away will not remove the looting of public treasury in the new Biafra State, if anything, it will get worse! |
