FRSC Recruitment: Applicant faints as soldiers brutalize them .

An applicant who went for the physical verification exercise in the on going Federal Road Safety Corps recruitment exercise in Lokoja, Kogi State, fainted, today, after being hit on the head with a baton by one of the soldiers.

According to ObserversTimes, the soldiers at the venue flogged the applicants for trying to seek shelter under a canopy due to the scorching sun. They also kicked a lady in the stomach.

Lady arrested while trying to traffic a 2-month-old baby to Sweden
.

A 43-year-old woman, Stephany Isaksson Bassey, an indigene of Akwa Ibom State living in Sweden, has been arrested for being in a possession of a two-month-old baby boy, who a DNA test revealled not to be her child and clearly indicated that there is no biological relationship between them.

Bassey was nabbed at the the Embassy of Sweden in Nigeria on the suspicion that the child she came with was not her own. .
.
According to the Director, Public Enlightenment of National Agency for Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons, Josiah Emerole,: “She had gone to the Embassy to procure travel documents for the boy whom she claimed was her child. .
.
When she was brought to the Agency, she insisted that the baby was delivered by her. She claimed to have become pregnant for her husband in Sweden but that medical examination could not detect the pregnancy over there. .
.
She was, therefore, advised to return home to Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, where the pregnancy would be detected and she will be assisted to deliver safely. .
.
She claimed that on return and true to the promise, a baby was detected by a midwife in Uyo who she said told her that the fat in her body was too much that a scan and other medical and scientific examinations would not be able to penetrate to detect the baby therein. .
.
It was in such a ramshackle facility in Uyo that she claimed to have delivered the baby naturally. However, she never fed the baby who is 3 months old now with her breast milk even for one day. .
.
A DNA has been conducted on the woman and the child and the result which we have received clearly indicated that there is no biological relationship between the woman and the baby. .
.
Following this result we have arrested her so she could tell us the source of the baby. The baby is being taken care of by our caregivers while investigations continue.”

A suspected Nigerian fraudster, today, burst into tears while being paraded by the Kenyan police, following his arrest in the country.

Nigerian men, Uduebor Uche, Adebowale Oluwafemi and a Tanzanian were arrested for engaging in electronic fraud where local banks lost a huge amount of money. The suspects will be arraigned on Monday.

Three men have been jailed for killing a Nigerian model, Harry Uzoka, 25, in a row over his girlfriend in the U.K.


Uzoka was stabbed in the heart by fellow model, George Koh, in west London in January after after he went to settle the dispute. Koh, convicted of murder at the Old Bailey in August, was given a life sentence with a minimum of 25 years.


Merse Dikanda, was also found guilty of murder and jailed for at least 22 years, and Jonathan Okigbo was given a 14-year sentence for manslaughter.


Although initially friendly, the relationship between Uzoka and Koh deteriorated after Koh claimed to have had sex with Uzoka’s girlfriend, Ruby Campbell, who is also a model.

The pair then exchanged angry text messages and arranged to gather some friends and meet up in Shepherd’s Bush for a fight during which Uzoka was stabbed to death.

The wedding and honeymoon photos of a beautiful couple are going viral and the reason for this is quite obvious.

The beautiful bride has incomplete limbs. One of her hands stops at the elbow and the other just short of her shoulder. Her legs stop at the knee. But this did not stop her from having a great time at her wedding and honeymoon.

A married plumber was, on Tuesday, September, 4, 2018, giving the beating of his life by some vigilantes for allegedly molesting a 9-year-old girl in Opolo, Yenagoa Bayelsa State.

I don’t have N20m in my account, says Gov. El-Rufai
.

While receiving the APC governorship nomination form purchased for him by a group of traders/workers in his state earlier today, the Kaduna state governor, Nasir El-Rufai, revealed he does not have N20m in his account. According to him, when the party had announced that the governorship nomination form was for N22.5 million, he contemplated on selling his house as he did not have up to N20 million in his account. .

Speaking while receiving the form in his office, Governor El-Rufai said “When the party fixed the money for the form, I could remember that during the meeting, the President was the first person to raise his hands and said he does not have N50m. Infact, we the governors started discussing on how we will raise the money for Mr President. .

. “We said each governor will contribute N2 million each and we travelled to China and it was in China I told the president that some group have purchased the form for you. So who will buy my own for me?
“I don’t have N20 million also to buy my form. The money I have in the bank is not close to that amount. I have only one account in GT . Except I sell my house will I be able to raise that amount.”

Wizkid family begged me not to sue him to avoid immigration issues – Binta


Wizkid’s second baby mama, Binta Diallo has called him out for the 100th time over his refusal to be a responsible baby daddy to their son. This time , she claims the pop star’s family begged her not to sue him to avoid issues with immigration.


Sharing some documents detailing the agreement reached by both parties on social media, she wrote:

“This is some of the agreements/settlements that was provided by both of our lawyers which was supposed to be resolved outside court by February 2018. I didn’t sue him or take the case to court because some of his family members begged not to and said that wiz himself want to settle everything with the lawyers without involving the courts because he didn’t want to get in trouble with immigration. So I listened and accepted that deal and gave him a chance to do the right thing. That was 7mths ago and since then his lawyers keep telling my lawyers that they have not been able to reach their client or his management team. #more receipts on the way"

Now, I’ll like to share with you guys the secret of my success; Hardwork and a lot of PRAYER & PRAISES. Listen, I’m not a church goer; if I told you how many times I’ve been to church in the last 5 years, you would call me a sinner. But here’s what I do every day I wake up; I pray to God and then I praise Him. I never fail. Even if it’s just for a minute, I praise Him. You know what I’ve learnt by constantly praising God? I learnt that the more I praise Him, the more He steps into my matter; the more I praise Him, the more He Gives me reasons & testimonies to praise Him.

I didn’t come from riches; I’ve seen the kind of poverty I hope many of you never see; there were days that I didn’t have food to eat; days I would walk for miles because I didn’t have transport fare; days I couldn’t sleep from so much sadness & worry, so much pain and despair; days that I would worry about how I would return the N5k I borrowed from my mum’s meager teacher’s salary; days I wondered how to go on; when my life would turn around. I turned 30 and I was still struggling. But you see, in all of this, there was one thing I never failed to do, work hard & then PRAISE Him. And for that, God faced me one day and has since never departed from me.


Now listen to me pls. When you want to give up, when it looks like the world has turned it’s back on you, in the midst of pain & sorrow, please never ever fail to praise God. The praises and prayers that come out of your mouth will cause God to step in; to fight on your behalf. Tell Him constantly, please don’t pass me by, don’t turn your eyes against me and then lift your hands and start to praise Him.


He’s the only one who can show His power through your storm. The only one greater than any calamity. So keep praising Him. And keep working hard.
My prayer for you today is; may the praises of God never depart from your mouth and may He bless the works of your hands. Have an amazing week ahead.
