I can get this person to start earning and can make him a six-figure earner within 1-2 yrs but that’s if he is ready to show up for himself and make money without being lazy and making excuses.
TheGoodJoe: I watched the Kachikwu vs Amaechi video going viral online and I see majority supporting Kachikwu's point. Continuing the project.
I disagree because the Fraud is too much. Hon. Amaechi proved in Rivers State that he can achieve befitting projects when he has the money. Hon. Amaechi’s point: "I am not against the University. I hope you people appreciate that. My argument about Okerenkoko is that the land alone is N13 billion. That N13 billion has built the university already so there is no need to spend more money. Let EFCC retrieve the money from them and then release them and we would build the University."
I do not understand what is wrong in this statement. The money is enough to purchase the land and build the University. The point is clear. Continuing with the project means supporting a monumental fraud.
Hon. Kachikwu's point: “First let me say on Maritime University, I disagree with the minister of transport. Any facility that is placed in the south south, we should work towards developing it. I don’t care the circumstances under which we are placed… It is not my position to determine whether land was valued at N19 billion or N10 billion or N3 billion. The appropriate institutions which are the court systems will determine that."
I do not understand what people are applauding in this statement. Is Hon. Amaechi against the Maritime University? No. Amaechi clearly stated that when he retrieves the money, he will build the University.
Kachikwu said he is not in position to determine the valuation of the land. Please, this is ridiculous. We ars talking of the valuation of the project.
Amaechi is saying that the money is enough to buy the land and build the university. A minister should be able to value a project.
Amaechi was right and I wonder why people is celebrating Kachikwu's point. This is a case of stopping a fraud. Going on with the project is detrimental to the development of the project.
Below are pics of an Hon. Amaechi project which was close to the cost for just the land for this University project. Golf Estate Port-Harcourt.
I don't like commenting on Nairaland but it pisses me when people say things they know nothing about as if they were there when it happened. The picture you posted here was a project undertaken by a TAF Africa, owned by a Gabonese Real Estate Expert. He has similar projects in other African countries and used a loan to build this. The government only help him in the area of land acquisition, so I don't understand how you will give Amaechi kudos for something someone else suffered for.
Hello Sirs, I'm not a Civil Engineer but I really need help from you guys with the following questions.........
Quick question for my smart civil engineering friends in Nigeria......... (1) If I intend to use sharp sand, soft sand, stone dust and cement for commercial block production, what should be the optimum mixing ratio? What is the role of the soft sand please? (2) How many bags of cement can consume a 20 metric ton trip of sand for block production if I'm adding stone dust as well? (3) How many blocks per bag of cement is considered optimal considering strength and profit for a commercial block producer? (4) Do you recommend automatic brick production for Nigerian market? (5) The usual mixtures I see in Civil Engineering Articles, e.g. 1:2:4, are they volume ratios of mass ratios Your responses will be highly appreciated
I am doing a feasibility study for the startup of a block production factory with automatic production line so I want to ask some few questions please:
1) How many bags of cement will use up a 20ton trip of sharp sand for commercial block production (9", 6", 5", 4" or better phrased: How may tons of sand will be required to mould 35-40 blocks from 1 bag of cement?
2) What is the optimal mixture of cement, sharp sand, soft sand and stone dust for good commercial block production?
3) How much water is optimal per bag of cement?
4) Do I really need to include soft sand in the mixture? If yes then why?
Your responses will be highly appreciated. Pardon me for not using the right civil engineering terms.

Largas: The airport no fine reach domestic airports in US sef. Shabby shabby airports all over Nigeria.
You can't expect an airport in Kebbi to be like any airport in the US naa haba. USA is the world's most advanced and robust economy while Kebbi is ....
It's all envy. If he wasn't a foolish and very stupid prof., he would know that he is insulting the leader of a supreme country. The so called stupid man is occupying Nigeria's most respected position and is the most popular Nigerian. You are just an academician only know in your university and will probably die in penury. Useless man.
Pennywise: Sometimes we try too hard to find solutions to problems that do not exist or we go rigmaroling/sommersaulting looking for answers that stare at us in the face.
Minister of state is a creation of the Obj Goverment to deputize for a substantive minister. The real essence is for political jobs to go round. It was an expedient decision of Obj to spread the goodies among supporters and loyalists not minding that state resources can ill-afford it. If GEJ had any leadership spirit in him, he would have since abolished that position. I suppose we all have to wait for Buhari.
You are wrong. And I wonder why you skipped from OBASANJO to GEJ and stylishly skipped Yar'Adua. God is watching all of you.
Raiders: We are not boko haram supporters. Do you really think the real plan is to use the money for weapons? Some government officials are making money off boko haram insurgency. Why didn't the government Carry cash when they could wire the money
Let me ask you a very simple question.
Do you really think looted funds cannot be wired to SA? So in your understanding, only looted cash can be transferred by cash while legit money is only transferred electronically?
Learn to speak positively about your country please. Our leaders are corrupt but I believe their corruption is largely exaggerated.
omar22: I dont know why the NFA took an international game to a stadium thats in the middle of nowhere?
and 30k capacity, is that the best Nigeria could come up with?
Akwa Ibom or Uyo is not a football crazy city and its not central for all the fans to get to..
Nigeria needs a stadium that will create a hostile atmosphere for the opposition, not one that will make our opponent feel like they are playing at home.
