Christianity EtcRe: You Don't Want Maclatunji? Let's Get You 2 New Great Mods. by Mcdondayan: 10:29am On Aug 11, 2013
Khaffi: okay now I get it but I think dis is a waste of time. Seun is definitely seeing all that is happening here & he will appoint a new Mod if he so wishes.

If ya'll rant from now till eternity,if Seun is comfortable with Maclatunji, then he stays.

The best you all can do if u are not comfortable with maclatunji as a mod here is to stop posting on this section. There are other sections on NL.

Pls pple, save ur self the stress & leave Maclatunji alone with his God.

Point of correction, its god not God. Tnx
Christianity EtcRe: You Don't Want Maclatunji? Let's Get You 2 New Great Mods. by Mcdondayan: 10:24am On Aug 11, 2013
Khaffi: I still don't understand why ya'll want Maclatunji outta here huh
Some1 needs to explain this pls because am lost here
Reasons why we do not want macla-osama-bin-tunji.
1. He is a muslim and should not be a mudreator in a christain section.
2. He is not just a muslim, but an extremist and he has d ability to use any means possible to achieve his aim.
3. He has great tyranical propensity and thus shows no love even as Jesus asked us to.
4. We as christains believe that Jesus is d son of God(not allah) and therfore one who does not believe dat should nt be appointed to muderate those of us who do. Cos "non habeo quod non habet" u do not give what u dont have.
5. He is d second most hated muderator on nairaland. He was third but for the exit of Jarus (of nairaland's blessed memory), he is second only to sexkills.
N/B I do not have ant issue with sexkills.
6. A child of a deity (allah) should not conduct election for d children of God. Its just like asking Netanyahu to appoint ahmadinejab of iran to conduct an election for a post in Israel.

Seun appoint a new mod for the christain section. When u appointed Afam u did not ask for any one to conduct election. When u appointed Ikenna u did not ask for assistance. When u created muslim section u did not ask for assistance. When u appointed Mukina u did not ask for help. I can go on and on but remember wat i said earlier, it takes only little to fall.
Christianity EtcRe: You Don't Want Maclatunji? Let's Get You 2 New Great Mods. by Mcdondayan: 8:55am On Aug 11, 2013
How in God's name did seun appoint macla-osama-bin-tunji a muderator in a christain section. Seun is this d best u could do to draw traffic. Remember yahoo mail and gmail. Yahoo was ontop and all of a sudden google has taken over. Yes u might say that so many people threaten to quit and they dont, but remember it only takes a little to fall.
I am not of the opinion that u should cow to all demands, but pls dont always allow your forum to be shrouded in an imbroligo of controversy. Use ur head, it takes only a little to fall. Jesus loves u.

Desola, are u tired? Continue polishing ur hate pistol nd see who gets tired. The funny aspect is that the so called hate on NL does not truly reflect what goes on outside. For all I care, you can rant till God knows when, IT DOES NOT CHANGE A THING. Happy Sunday.

When Jarus was a moderator nobody saw his tribalistic tendencies, now its Afam you guys are attacking. How many times have threads been started to spite Afam? All I know is that he who breaks any rule should be made to face the music and OMJ4 pls dont be a toothless bulldog. Ban those that should be banned for eternity and tribal slurs will stop. But remember "what is good for the Greeks is good for Uganda". No offence intended.

1. LEDs

When Nick Holonyak Jr invented the first practically useful LED in 1962 he predicted it would one day replace Edison's lightbulb. Holonyak's colleagues have said he should be given the Nobel Prize but he humbly says: "It's ridiculous to think that somebody owes you something. We're lucky to be alive, when it comes down to it."

2. Post-It Notes

3M sell billions of Post-It Notes each year but its inventors describe themselves as "comfortably off" not wealthy. They were the co-creation of Dr Spencer Silver, who in 1968 developed an adhesive that had a "removability characteristic", and his colleague Art Fry hit on the idea of a bookmark that would stay in place in his hymnbook.

3. AK-47

The Kalashnikov rifle, or AK-47, was invented by Soviet Army soldier Mikhail Kalashnikov while recovering in hospital from injuries sustained in World War II. Kalashnikov claimed his creation was for the benefit of his country.
Kenny Everett

4. Sapphire stylus

Marie Killick invented a sapphire stylus for a record player but could not license it and despite years of litigation never made any money. In 1958 she won a lawsuit against Pye but went bankrupt the following year.

5. Hovercraft

Sir Christopher Cockerell used a vacuum cleaner and tin cans to test his theories as he developed the hovercraft, which first crossed between Calais and Dover in 1959. Cockerell was knighted but fought for years to get a lump sum from the National Research Development Corporation.
Hovercraft

6. Tetris

Russian computer programmer Alexey Pajitnov's game Tetris was developed alongside colleagues at a Russian government-funded research centre in 1985. He only started getting royalties 10 years later when he formed The Tetris Company.

