Emeka Maduewesi writes on Aisha Buhari's fake passport presented by the presidency: No Office of First Lady: Dr. Kachikwu knows the real "Aisha" Buhari I have been a lawyer in the United States since 2002. Once your practice will expose you to dealing with foreign corporations, you will mandatorily undergo a certified course in the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act of 1977, as amended, 15 U.S.C. §§ 78dd-1, et seq. ("FCPA" . I've gone through that course twice and have accessed all the documents in the case via PACER. The Nigerian Halliburton case - United States v. Tesler, et al., No. 09-cr-98 (S.D. Tex. Feb. 17, 2009), is the locus classicus in that area of law. All the other cases also involved Nigeria and Nigerians. What a corrupt country! It was Jefferey Tesler who wire-transferred the bribe payments to or for the benefit of various Nigerian government officials, including officials of the executive branch of the Government of Nigeria, NNPC, and NLNG, and for the benefit of a political party in Nigeria. If there is one clean man in Nigeria, that man is Dr. Ibe Kachikwu. He was involved in the investigation of this Halliburton case. The investigation turned him into the best resource for the US Department of Justice and thereafter, he would be invited to the United States to deliver lectures on the topic. Dr. Ibe Kachikwu knows the real "Aisha" Buhari. I also know the real "Aisha" Buhari. She will never set foot on US soil. After all, there is no office of First Lady in Nigeria. So, even if the President visits, he will not be asked about the first lady. |

Just look at this passport you will find out the attempt of larmode who still has a case of fraud to answer with efcc tried to do damage control to the Aisha Buharigate. By releasing this fake passport to cover the crime, they failed to hide the fact that the said passport was issued in Washington in 2012. Meanwhile the said Aisha Buhari was indicted in 2005 and is wanted... So the question we are asking is simple, if she was indicted in 2005, why was she still roaming freely on US soil in 2012? And why is the Aisha Buhari we know absolutely reluctant to visit the US?"

The cause of death for keshi is becoming easier . Someone should check if they ate the same meal from the same source within a particular time frame.Have these two been together in recent time? |
You people should keep wasting your MB ranting on nairaland. The alliance between the northern Nigeria,Libya and Niger Republic it's as old as ant Hill. You don't expect a country to supply you a reasonable population to win election and to be populous in census without rewarding them. The hands of FG are tied in this matter so don't expect anything from FG. |
What people don't understand is every single bullet in the AK47 riffle of any Nigerian soldier is a proceed of oil.If the NDA succeeds in stopping the oil exploration by the major companies like they are doing. They would have succeeded in stopping the inflow of our foreign exchange and that means no money to buy more ammunition.Besides the international community has been sabotaging Nigeria in terms of arms deal for some time now.The only card left for Nigerians government to play at the moment is the politics of inclusion. The federal government needs to come up with an initiative that will make a statement of intent to the Niger deltans to suggest that the government has remembered them. This can be done through some capital projects like restructuring the seaport in Port Harcourt to bring more revenue to the region and of course a move that will help to decongest Apparently wharf, restore the national maritime university erroneously moved to the north and much more.I belive this move an not amnesty will go a long way in solving the problems of militancy in the Niger delta region. |

JOOHEL:A lazy mans question. You are part of the people that believe that people who are extremely reach are ritualists. Try to emancipate yourself from mental slavery. |
I think the Nigerian Army has to be worried about who the allies of NDA are. They might have secret international backing since oil is involved .This is not like war against Bokoharam that has no economical gain.Remember every single AK 47 in the hands of the Nigerian Army is a proceed from oil.As the oil diminishes,AK 47 diminishes.A food for thought. |

"On March 23, 1994 the medical examiner viewed the body of Ronald Opus and concluded that he died from a shotgun wound to the head. Mr. Opus had jumped from the top of a ten-story building intending to commit suicide. He left a note to the effect indicating his despondency. As he fell past the ninth floor his life was interrupted by a shotgun blast passing through a window, which killed him instantly. Neither the shooter nor the deceased was aware that a safety net had been installed just below the eighth floor level to protect some building workers and that Ronald Opus would not have been able to complete his suicide the way he had planned. "Ordinarily," Dr Mills continued, "A person, who sets out to commit suicide and ultimately succeeds, even though the mechanism might not be what he intended, is still defined as committing suicide." That Mr. Opus was shot on the way to certain death, but probably would not have been successful because of the safety net, caused the medical examiner to feel that he had a homicide on his hands. In the room on the ninth floor, where the shotgun blast emanated, was occupied by an elderly man and his wife. They were arguing vigorously and he was threatening her with a shotgun. The man was so upset that when he pulled the trigger he completely missed his wife and the pellets went through the window striking Mr. Opus. When one intends to kill subject "A" but kills subject "B" in the attempt, one is guilty of the murder of subject "B". When confronted with the murder charge the old man and his wife were both adamant and both said that they thought the shotgun was unloaded. The old man said it was a long-standing habit to threaten his wife with the unloaded shotgun. He had no intention to murder her. Therefore the killing of Mr. Opus appeared to be an accident; that is, if the gun had been accidentally loaded. The continuing investigation turned up a witness who saw the old couple's son loading the shotgun about six weeks prior to the fatal accident. It transpired that the old lady had cut off her son's financial support and the son, knowing the propensity of his father to use the shotgun , loaded the gun with the expectation that his father would shoot his mother. Since the loader of the gun was aware of this, he was guilty of the murder even though he didn't actually pull the trigger. The case now becomes one of murder on the part of the son for the death of Ronald Opus. Now comes the exquisite twist. Further investigation revealed that the son was, in fact, Ronald Opus. He had become increasingly despondent over the failure of his attempt to engineer his mother's murder. This led him to jump off the ten-story building on March 23rd, only to be killed by a shotgun blast passing through the ninth story window. The son had actually murdered himself, so the medical examiner closed the case as a suicide. A true story from Associated Press, Reported by Kurt Westervelt Brilliant - facts are sometimes stranger then fiction !" |

I dont know why some people think everything is all about politics. This is a man who came into power with the story of i borrowed money for my presidential ticket.H e also flew British airways to London and rejected a limo offered to him by Nigerian embassy. What really happened to him?The irrational thing about all these development is that government keep telling the masses that the country is broke and as a result heap more taxes and levies on the people while they keep living flamboyant lifestyles.Shame on all the people who saw the truth but refuse to say it.Change indeed. |
drtwist:Your comment is the joke of the century.I forgive you because am aware that most people from the Sw hardly travel to other regions.IBADAN might be big in terms of land mass but not more developed than owerri in terms of contemporary infrastructures.IBADAN is the only city passengers on an aircraft can identify many thousands of feet above sea level because of its brown roof. |
