*Understand The Principles Of Politics* In politics you must understand that; (1). Nobody has your interests. (2). Everybody is chasing their own interests. (3). Dealing with politicians is like sleeping with tigers; you must always have your eyes wide open. (4). In any Political equation, there's always someone being used. If you can't find one then it is you. (5). Serving politicians is like a bandage on a wound. Once the wound is healed your usefulness ends. Politicians don't recognize and reward value they recognize their own needs and you are only as useful as the lifespan of their need for you. (6). In Politics never wail more than the bereaved. They will get the reward while you inherit their enemies. (7). In Politics, in any event that other interests conflict with your own interests and you have to choose, always choose yours. ( . Never cross oceans for Politicians; you will drown and the best they will do is give a benevolent speech at your burial, lie to your widow and children and eat your food. Politicians will never cross the streets for their foot soldiers.(9) Above all, Family and Health are things you should never use to attack a man. Politics is never that serious. (10) Lastly to all the Youths, it's too risky to sacrifice your Career, Health, Personal Character, Social capital and integrity in pursuit of short term and temporary rewards, offered by Politicians, unless of cause you are the one in control and have a long term game plan. ♂. |
This is injustice.I mean how can they sell fuel for 20 naira per liter to BMCs and Apc members for supporting this everlasting hardship while PDP members and the rest of Nigeria buys at 151.56. |

shameless man, people are dying everyday in the north and the president has not said anything or done enough to salvage the situation but you weren't worried because it's not a party affairs. Now you are worried that APC will collapse which will remove your straw from the national feeding bottle. |
Was the hotel room booked by the bank for the rape victim that he has so much right to enter such a hotel and demanded for the spare keys to the room which is already occupied by a guest? If the hotel was not booked by dbanj and if the girl's claim that she does not want to see the Dbanj is true, how did debanj get to know her room number?I am just being curious. |
Such a ridiculous report. How can a pilot push down a collective control to climb instead of pulling it up to effectively change the pitch angle of the rotor blades.Thats very unheard of unless they are saying there is malfunctioning in the connections between the swash plates and the vertical pitch links.Very bizarre knowing that a legend is gone. |

From the picture,It's not possible for the building to be 108 meters high because no floor is more than 3 meters or even 4 meters. If you calculate the 21 floors with the down stairs,It's 88 meters. As we can see the building does not have high roof structure. |
The truth is the guy in Aso rock does not have any emotional attachments to kastina state like the real pmb so he hardly connects with the feeling of kastina people. Abah kyari did his bits to replicate what the real pmb could have done for people of kastina but sadly enough,he is gone. The only way is for them to continue to endeaur the rest of 4+4 hoping that it will not consume them. |
E-money,this is my little advice for you. This police officers that always display on pics opening door for you will land you in a serious problem very soon. Many people are becoming envious and they are just looking for a little fault to finish you.My brother, please run away from publicity and enjoy your wealth calmly like Olu Okeowo the owner of Gibraltar construction who is more affluent than you but chose to keep it low.The road is very far bro. |
waiting for the authorities to pull down the particular mosque because I know it were to be church, the building will be pulled down and the pastor arrested. |
The King Cobra is dead and buried? A cobra once lived...grew and became very deadly...had children...many and increased in power and position and killed not a few men in the community...but one day it died and men, women and children that survived the deadly bites of the vicious thing came out on the streets rejoicing that finally, king cobra is no more for ever....and the children of the beast kept asking why men should so rejoice over the death of their father, mentor, king and hero?...Ok, let us understand their angle....they do not know how deadly their hero was...he did not bite them...and they are beast after all... and they say that he even went to school and was very successful....Hmmmmm! A beast, is a beast afterall even with education, he remains a beast... |

