There is no point playing hard. Besides, it can never be described as a period to study whoever you want to date, afterall, you could still study someone in the course of dating. To me, playing hard is as good as saying "ì don't like''. But these days it is expected that you should be able to say what you want and stop the rigmarole. But lying helps sometimes. For instance, one day I got to my office very early in the morning and wanted to use the phone which my boss had always warned us against. After making the call, I decided to dial his number so that it will show as the last dialed number in case he would check dialled numbers. But unfortunately, all attempts to stop the call failed. The next thing was his voice I heard asking me who was on the line from the office. Now, telling him the truth would not only attract his anger but he would also conclude that, it is the way I have been making calls with the phone. In a situation like that, does the truth really matter?

It is often said and believed by many that saying the truth actually sets someone free. But some people also feel that lying especially on minor issues protects one from some sort of harm. One person was even quoted as saying that ''to tell the truth always is a noble idea but often boring". Could it be that we prefer lie to truth? What are the consequencies of speaking what is not true. Does it really matter if we tell the truth or not? In a situation where you have to lie to save a relationship, what will you do? Immagine your babe coming home to tell that she slept your friend but just couldn't bear the guilt in her mind and just want to free her mind by telling you the truth. What are the factors behind lying?
