I have done it before. But dear Nairalander, it was an experience with mixed feelings. I dated this babe close to two years. In the course of this affair, I discoverd that prostitutes also fall in love. I too was totally in love with this lady. She would tell me that I was the only one she has affection for; and that every other guy, "it is money for hand, back for ground". No doubt, I kind of enjoyed her the period this game lasted. But the fact remains that these people are of 'EASY VIRTUE". You can't tust them. She could f**k your friend, your brother, name it. I cannot really ask u to move on until I got to know what informed your guy's decision. Might be u have offended him and wanted to get back at u. If u truly love him, invite him for a talk, and see if u can find a solution. It is only when u are convinced that he is at fault and doesn't want to show any remorse that u can then 'bounce' him. But remember, all guys are almost the same. Like the saying goes, "a cow never knows the value of its tail until it is cut off". |

I do not see anything wrong actually. What is the crime in the first place. Are we not agitating for freedom? What about young ladies who have thrown honour to the wind by embarking on sex escapades, poking every "gadem" guy that is willing to play along. When an issue like this is brought to this forum, we should try as much as possible to treat same without sentiments. As far as I am concerned, Mike Adenuga deserves our encomiums. Here is a guy that has provided employment to thousands of Nigerians. Don't forget that, he has not been indicted by anybody. What EFCC did recently by invading his home was politically motivated (one of the numerous prices to be paid for wealth). As one of the early subscribers to glo (08055253036), I know the benefits I have been getting from the network. From glowing with pride, I now rule my world. The Bull has empowered our local artistes such as Daddy Showkey etc. He introduced the idea of using our local artistes instead of rushing to South Africa to gather people for a simple advert. This is aside other invaluable contributions he is still making to his beloved country. This man truely deseves all the accolades we can accord him. We cannot afford to pull him down |

I had this experience recently. What I did was to sit the blonde down; and i started like this: "u know that i used to love u, but I have come to realize that it can't work anymore". I mustered all the courage to explain the reasons behind my actions but in a very matured manner. At the end sha, she saw reasons. But I must say it took her a lot of time to get over it despite all my efforts to make her feel that i still care as an "ordinary" friend. |