Soooooo, Sanusi Lamido's lawyers filed the application for the enforcement of his fundamental human rights barely two days ago. The Chief Judge received the application and assigned it to a judge the same day. The court sat the following day and the application was heard and granted the same day. The court order was enrolled and served the same day. (Note the far apart locations of the various parties) The court order was also enforced the same day, with Sanusi released from exile instantly. All of these happened within 30 hours. Hahaha hahaha hahaha.... Any practicing lawyer in Nigeria will tell you that this is a poorly-written script. From the dethronement, to the banishment, to the court order and the release from exile, everything looks stage-managed and in fact, totally qualifies as a badly-choreographed nonsense with intent to confuse and deceive only the gullible! |
[quote author=mcgaius post=87351850]Former Emir Sanusi: Why Should Southerners Be Concerned About Events in the North? read people criticize non-Northerners who take interest in discussing the Emir of Kano saga and I wonder at that stretch of reason. Let me address them. While I agree that deliberate amnesia is a psychological defence to a very harsh reality, I want to urge them to wake up to the reality that, regardless some of our deepest wishes of separation or isolation, fact is that at this moment, we’re still ONE country. That’s a very simple fact. What affects one part of Nigeria often has a curious way of affecting others. In this Sanusi matter, what the man was preaching (which made many of his fellow Northern elite very uncomfortable) is the matter child marriage, excess children they cannot cater for, girl child education etc etc. How does this concern you down South? Honestly if you can’t see this simple thing, then you need your head examined. Let me put it in the simplest language possible. The greater the poverty and illiteracy in the North, the less you in the South can get a government that will work for your good. Apart from the plain fact that many Northerners now flood the South with its attendant economic dislocation (see what they’re using okada to do in Lagos; even in my village in Imo state, Northerners almost dominate okada business); another plain fact is that the distribution of resources in Nigeria will be skewed when you have such a staggering population of economically and educationally disabled people. An example is by taking a good look at The Cable’s breakdown of how the $22.7bn loan will be spent and even though the details were not regionalized, it was obvious that the North East (for instance) got more special vehicle projects than any other region. Implication? YOU, the I-Too-Know Unconcerned Southerner who thinks it’s not your business, YOU will be the one to pay back those loans when they mature! See how it concerns you now? Do you now see how the removal of an Emir who was at least an institutionalized voice in advocating a change in some of the funny traditions concerns you? Chai, how can I simplify it further? The more poverty and illiteracy fester in the most populous regions, the more Nigeria is gonna need bigger loans to solve them (which will never solve them anyway!) and the more YOU the ITK Southerner will have to pay back these loans which their elite will embezzle anyway because believe me, they don’t give a shit about their poverty-ridden masses. Before those displaced communities in the North East begin to be economically settled to be productive in paying back the debt, the 20yr maturity period for the loans would have been up. So who pays? YOU! Let me simplify it further still. If you think you’re OK in Lagos or PortHarcourt because you earn N15m PA, do you know that inflation sustained and fueled by remote causes of unproductivity, can render you a wretched millionaire in the long run? Worse, do you know that YOU the millionaire cannot travel freely in safety because of an explosion in crime brought about by the ignorance inherent in some of the things that the former Emir spoke up against? Look, better wake up to the fact that events in one part of a country concerns every other part except two things happen now - 1. Nigeria is restructured in such a manner that each region is more responsible for itself than obtains at present 2. Nigeria breaks up into different countries Until either of those two options happen, you’d better be concerned when you hear adverse news from those regions because you will be the one to pay for it. Be concerned and join in trying to effect a change (for YOUR own good) via any of the two options proposed here. Your aloofness is like that of tree who sees a storm coming and stays rooted in one spot. copied |

