My people, I need your advice… I am the one involved!
My cousin (male) came home last Christmas looking for a wife, I told him about my girlfriend and we agreed to invite her over so that he can see her. At last he liked her, collected her phone number from me, though I told her before doing that.
But here is the deal between me and him, he made it clear to me never to disclose what he does for a living to her now, but rather I should tell her he is a security man living in Mushin… ( note: he is a rich business man but he is afraid to disclose his identity now, because according to him, he is looking for a lady that will love him for whom he is and not for what he is)…
They met, he told her the same thing, after everything she came to me to know whether it’s true, I told her yes… But she should give him a chance, and try to know him very well… She told me she wasn’t interested, not ready for marriage yet, I tried all my best to convince her but to no avail, I let go!
Later he found another lady, paid her bride price last February, they are planning for their traditional marriage soon..
Now, I don’t know how my girlfriend ran into him and discovered he is a rich business guy… She called me yesterday afternoon and gave me the insult of my life. Her reason is that I shouldn’t have lied to her in the first place, knowing fully well we are friends… that a friend is not supposed to lie to a friend… Her sisters called me and told me the same thing. But when I tried to explain things, they hung the phone on me..
I am planning to go over to their place today to explain things to her sisters and apologize too, but my own sisters are still with the opinion that I did nothing wrong..
What do you think? Did I do the right or the wrong thing?

Tragedy struck at the Upper Iweka Roundabout in the commercial city of Onitsha, Anambra State, on Sunday when a fuel tanker rammed into a building and caused an inferno.
It was gathered that no fewer than 50 persons, including a pregnant woman and some children, were burnt by the fire, which also consumed about 15 buses.
Our correspondents learnt that some “ newspaper free readers”, at newsstands were among the victims.
Eyewitnesses said that one of the buses was loading passengers in a park near the scene of the incident when the flames consumed it and three motorcycles at about 3pm.
One of them, who gave his name simply as Okechukwu, said the driver of the tanker was descending the Upper Iweka Road from the Enugu-Nkpor Road when he lost control of the vehicle.
He added, “We learnt that the tanker suffered a brake failure and the driver lost control.
“I think he tried to stop the vehicle with some of the barriers on the road, but unfortunately the tanker rammed into a building and fell.”
Okechukwu said the tanker caught fire 10 minutes after ramming into the building. He added that the tanker was on its way to Asaba in Delta State when the incident happened.
It was gathered that the inferno attracted many residents of the city who were helpless. Many of them reportedly resorted to crying.
Another eyewitness, Joseph Ugwuanyi, on his Facebookpage wrote, “At about 1pm to 2pm, a fuel tanker rammed into the busy Asaba Park in Upper Iweka Road, Onitsha, and went up in flames, maiming scores. The fire lasted for approximately an hour before firefighters were able to control it.
“Many of us initially thought there were no casualties, though some people sustained serious injuries while fleeing the scene.
“However, it was later learnt after the fire subsided that there was a massive carnage of victims who were either caught unawares or those who were already seated in the now charred buses in the park.
“They reportedly were burnt beyond recognition in the hour-long intense fire.”
The Anambra State Commissioner of Police, Hosea Karma, who visited the scene of the incident with senior police officers of the command, could be seen directing the evacuation of the charred remains of the victims.
As of 5.15pm, charred bodies were still being evacuated from the area by security and para-military operatives as well as officers of the Federal Road Safety Corps.
Karma described the incident as “tragic and unfortunate.”
He said the tanker was coming from Oguta Road and was trying to link up with Owerri Road when the driver lost control .
The Commissioner of Police said, “All the persons inside the buses ─ I think about 12 buses ─ were burnt beyond recognition.
“Scores of other victims, who were still alive, were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital.
“We cannot state the number of those involved in the incident because we are still working. The number will come after the end of the evacuation.”
It was gathered that the Anambra State Governor, Willie Obiano, broke down in tears at the scene of the incident.
The state Commissioner for Transport, Chief Chuma Mbonu, described the incident as unfortunate.
He said the information with the government was that 14 vehicles were burnt, while scores of people were trapped.

Gone are the days in the Nigeria entertainment Industry, where celebrities were humble to their fans and also appreciated their fans for the love and support shown to them, despite the Money and Fame, they still maintain the humility and appreciate their fans. For that fact, they still remain at the top spot for years, making sure Nigeria Entertainment is known worldwide, But these days, virtually all the celebrities we have are not appreciative and loyal to their fans.
The Nigeria Indigenous Rapper, who calls himself “Baddo“, “Voice of the Street” and a “Street King” which I do not see any street credibility in the Rapper’s Lifestyle.
On the 28th of May, 2015, “The Place Club” was re-opened at Ikeja G.R.A, a lot of celebrity came for the Launch. Meanwhile, the Yoruba actor Omo banke and the Yoruba Gospel singer Lanre teriba were outside the eatery, where they were catching fun with their fans. Olamide drove inside and packed directly in front of the eatery, he came out of his vehicle , wanting to go into the club, His loyal and cherishing fan called and shouted “Badoo” hailing him and all Olamide did was shunning the fan saying “No shout my name, I no like am, wetin be this” with the I don’t care look, the loyal fan actually removed his cap for olamide for the respect and was ashamed for not getting at least a fair reply, instead was an harsh one.
Another buoyant and Brave fan called Mr Dosunmu, who was chilling with Omo Banke and Lanre Teriba, saw what Olamide did to that fan, in anger shunned olamide saying “Oga comot for here, shey na only you dey buy you album? abi na only you go get money? Na we dey listen to your songs and you no see or respect us for here“, then olamide saw and heard what Mr Dosunmu said to him and ignored it.
Omo banke went to meet him making him realise his wrong attitude to his fan, then olamide entered the club, the loyal fan who was shunned waited by Olamide’s car expecting apology. When Olamide came out of the club entered his car with his Manager alex and drove off. UNFORTUNATELY, Olamide did not apologise to the Humble and loving Fan, which made the fan feel like a fool for the love, appreciation and respect he showed to Olamide.
With this action,is it street credibility or street Stupidity?.
This Message and story goes out to every celebrity who does this and think it is the right thing, Please stop it and appreciate the love from your fans by showing it back to them not shunning them, the fans make and Break.

A fatal accident happened this afternoon along Badeh Junction on Keffi-Kafanchan road in Abuja.
One person was killed and four others are in critical conditions.
