i dont c any big issue wit abortion. if d lady doesn't want it, then out it goes.
why did she not use a condom? abortion is the result of the highest form of irresponsibility. |
Rashidi Yekini is a proof that talent is never enough. most times education takes you further. |
RichyBlacK:posts like this refresh the soul. There is nothing more to add. If you are old and intelligent enough to have intimacy without a condom wilfully, be intelligent enough to have the baby if you take in. My only problem with some pro life folks is that they refuse abortion and in the same breath preach abstainence. That is hypocricy of the highest level. |
moderator, pls delete the picture urgently. It is inhuman. Those animals taking fotos with there camera phones there are sick. may my enemies never see this sort of thing. I do not even wish this on Turai. This is sickening. |
this thread make me laugh die no be small, the biggest mistake Mikel made was not going to Chelsea, it was signing for a Mourinho team. The same way Anderson made a grave mistake coming to United when Fergie was in need of a defensive midfielder/box to box midfielder. I saw Mikel in 05 in Holland. I remember wiping out my mobile from my pocket calling my friend and saying "that Mikel boy, he is all that and more". the lad had great vision, seemed to find extra time on the ball,a good dribbler and penetrative defence splitting passes. after years in Mourinho's drill room, the boy is wrecked.unnecessarily bulky, tentative on the ball, completely unimaginative and negative minded in passing. If Mourinho had not converted him to def midfield, Fergie would have been regretting today as he is still looking for a replacement for Paul Scholes wnich is what Mikel was to be groomed for. For those talking about 16 million and 4 million pounds, that is a transfer fee.it goes from the buying club to the selling club.the agent might take a cut and rarely does the player get a cut as their is often a sign on fee for him which is separate from this fee. |
Father i love you my heart is fixed with desires to see Your power and glory cover the earth as the water covers the sea i am surrounded by your fortress oh God totally surrendered to you I lift up my hands standing on your word i worship you Father exalting your name You've captured my heart now my life has changed I lift up my hands, |
the guy should be careful o! Na capital punishment for Malaysia for carrying drugs o. Nothing like say weed is natural and all that kind argument. Capital punishment,no appeal. |
our sources said, our sources confirmed, close sources indicated. I am sick and tired of all this. grown men and women just cook up stories while relishing Odeku and isi ewu in beer parlours and pass it off to a traumatized nation as investigative journalism. anyway, that is what you get when a country is ruled by a cabal whose expertise are lies, deceit and rumours. I am taking a wide berth from this section of the forum and this whole Yar Adua story in the entire media. Whatever wants to happen, after it happens, all eyes shall behold it. i am sick and tired. |
riversman:don't mind Sahara.pls ask your aunty to give us latest info. We trust her more than all these yeye Sahara guys. |
Timipre Sylva deserves it!. . . . I just hope they are not clearing space for Timi Alaibe. . . that would be from the frying pan into the fire. Ibime, na so e go be o! that guy will just sell off the state for good. the worst thing is that EFCC will not caatch him cos he is too smart. |
ROSSIKE:I have said it before and i say it again, Nigeria's biggest problem is not corruption. Corruption is just a symptom of the real problem. There is corruption everywhere. It is in America, just like it is in Equitorial Guinea. The reason why it seems worst in Nigeria and the rest of Africa is a lack of systems to ensure that our political class is not comprised entirely of crooks, inept and clueless shady characters and also a lack of institutional systems to ensure an enthronement of the rule of law, accountability and order. Bush et al will do worse in the Nigerian landscape. As long as we have a system that throws up these sort of leaders in entirety and the lack a system that ensures a strict application of laws and order and lack a way of making our leaders truly accountable, corruption will continue to thrive exceedingly. A million Ribadus will not stop it and even a revolution will only breed a new set of Iboris and Odilis after a short while. |
Myself2:I go with this line of argument. Dele is a lesser crook than Nduka. The Duke is a boss in this game. |
Beaf:KNOW WHEN TO CONQUER YOURSELF, so when will Jonathan conquer himself? he seems trapped in docility and ineptitude. how did david mark enter this discussion? Jonathan should conquer himself and step up to the plate. This time fate will not act on his behalf (Yar Adua will not be declared ead any time soon, if that is what he is hoping for). Dude,i am off to bed.enjoy the rest of the day and remind Jonathan to conquer himself. the nation awaits. |
Beaf:on the basis of the phrase in bold, i give up. posterity will judge whose argument is derived from a beer parlour. |
^^^^ you mistake ineptitude and docility for tactical intelligence. how many times will i point this out to you? you seem irredeemable. i leave you to your belief. Like i said earlier, time is an awesome judge. unfortunately, his verdict in this case might be all consuming. |
I am begining to see sense in Dora's argument. However i never discounted the argument in the first place. my problem is cynical. We have been down this route in the past. someone comes with a passionate argument that serves the intent of the larger society. at the end they are shown up to be serving a selfish interest that leaves us all further impoverished. How are we sure that Dora is for real? that she does not have a personal agenda in the offing? they always do and unfortunately, i am unwilling to believe her at present. |
mikeansy:gbam !!! |
Gbawe:gbam!! |
instead IBB, Turai should step in. it is that bad. ![]() |
Who said Maga no need pay? NFF are the real magas and these white tramps are the new Yahoo Yahoo. The man is just here on a tourist adventure. He has absolutely nothing to lose and everything to gain. sick nation with thieving leaders. |
arkinses:you seem to be mixing things up. the guy's english is not even good enough. the reporters omitted the grammatical error et al. but i do not think his lack of a good grasp of english takes anything away from him as an artiste. there are loads of American artistes that can't speak english to save their lives. forget all those 'you know' and 'men' they mix up with profanities. if they can make it,even with very little talent, then the sky is the limit for tuface. i have no problem with him speaking pidgin, as long as he manages to speak english with little grammatical bombs and does not pretend to be what he is not (speaking with a non existent accent). Musical is a universal language after all. Tuface, speak your pidgin dey go. Nothing dey happen. |
he must have attended the Peter Odili school of governorship. although that one was not short in stature. The man (Odili) is a case study in destructive Narcissism. I believe his crave for publicity bothered on insanity. I doubt Akpabio is as bad.If he is, then Akwa Ibomies are in trouble. |
This R.S.A. Of a boy is just wasting his time here posting pics of SA knowing very well that nobody cares about it.
