IslamRe: Lágbájá, Hijab controversy and how Environment Influences Muslim by mcbau2020: 10:17am On Mar 26, 2021
Heavance:
Firstly, for me, I have no problem with the hijab. But you guys seem to to getting this whole thing twisted.
The controversy comes from where it is worn, a school has a uniform students adhere to. you know the uniform, and you decide to add something to it. If other parents bring in their religious things into the school, what would happen?
There is a uniform, please teach your wards to adhere to the uniform, when they get home, they can put on whatever they want to add. It's that simple.
There is a uniform that should be adhered to, i say again, there is a uniform that should be adhered to, know this and know peace.
Your wards can tie their hair with something else, as i think the hair is the main covering for ladies.
The school is not an Islamic school, and there is a uniform to be adhered to, please adhere to the uniform and change when you get home, simple.
But the school is own by Government and run with tax payers money which comprises both Muslim and Christian so everyone should have equal rights.

Funny thing about Muslims is that they insult Jesus on a daily basis but once someone calls Mohammed, they're ready to kill. angry

Imagine beheading a teacher in this own country just because of his views. This is the 2nd time in France such is happening, first was Charlie Hebdo, now this. This is so bad. embarassed

How come they're not condemning the constant killings and beheadings? Does that mean it is legal in Islam? Let's think about it.

Modified: all those quoting me and telling me Muslims can't insult Jesus because they call him Prophet Isa, how do you justify killing Christians all over the world including northern Nigeria? When Boko Haram was burning churches and killing Christians before they started attacking their own fellow muslims, didn't Shekau know that Jesus is Prophet Isa?

You are all wicked hypocrites!
You don't know what you are saying, Jesus name was mentioned in quan than even prophet Muhammad name. we Muslim believe in Jesus the son of Mary, just like any other prophets and any Muslim that doesn't believe in them is not a Muslim but the way will believed is different from Christian, we Muslim believe in all of them in entirety but we don't see then as God but messagers

What is the communication between light and darkness.

Indeed many churches have greatly deviated from Christ instructions and adopted man's doctrine to please the world.

Jonathan said something and I think most Nigerians were too timid to understand.

Stealing is not corruption.

If someone steals public fund he should be considered a thief and judged under criminal law as a common theif. When you say he is corrupt you may not likely use criminal law on them.

When embezzlement happens in private institution the culprit is usually tagged a theif with the word "Stolen" attached to whatever sum missing this gives room for such person to be considered a thief not corrupt.

If a politician steals instead of the public seeing him as a theif and be persecuted as a criminal the language changes to corruption.
you are very correct, we should always call a spade by its name which is spade, corruption is a broad term, anyone that steal or embezzle public fund should not be seen as corruption rather than thief.

Surah An-Noor, Verse 30:

Tell the believing men to lower their gaze (from looking at forbidden things), and protect their private parts (from illegal sexual acts, etc.). That is purer for them. Verily, Allah is All-Aware of what they do.

Surah An-Noor, Verse 31:

And tell the believing women to lower their gaze (from looking at forbidden things), and protect their private parts (from illegal sexual acts, etc.) and not to show off their adornment except only that which is apparent (like palms of hands or one eye or both eyes for necessity to see the way, or outer dress like veil, gloves, head-cover, apron, etc.), and to draw their veils all over Juyubihinna (i.e. their bodies, faces, necks and bosoms, etc.) and not to reveal their adornment except to their husbands, their fathers, their husband's fathers, their sons, their husband's sons, their brothers or their brother's sons, or their sister's sons, or their (Muslim) women (i.e. their sisters in Islam), or the (female) slaves whom their right hands possess, or old male servants who lack vigour, or small children who have no sense of the shame of sex. And let them not stamp their feet so as to reveal what they hide of their adornment. And all of you beg Allah to forgive you all, O believers, that you may be successful.
