coogar: every animal can be tamed..... fergie used to be a good man manager but he's having his wires-crossed these days! the single most important question is - what did morrison want? he wanted first team football - and you cannot tell me he's not class above the others in the reserves! he's been as good as cleverley since 2010! fergie kept him with the little boys for far too long - there comes a time when a youngster want more than being kept on a leash. morrison didn't feel the need to train or turn up for sessions any longer - the drive and hunger was lost....even when he turned up, he still played better than his peers who trained all week! he wanted a new challenge, a bigger/tougher challenge - fergie was not interested in giving him that challenge and talks broke down between his agent and man utd!
i still think we could have managed his issues much better - dude is a progidy! Fergie is no God. forget prodigy, lad is mentally unstable. I don't understand how you are defending the boy. Even his agent knows he has a mad man on his books. Not every prodigy is meant to make it. Ravel is one of those. Talent is not the only requirement for breaking into the 1st team. lad did not have the other qualities needed. He just was not it. Do you know of the havocs he caused in Carrington that did not even make their way into the media? I repeat apart from God,no one else can save that boy. Even Fergie sef get limit. By the way, talk did not break down between his agent and Utd. The staff at united just could not bear it any longer and the club decided to cut the tie. |

coogar: we didn't let pogba go? all the empty promises fergie made that wasn't fulfilled? pogba wanted first team football as far back as 10/11 season - fergie kept playing giggs in his position and giving pogba 5 min cameo in small games......at a point, the lad got fed up then recalling scholes back from retirement meant pogba was never going to get into that senior team in a while! his agent found another club willing to give him the starting berth he craves - who would pass up such opportunity? morrison's case is also similar! what do you think would have happened to rooney @ 19 if he wasn't given a starting berth?
fergie messed up, abeg! I was seeing your point until you came to Ravel Morisson. No one apart from God could save that boy from self destructing. How many starts has he made for almighty West Ham? Pogba was a miss but not earth shattering. That midfield will remain skewed until Giggs/Scholes retire. |

dayokanu: it was a decision he made with the clock winding down that really irked Sir Alex.
Rather than take the ball into the corner flag in the dying seconds of normal time with his side in front, Nani attempted to beat a player but ended up losing possession.
That error allowed Chelsea one final counterattack, from which they would win the penalty that Eden Hazard went on to score, sending the game into an additional 30 minutes, where the Blues’ extra experience and firepower would prove decisive.
“We gave the ball away for the third goal when we had complete control of the match,” said Sir Alex. “All we needed to do was see the game out and keep possession. Nani decided to try and beat a man and lost the ball, and then it was a penalty kick.
“Nani is experienced. He’s an individual, he is a player who wants to beat men and we are not going to discourage that but in that situation if he had kept the ball in the corner flag, the game is over.”
For Sir Alex to single out Nani may appear harsh, especially when there were numerous defensive errors on show and bearing in mind he had scored a key goal himself, but patience with the ex-Sporting Lisbon man is wearing thin amongst the club’s coaches - not just with the fans on the terraces, who have been critical for some time. Dayo leave that matter o! SAF has practised the gift of long suffering in that lad called Nani. The boy cup don full tey tey. Even with his wonder goals, i will not mind seeing the back of him in January. |

The stupidity is going on air to blame Nani.. He's actually a very foolish man.. One thing I noticed was that Mata/Hazard and co looked less dangerous like when we had Carrick on the field...

Shugamania: Why do men cheat? Why does our society make it seem like it's okay for a man to cheat?? Why do our mothers tell us to turn a blind eye even when all evidences tell the story, and our friends tell us it's just their nature??
Why, when u finally find one that doesn't cheat, does everyone think he's doing the girl a favour? And why do we, the women act all meek and gentle and let them get away with it in the name of love and endurance?
My cousin's gf caught him in the act and he had the guts to tell her during the ensuing argument that he has every right to cheat cos he needs to get as many different girls as he can and compare them before he finally choses the best one to settle down with. I tried talking to him after his girlfriend left and he said ''if i wan buy garri for market sef, i no go taste different ones before i chose the one wey i go buy?'' I was so pissed... I ranted and raved and he just ignored me.
I don't blame him sha, i blame the sexist society we live in...in fact i dey vex!
Men, i need clarifications please, is it that you just find it impossible not to cheat or you enjoy hurting your partners? so at what point will he stop tasting the garri and settle for one to buy? The biggest problem with that line or argument is the fact that there is always a better tasting garri out there in the market.so where do you draw the line? It is an argument for cheating that is illogical. |

the problem would be finding anyone silly enough to pay big money for Nani. Lad is a tool. Inexpirience hurt the central defensive pair but i guess tonite was part of the learning experience. Anderson was very good and Raphael was and is a beast. I've never been a fan of Lindergad.he is just an average keeper. nothings sticks out in his play. Keane was not too bad. |

bxg: Rafael After five seasons of hosannahs and hiccups, Rafael da Silva has finally cemented his place in Manchester United's starting line-up. As all young players do and as all players do, he has made mistakes, but much of the criticism of him is besides the point. Full-backs in the better sides tend to get plenty of the ball, particularly against opponents seeking to frustrate – making them a crucial attacking option, entitled to rely on their team-mates' ability to cover when they go forward. Similarly, though Rafael can be impetuous in the tackle, his desire to get stuck-in – often after more muscular team-mates have shrunk away – is testament to his character not criticism of it; you can't sculpt heart and testicles on the bench-press. Like Anderson and Nani before him, Rafael's good form has coincidentally coincided with his consistent selection, and the manager must resist the temptation to select Phil Jones and Chris Smalling ahead of him when they return simply because they happen to be taller – a specialist is almost always better than a stop-gap. I like your cut and paste |

coogar: he cost us the game.... the 2nd goal rocked chelsea and for a moment, they were like a deer in the headlights....rafael put valencia in great positions thrice and valencia wasted every one of those chances. valencia is bizarre - he switches off once he provides one assist or a goal....a 3rd goal for us in that first half would have buried chelsea but we allowed them into the game and from then on, the deadly triumvirate of chelsea murdered us from the 35th minute!
i was very impressed with young.....his desire to run and get ahead of ivanovic was the turning point in the game. down to 10 men, chelsea got jolted a bit and that was when i expected us to reshuffle, bring on anderson or nani(dribblers) but fergie goofed n brought on that useless giggs! this is the most annoying victory we have copped! I kept wondering why Valencia was attempting to do more than the simple things he is excellent at? slowing down play and learning to dribble. DDG impressed me immensely. btw, Mata is king. |

After all Mimoko will not contest then and considering his relative naivety in politics he can build a better stronghold by then. I am still looking for an election ACN will lose and accept defeat. Why are they such sore losers? It takes a lot to make the demonic PDP look good but on the count of electoral result acceptance, ACn are sure making PDP look like saints. |