dude, speak for yourself and yourself alone. |
halala Mzansi !!!! It is a breathtaking country indeed. I am only scare that Hot Msholozi and his fellow idiots will ruin this country in record time. It is disheartening. |
Beaf:i would not ascribe importance to Turai and her children that were sold like pieces of meat in the name of politics under the pretext of marriage, by discussing them. They are not worth it. i will be glad if you could provide links to the foreign articles you allude to, that are praising Jonathan's 'rare' attributes. I would love to be enlightened in that regard. |
Beaf:sometimes you amaze me with the sorts of comments you make. I wonder whether you make comments in jest or for the sake of sarcasm. how does a sane and supposedly intelligent person make the sort of comments in bold? what incredible qualities does he have? Docility? ineptitude? or is it having a corrupt wife? What quality does Jonathan have that any sighted person can term incredible, by any stretch of imagination? accomplish a free and fair election?Jonathan can never recognise such an election even if it strikes him in the face like thunder!! How can a man who has been an accomplice to fraud and rascality his entire political career conduct a free and fair election? pull Obama on a state visit?dude you must be kidding right? Obama is roasting in his own stew at present and has much more important issues to deal with than worry about irritants like Nigeria.Me think we,Nigerians exaggerate our importance too much. Which world leaders visited?Bush, Condo and Clinton that came here on money making ventures to collect top dollars from Nduka Obiagbena, you mean? Make no mistake Jonathan is a better mess than this ultimate mess we find ourselves in presently but he and his accomplices are mess all the same. He is not the messiah but all we hope is that he will quit this docility you call tactical intelligence and take a position for the first time in his political career. I am not holding my breath!!!! |
'our sources' my ass!!! this story was cooked up in a beer parlour. absolute crap!!! |
desthan:ol boy you go need plenty packets for South o! the babes are too bad there. |
With new artists like Kel, Illbliss, MI, Wande Coal, Bracket, Omawunmi, Sleek, Deebee having the charts all to themselves last year & consequently outshining the already established acts like P square, Styl plus, 9ice etc. One is inclined to think that this year might be no different as there are a lot of upcoming acts waiting on the sidelines to have the torch passed on to them. 9jahiphop will be taking a look at 10 of the most promising ones that might come out on top in 2010. PLUS ONE - COMMERCIAL CLASS Chances are high that the naija music scene might get bracket-ed again, not by the yori yori boys but by these talented brothers. When you are confronted by the talent of the boy group plus one, two thoughts come readily to your mind, 1. P square was probably thinking of them when they recorded “danger” and 2. This is surely the end of Styl Plus. With the SARS & Puffy T produced “tinkonko” (supported by a Clarence peters video) already taking them places they never imagined and the follow up single “yaa ya” bubbling beneath the surface, 2010 might just be their year. MO CHEDDAH - THE FRANCHISE CELEBRITY The first lady of knighthouse and undoubtedly the brightest female talent in the naija music industry successfully crafted one of the biggest hooks of 2009 on knighthouse’s first single “the finest” and didn’t stop there as she kept the fire burning with her singles “shampoo” & “if you want me”. Not one to rest on her laurels she released a free Christmas mixtape “true Christmas” for her growing fan base and her hard work didn’t go unnoticed as she graced the cover of the December edition of true love magazine. What sets her apart from the crowd is her versatility as she can croon with the best of them and at the same time deliver mind blowing rap lines. All eyes are on her as she prepares to release her eclectic debut. DR SID - TURNING POINT Compared to every other artist on this list, Dr Sid is a veteran. The dentist turned rapper started his career with Trybe records and cut his teeth under Eldee, Freestyle & Kaboom, While his fellow label mates Del & Timi fell off along the road to stardom, Sid remained focused, stayed true to the game & kept on grinding until he finally succeeded in finagling a record deal out of Don jazzy and ever since has been playing a major part in the rise & rise of mohits records. Sid’s major strength lies in his ability to identify his weakness hence opting for the singing route on his debut LP after the lukewarm response to his singles “something about you”, “when this song comes on” & “pops something”. Knowing that this might be his last chance will definitely