On quoting verses instead of lines; may I remind you that, it is lines that make up verses and not the other way round. Hence, there are no judgments when one quotes as many lines in a verse that suits his/her case. The title of the thread reads, "Most memorable lines you've heard i rap", and not most memorable 'line'(singular). So?

Charcoal business, as it is done here in Nigeria is not
proper.

About 3yrs ago, i thought of going into the bizalong with a couple of friends. But when I visited the sites where the woods are sourced from, then irealise the degree of deforestation andenvironmental degradation going on to produce
charcoal for both local and foreign market, I opted out immediately.

No one bothers about re-planting the trees. For every container of charcoal you see going abroad, over 500 or more trees may have been felled down without any consideration of what happens to the environment.

When the trees in one area have been completely depleted, they move to new areas and start all over again and again! Unfortunately, no one seems to care. Corruption, greed and lawlessness in our country makes such biz thrive unlike in developed countries where you are
expected to plant more tree and you dare not cut any tree!

While there is nothing wrong in making money, we should think of the generations coming behind us and do nothing to make life difficult for them. Let's make the world a better place than we met it.

Most countries buying our charcoal have
more trees than we do but they prefer to
preserve their own. Ask yourself, when last did you plant a tree? Some people may not agree with me but I think there are
better businesses we can do without hurting the
environment.

Coal is a better biz even though this has also contributedzzz to erosion in the east. it is still a
lesser evil. I am a bizman but I am choosy in the line of
business I do because I am responsible to God,
humanity and the environment. I expect same
of every businessman and woman. My people, money is not everything o!! Let us protect and preserve our environment for
the coming generations!

Yes I'm in Lagos. I can sew, but not professionally (more of simple stuffs). I have my tailors that work for me. The number to be produced would depend largely on the style and pattern intended. A simple corporate shirt can be made in 2hrs.

I decided to write up something brief on the above, and I am going to make it as simple and on point as possible. And here is my take.
Most people fail to realize that, fashion business is one of the most intriguing form of enterprise out there. By this post, i don't refer to fashion retailing, rather, a fashion outfit, that deals solely on dress making/production. Many people jump into it, only to realize this fact, and thus find themselves in complete dis-wrought and unknowing of what to do. Fashion business is quite dicey, and very tasking.
