Well if i was who cares? Doesnt change the truth that Akunyili is a corrupt thief and is using that memo to pool a wool on the eyes of Nigerians and claim some sort of integrity
my point exactly.

SEFAGO:
LOL, I am saying the obvious- Dora already knows that she is serving in a corrupt government so why is she complaining? She knows her memo will come to nothing and she is just using it to generate publicity, please tell me why she did that memo? Why didnt she join the protesters

Man all of you are funny, the corrupt b.i.tch is taking y'all for a ride
apart from me.
i will not suck up to all these propaganda.

@ adigun 101,
if you were in Dora's shoes and you were offered the position of Information Minister for Yaradua will you accept it?

Sixmartgp:
I have to say I am disappointed with some comments on this forum about Dora's steps. Instead of us to be praising her for this courageous move, some people are calling her a liar and other names. She probably took the most difficult decision that no other official in Yardua's cabinet could take and we are abusing her. Do you know that even the VP does not have the guts to make this decision. Imagine you work for a company as an MD and you are on salary arrangements. Your CEO has been out for 73 days. How many of you as an employer collecting Salary from your CEOs company can actually wake up and write a memo that your CEO should hand over since he has been on vacation for 73 days. She has risked a political career and she has risked her life. Nigerians, applaud her,
Where is the proof that she even said it?
'confirmed sources' and 'inside sources'. the same sources that said Yar Adua signed the budget and was flying home last week, abi?
the way propaganda and rumours have taken over the political space is amazing.
no one is even taking a minute to ask sensible questions and seek credible sources. every gist is considered to be true until another gist surfaces to displace the old one.
anyway, this what happens when a government is run based on cabals, inner caucus and intrigues.
the deciet and secrecy of this government will topple it.

@mbulela u are just a naïve and an educated illitreate who does not know and does not know that you don't know. What has she done wrong for 70 days do u think national politics is the kind of nonsense u engage in here. She has to 1st nd foremost giv d president d benefit of doubt and time to recover then she should hav consulted wide b4 comin up with dat memo.
If it took her 70 days so be it better late than never and hot soup is never rushed and a fly on the testicle is not struck with a sledge hammer.
so you comments (insults) to Aloy and i prove you are an educated literate, abi?
people express there views (sometimes even in jest),the proof of your education should be made manifest in your disagreeing with them intelligently and devoid of insults.
Insulting people just shows your true worth.

huh

Abeg clarify when your eyes don clear !
my eye don clear now. grin
The impression she created at NAFDAC was just a smokescreen.
she has found her true level amongst hypocrites and charlatans.
When Adedibu said she was begging him to intervene on her behalf for a ministerial appointment, everyone laughed him off now the truth is known.
There is no proof to back up the report, every one is saying 'informed sources' said.I am think the story might have been planted by her aides.
Most nigerians think that the real Dora was the NAFDAC one and that she is presently acting out of character, i believe the opposite.
did she just wake up from her slumber?
where has she been these past 70 days?
after defending the ineptitude of this sick govt in public, why does she have to voice her new found sanity in secret?
they are all liars and hypocrites and Dora is no different.

only an idiot will believe this.
the case of that woman is long lost.
their is no redemption for her. This is her true self.
she is realising her dreams.
if you doubt it go and wake up Adedibu and ask him.

there will be no sanity until you name and shame.
it might be abused but when it will be a first step in the right direction.

the only difference is that the islamic one is centered around killings and violence and nothing else.

If a man like Jimi Agbaje complains about Fashola, i will listen to him but for you to make a statement and include Tinubu, misappropriation and accountability in one sentence about Fashola, diminishes the strength of your argument.
i have stated my view on this Fashola matter on another thread.i am not one of those who is blinded by his charm but the fact is that the myth called Tinubu is stifling the growth of Lagos state and the earlier he is cut to size the better fro the people of Lagos state.
Politics › Re: Fashola & Mega Corruption The True Face Of Lagos (part 1) by mbulela: 6:06am On Feb 01, 2010
All I know is that Fashola dey chop like other Nigerian thieves in power even though he spends a percentage of his loot on the state he is rulining.  Marwa stole and bought himself an airline, Bola Tinubu converted Lagos state to his private property and I am sure he is fighting with his boy Fashola because the  guy no gree make them loot the state clean. I am sure Fashola suggested they loot only 30% while he is insisting on looting 95%.
Tinubu is an active career criminal and he begat Fashola. The question remains for anyone here to answer: How can a Tiger give birth to a butterfly?

Fashola is smart because he knows that the day of reckoning is very near in Nigeria. The fear of the new  EFCC which will soon arise will  be  the beginning of wisdom.
you have restored my belief in the intelligence of the members of this forum.
In a humorous way, you have made plain the intricacies involved in this squabble that many have spent pages of newspaper articles pontificating.
I will listen to any genuine accuser of Fashola but not Tinubu, he has no right to accuse BRF.He is the worst of the barbarians.
I just hope this fight will go full scale and destroy the myth called BAT.
The man is a fraud.
Why Fashola has not booted out that charlatan called Afikuyomi beats me.
anyone looking for a saint in the Nigerian political space is a joker and completely deluded.
what we need are men and women that will loot with a conscience, who have a vision to perform and the will to execute that vision.
at present, we are saddled with crooks with no other intention but to empty the treasury.
Don't always say it as if Mode is a paragon of morals. What was he "eulogizing" in big boy raps? And how "poetical" is his song with OD(downtown love or sumn) in his 090909 mix tape?
You can argue it from now till eternity but i think it is fool hardy to hold a musician/rapper responsible for what their fans/listeners do.
Are you for real? You mean the same fuji artists that make music about travelling outside Nigeria and singing to a crowd of 10 people?Or is Saheed Osupa that releases album for every car he hires/buys or every house he rents/builds not a fuji musician?
lol

i disagree with him.
he does not give any evidence for his assertion.just claiming that 9ice and wife have refused to show proof for their separation is a silly basis for denying the reality of the separation.
anyway, me i no too send for 9ice, i always assumed his new album will be a fluke after the success of gongo aso.
he is massively talented as a singer but i feel there are lots of missing critical attributes that he lacks as an artiste.
anyway i wish the couple the best.

besides that other one is in the right section, this one is wrongly placed on the politics board.
This is not consistency. This thread ought to be deleted or locked.

@ poster, you never ask whether me i dey do the thing sef.
there is way too much personal info on the web.
the less sites i belong to the better.
you just can't be careful enough.
if i am looking for a long lost friend, i ask someone who is on FB to send him a message giving him my email add.
if no one to help me do that, i forget it.
somehow you will find the friend or someone who knows him.
In my view FB is too much trouble.
there is email, phone numbers and all that.those are enough for me.
even Nairaland is enough wahala for me.