make him pull out all the stops to make his debut hot. MAYE HUNTA - MAYEFESTATION Maye Hunta burst on the scene late last year with the housegirl/master relationship dilemma song "ekaete" which has since found a home on the charts. As if that is not enough, the follow up single “owo faaji” is steadily gaining momentum after been released to radio stations nationwide and is getting major spins in clubs. If things go according to plan then Maye Hunta might have the number one album spot all to himself in the coming months. TIMI DAKOLO – TIMI Timi wouldn’t have been on this list if the organizers of idols West Africa had kept their promises. After winning the maiden edition in 2007, Timi sat back thinking his dreams were about to come true until 2009 when he finally realized that he had been a victim of corporate maga & then decided to take matters into his own hands. Hooking up with Cobhams was a fruitful venture that resulted in the release of two singles “heaven please” featuring MI & “I love you” featuring Jesse Jagz which has been receiving massive airplay & has set the stage for the release of his self titled debut album. GENERAL PYPE – TBD It is one thing to sound like Sean Paul, it’s another thing to release an album like “dutty rock” & be as successful as he is. The self proclaimed 7 star general started his steady climb up the naija music ladder by notching up guest appearances on songs such as Sasha’s “strong thing”, MI’s “teaser”, Illbliss’s “blessing”, Sheyman’s “showa”, Jahbless’s “street rules (remix)” & Bigiano’s “its over” just to mention a few and has further more solidified his hold on the music scene with the release of two blazing singles “keep it cool” & “champion”. With the latter already topping radio & video charts nationwide, General Pype’s debut is already shaping up to be one of the biggest debuts of the year. VECTOR - THE STATE OF SURPRISE In Nigeria we have the state of harmony, the state of the living spring and 34 other states, so it is understandable when people are shocked at the mention of the state of surprise. Maybe it is the 37th state where vector hails from or the hip hop mindstate where he currently resides, we will find out soon enough as the young cat prepares to unleash his debut album on the unsuspecting public. The MC who has kept his buzz strong by appearing on Bigiano’s shayo (remix), Paul play’s smoking and J.martins’s good & bad (remix) has also leaked some songs from his upcoming album like “Kilode” (ft Emmsong), “warm n close” (ft Ade piper) & “I love Nigeria”. In addition, his freestyle on jimmy’s jumpoff & his DJ mighty mike exclusive certainly boosted his street credibility. JESSE JAGZ – TBD After successfully producing the album that propelled his brother (MI) to the pinnacle of the crowded naija rap game, Jesse Jagz swung into action immediately by jumping on tracks off MI’s “illegal music” mixtape and guest appearing on Djinee’s “overkilling (remix)”, Darey’s “style na style (remix)”, Timi dakolo’s “I love you” & Rooftop MC’s “sitting on the roof top”. Not one to let an opportunity pass him by, the J-town MC took full advantage of the chocolate city movement to drop “pump it up” & “jagga swagga” off his upcoming untitled debut project. When his album finally drops we will see just how far his brother’s fame and the vocoder have taken him. YQ – TBD When you think of YQ, think of Wande Coal before M2M (raw talent). YQ hit the mainstream in 09 courtesy of his cameos on songs like Knighthouse’s “ijinle pam pam”, Kel’s “turn by turn” Naeto C’s “duro” & 2 shotz’s “oyoyo”. The man renowned for crafting ingenious hooks also released 2 singles “I like girls”, "money can't buy me love" & “efimile” featuring Da grin off his upcoming debut album and the latter even got him a nomination in the last edition of hip hop world awards. With a solid foundation already laid for his career & with the right direction, YQ might just be naija’s next superstar. BEAZY - TBD If you thought MI was good, wait till you listen to beazy. If the naija music scene was the NBA, then be would have been the draft pick of the year. With 2 critically acclaimed mixtapes under his belt, “the affidavit” & “get money, stay fly”, beazy's debut album is definitely something to look forward to. The London based MC makes your favorite MCs sound like amateurs. Armed with witty punch lines, sharp wordplay & fierce delivery, I guess it is safe to say beazy’s music is hip hop at its finest and he will be right up there with the best when his untitled debut album drops. |

. Rather, there are several Western articles that do that, and quite a few are totally gushing with praise for his "rare" attributes. The foreign perception is rapidly crystalising as one of the good guy against evil. It is also reflecting in diplomatic attitudes.
