Are you sure about this sir/ma? I read somewhere online that they do not allow traditional attires, only suits and non flamboyant gowns are allowed. Don't really know if wedding gown will be allowed. Can anyone pls confirm this? Thank you. ayandee: U can wear suits, wedding gown, even traditional attire. |

Romance / Single Ladies Are More Than Single Guys; How True? by Mcfemad(m): 10:52am On Oct 02, 2012 |
Good morning house, Hope we all enjoyed the independence holiday. I was at a programme organized for Singles yesterday, October 1st 2012 in Lagos, Nigeria. Of over 2000 singles in attendance, I can estimate 77% of the population to be ladies. There are so many of them around that you can count the number of single guys around. I felt I was the only who noticed until I asked a friend we went together who also confirmed it. But, you see many of these ladies claiming they are 'engaged' and some of them 'forming' I don't need a man! I also visited the Dating and Meeting Up zone of the Romance section on Nairaland where I saw many requests from guys trying to hook up with ladies/marriage potentials. What could be responsible for this and how can it be addressed. Thank you |

sub_zidi: @ Post: You dont need to break the bank for it! You go to the registry and fill the formswith 2 passports of couple, then pay N1k. After filling the forms in court then you submit them same day and wait for 21 working days(display of couple info in notice-board). They would calculate the waiting period and then give you your prefered date to come for oath taking. Oath taking is N6k. Then after that you would then choose your wedding date weekdays cheaper than saturdays which is N2k(weekday)/N5k(weekend ie saturday). and please what is the dress code like? Do they allow bride on wedding gowns or both couples should appear strictly in suits. Thanks as you repsond. |

The required size should be within this range. Has no idea of the exact size that will suit her and she doesn't know herself. She has a small stature; 5ft+ and 50kg. We shall probably visit next week to see them and get one! I hope the Promo is still on? chaircover: Sorry I only just saw your post. What size do you require? I have 10 - 16 in stock |

My Brother, there are "bad eggs" everywhere in the Nigerian System (Both Private and Public). It will take serious efforts to identify and deal with them appropriately. That was why I raised the issue of you lodging a complaint, see if the guys can be apprehended and dealt with accordingly. I do not use a BB, but can send you the number of the LASTMA commander via Nairaland PM if you do not mind. Thank you. Have a great Day! faluasafe: Re: A Day At LASTMA Office Oshodi by Mcfemad(m): 11:31pm On Sep 18 |

Car Talk / Re: A Day At LASTMA Office Oshodi by Mcfemad(m): 11:31pm On Sep 18, 2012 |
This is so serious! As it is, I had fruitful discussions with their Oshodi commander today when he came visiting our company. I raised an issue like this which he did not denied. He termed them as 'bad eggs' in the system which I believe is everywhere. I can help out if you would like to lodge a formal complaint. Issues like this should not be brought under the carpert. It has to be dealt with! faluasafe: They are meant to ensure compliance with the new Lagos state traffic laws. But the LASTMA I saw today(16-09-12) are nothing but glorified 'Agberos' robed in uniform. 2 Likes |
