Oluwajosef: Hello Guys
This is happening to me and my brother. We noticed our names were removed from my moms case after the submission of civil documents. We asked NVC and we were told our case is under review for the applicability of cspa.
My question is how long does cspa take coz this is our 4month waiting.. Has anyone seen, heard or gone through this process before. Kindly assist Hi. Found anything? We are in this together. |

Good day house, I need clarification. My family submitted documents last 2 weeks, waiting for an interview invite. Checking our account online tonight, I found out that only my dad's name(the main applicant) and my mum's are on the list. The remaining 4 of us (children) have been wiped out. What does this mean, please? This is strange.
Anyone?
Please help out with information. Anyone? |
Travel › Re: U.S. Immigration Questions: Ask A U.S. Consular Officer Pt. 2 by mcfwesh(m): 10:35am On Aug 13, 2019 |
Good day Officer, The NVC sent an approval email concerning our immigrant visa application filed by my uncle in 2006.
My dad is the main applicant while the rest of the family are accompanying him. I am the only one from the family staying abroad currently. I reside in Germany and have been studying for the last 3 years. My main question is:
Can I have my interview arranged in an embassy located in Germany instead of Nigeria? If this is possible, how do I go about informing the NVC office about this arrangement? I ask because it's not to so easy to head back to Nigeria for an interview considering the costs and all.
Thanks in anticipation for a favourable response. |

UncleJudax: €8,870? Thats extra €180. What could be the maths behind it? I truly can't understand. Is that the new rate? Those who recently got their IBAN from Deutsche Bank should corroborate or downplay this please. Meanwhile, is one expected to book another appointment at the German embassy when DB asks for additional information for the blocked account opening or can just walk in? |

DB just sent my account details. They request I pay in 8820 euros + 50 euros as that is the minimum amount accepted. I wan faint!! Epp me |

Eke40seven: You can show up at the interview with a different admission letter, no troubles. The admission letter you used for your appointment booking is not a binding requirement at the interview just as long as you present a valid admission letter during the interview with which the onward processing of your visa will proceed with the content of the accompanying application form indicating this also. In essence, no question will be asked regarding the sameness of the admission letter for interview booking and that's why they ask you from the start, the name of your school and course on the interview day. Thanks for this clarification. In the event that your admission letter is not ready at the date of interview and you have only got confirmation of admission email, what does one do? |

I booked an appointment for a visa interview. I used a school's admission letter that I am not planning to attend because my desired university's admission letter was not out. Can I present my desired university's admission letter on the day of the interview instead of the former that I used to book? Will that be allowed? If not, what can I do afterwards? |

In filling the blocked account form, am I to fill 8820euros as this is the new blocked account sum needed?
What should I fill in 'Dispositions above a sum of €0.00......'?
I believe those three three spaces for [date, place and signatory] in the form should be left blank untik I get to the embassy? |

futurewise11: The choice is yours bro. You cant eat your cake and have it. Since Ph.D is your aspiration, you can forget student job during studies. During semester break you can work in other cities. Alright. Thanks. *Bro, Weingarten asked me to deposit 550euros for accomodation before i get there. Do you think this money is part of the 8820euros or it's different? |

jbadmus: Congrats on your admissions, bro! I also gained admission into University of Rostock; same course of study(M.Sc Electrical Engineering). The comments so far about Rostock as regards high unemployment rate calls for a bit of concern sha.UniRostock is my second most preferred school;UniSiegen(M.Sc Mechatronics) really rocks for me (still expecting their notice of admission though).Let's relate on this UniRostock thing.Hope you have applied, online, for a hostel accommodation? Congrats. I have not even got the admission letter by airmail as promised. I don't know if you have. That being said, I have not looked into the hostel thingy. |

futurewise11: You will enjoy weingarten.Student job and hostel is relatively available. But during the higher semesters you need German for your program.Nigerian community to make u feel at home.
Rostock is more affordable but in terms of job Weingarten is better off. Thanks bro. Rostock is high up the ladder in terms of rankings. And Ph.D is possible unlike weingarten. But the students' job stuff and future employment is making me consider. |

my bros. .help I have got admission into two schools : Honschule Ravensburg Weingarten(M.Eng) and University of Rostock (M.Sc). All for Electrical Engineering. The former is in the South while the latter is in the North.
I need a constructive advice that would help me make a decision. I heard Rostock has a high unemployment rate and need a lot of german to get by.
Thanks |