Insecurity: Nothing wrong in asking President to resign – El-Rufai to Jonathan in 2012 Published 13 hours ago on January 30, 2020 By Nsikak Nseyen A call made by Nasir El-rufai, while pushing for the resignation of former President, Goodluck Jonathan in 2012 has resurfaced on social media. Ad El-Rufai, now the Kaduna State Governor, had on July 23, 2012, supported the call for Jonathan’s resignation, suggesting that the then President was useless to the people of Nigeria. The tweet resurfacing may not be unconnected to a similar call made by Senate Minority Leader, Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe, who yesterday, demanded that President Muhammadu Buhari resigned his position if he can no longer protect Nigerians. El-Rufai had said, ”Nothing wrong with asking a president to resign, even presidents that are useful to their people get asked to.” The tweet, which has stirred diverse reactions is coming amidst backlash to Abaribe’s outburst on the floor of the Senate. The Abia-born politician also noted that the All Progressives Congress (APC) administration has failed Nigerians. Abaribe made the call during his contribution to a motion sponsored by the Senate Leader, Yahaya Abdullahi, on national security, said the nation’s leader and his government have been lying to Nigerians that Boko Haram has been defeated. He said: “Those who live on propaganda shall die by propaganda. Defeat is staring us in the face. “Nigerians did not elect the Chief of Staff, Nigerians did not elect heads of Security, Nigerians elected President Muhammadu Buhari in 2015 and in 2019. “As it is, we are facing the head of the Nigerian government and this is President Buhari. He should resign with immediate effect.” Reacting, Buhari, through his spokesman, Garba Shehu, declared that he won’t throw in the towel just because some characters think that he should resign. He said, “That call does not represent the opinion of the country. This is the opinion of an armchair critic, known for making stray comments. “If a leader like President Buhari needs to resign, there are millions of other Nigerians who need to resign, including Senator Abaribe who unlocked the door to enable the escape of traitorous and treasonable suspects. “He signed the bond for the court to release Nnamdi Kanu on bail, from which moment the suspect disappeared into the thin air. “Senator Abaribe has failed repeated deadlines to return Kanu to the court for trial, yet he has the effrontery with which to accuse someone of failing to the bidding of the law. “This is a man who should have replaced the suspects he failed to produce in the correctional facility. “Abaribe’s party raped the nation and left it collapsing in 2015 and President Buhari is fixing things up all the years he is in office. “President Buhari is working hard to keep Nigeria and Nigerians out of the harm terrorists have unleashed in the entire Sahel and Sub-Saharan Africa with the support of Nigerians and our foreign friends, he is going to finish off these terrorists. He alone can do it.” https://dailypost.ng/2020/01/30/insecurity-nothing-wrong-in-asking-president-to-resign-el-rufai-to-jonathan-in-2012/amp/

Who approved this post?I thought Nairalanders say no to secession? Is it because it's not from Igbo point of view?Dont even say that i am beating the drum of tribalism because in Nigeria once one person is ok,he always feels that the other guys can go to hell. This issue with Fulani and Nigeria is as old as ant hills and the igbos have been talking about it but just that the southwest always feel they can gain something from the North by working against the rest of the south and now they are feeling the heat. What they do not realise from the set go is that "injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.Una good morning. |

Breaking New! Enugu CP rescues maid maltreated by her 'heartless' madam captured in a viral video! ...Parades arrested woman The Enugu State Police Command has rescued a maid, Peace Goewam, captured in a viral video where she was being traumatized by her madam. In the video, which elicited angry reactions from Nigerians, the woman, Mrs. Amaka Ortolehi, from Ngor-Okpala, Imo State, was seen maltreating the maid in most heartless manner. The incident, our correspondent gathered, led the Enugu State Police Commissioner, Ahmad Abdulrahman into launching a manhunt for her. Addressing journalists at the State Police Command, the Commissioner said "when I viewed the viral video, it was an eyesore. "I gave order to my technical officers and anti-cult team. This eventually led to her arrest, alongside her husband Nkemakolam Ortolehi. "We also arrested Mr. Jonathan Goewan, the uncle to the victim, who out of greed brought her to Enugu from Jos and probably sold her to this wicked family. "Irrationally, she held her own daughter who she had affection for but was thrusting this very girl on the ground as if she was killing a fowl." He added that "we protected and rescued the girl and she is going be to handed over to a government agency that will take care of her till we trace her parents. "They will come down and tell us why they divorced this girl from them; as for the uncle, he has no satisfactory answer, so we are suspecting fowl play. "This is typical example of Child Abuse, child labour, torture and man's inhumanity to man." The Police Commissioner vowed that all those involved in one way or the other in the girl child's ordeal would be prosecuted and appropriate punishment meted on them. Meanwhile, Mrs. Ortelehi has blamed the devil for her actions. Speaking with newsmen amidst tears, she said "I don't know what came over me. I don't treat her in such manner before. You can enquire from her school, you can ask our neighbours. "This is not how we have been living, I'm a lover of children, all come to my house. Anger put me into this, I love Peace, we have been living together for two years, this is just something that went out of the ordinary."