7. The Wind-Up Radio

Inventor Trevor Baylis recently said he can no longer afford to live in his home in Twickenham, London, because despite millions of sales around the globe, the company he went into business with were able to tweak his design and he lost control over the product and profits.

"Most of us don't do it for the money but for the buzz," says Baylis. "I know that at least I've left my mark with the radio, the wind-up torch and other things I've invented."
Karaoke

8. Karaoke machines

Japanese businessman Daisuke Inoue made money from playing drums in a backing band which let bar goers take the mic and have a go at singing. One time when he couldn't make a gig he put the backing music on tape instead and later made 11 Karaoke (empty orchestra) machines which he leased out. He didn't patent his invention and barely made a yen.

9. MP3

The MP3 quickly became the standard for transferring music over the internet. German PhD student Karlheinz Brandenburg started work on the project in the 1980s but because there was no money to distribute the software it was marketed as shareware.
Sir Tim Berners-Lee Sir Tim Berners-Lee earned billions, but only in kudos

10. World Wide Web

And finally, no-one would have stumbled across this list save for Sir Tim Berners-Lee, who created the web to help scientists working at the European research lab at Cern. He says the secret of the rapid success of his invention was the fact he made it freely available.

Not all inventors are driven to make money but some want to make a contribution to the "common good", says Dr Tilly Blyth, Keeper of Engineering and Technology at the Science Museum.

"We tend to focus on the commercial development but in fact its often public and government research that has got it to that stage," Dr Blyth says. "If you look at the iPhone you think it's a great invention from Steve Jobs and Apple but look at the vital components like the screen, the chip and the processor and their origins were all in government-funded research."

"A lot of the real cutting-edge research comes from the pure and blue sky thinking done in public research facilities for the good of humanity rather than to make money."

OP, the only wish I have for you is that your parents where gay. We would have not have you born and this thread would not have been started.
And I wish all your children and grandchildren and infact all your generation will be gay. But advise them to remain in Canada.
Furthermore, we have our problems here in Nigeria, pls dont add your gay issues to it, not on a sunday.
RomanceRe: . by Mcdondayan: 11:07am On Jul 07, 2013
Hezron Lorraine: I'm gay and I'm not asking they legalise same sex marriage.all I can ask for his acceptance.
The nigerian society is yet to understand the dynamics behind homosexual relations talkless of marriage unions.
People in this country have been so brainwashed and know little about gay people.
That idiot posted homosexuality is insanity and yet he can't proof this.the WHO,the world body on health and medicine and condemned such claims times and again, this is a body that conducts valif research on health related issues and they've always proven right but when its about homosexuality, his likes would say they got it wrong, cause he has a PHD in medical science.no african medical association has conducted a concrete research to back this widespread believes.
Whatever nigerians don't understand, they try to murder.they place themselves as moral idols before the world yet their attrocities are highest.
Ordinary sex education which is made compulsory in the curriculum for senior secondary students, they don't teach not to talk of researching and studying homosexual behaviours.
If we were to go by religion,as a christian,u don't have to read the whole bible twice to know the way christian use the bible to support homophobia is highly misplaced.
some believe gay people can change, from my personal history, that has failed again and again despite my strong acquaintance with God.tried both the religious and psychological scene.they proved abortive.
The funny thing is most people are ready to jail gay people for a believed crime which poses no harm either directly or indirectly on anyone in the society.
They fail to know that gay men and women are part of the society, they've always been there and would always be.they all work tirelessly like any well meaning Nigerian for the betterment of the nation.they are secretly there investing their time and energy along other str8 nigerians to develop the great nation.
Nigerians only love to portray the bad sides of few gay people.you don't know if that your very nice boss is gay and he's been nice to u all this year.that woman who cared for you when you had nothing and made you something today is secretly a lesbian.let's get our priorities right.
tolerance is key to a sustainable society.the sa$e western culture you claim gave u homophobia from their archaic sodomy laws.Britain is a free inclusive society irrespective of gender or sexual orientation today when at a time it chemically castrated gay men.
The Middle-east which as of today upholds strong jail terms or capital punishment for homosexual acts used to be the haven of homosexuality at a particular era with Persia, the present day Iran and syria as a sex market for homosexuality.
Archeologists $ade new revelations recently that early cave drawings in china featured bisexual relationships.
What of the Egyptian Empire,it is also known that some of the female queens of Benin was engaged in homosexual acts.
I remember clearly,Museveni, the Ugandan king-president coming out to refute claims of homosexuality being a western import on the ugandan society by providing proofs of homosexual relationships between ugandan kings and british tourist.
Can go on and on.but some people have one-sided brain and can never reason the other way.they are just too brainwashed and myopic in reasoning.
I rest my case!!!
I wish your parents were gay.
