Two blood brothers, Ayodeji Obadimeji, 18 and Saheed Obadimeji, 19, have been arrested with a fresh human head identified as that of a 10-year-old boy that was declared missing , at Tunde Baogun street, Shepati area of Ibeju Lekki, Lagos. .

The siblings who admitted to have committed the act, told policemen during interrogation that they were contracted by one Sodiq Abefe, to get a human head, with a promise to pay them N200,000. .
.
The duo were alleged to have lured the unsuspecting boy identified as Joseph Makinde, by sending him to buy them a bottle of drink on Tuesday. There were however different accounts as to how the Primary School pupil met his unprepared end. .
.
A version for the account alleged that immediately he took the bottle of soft drink to the Oladimejis, one of them smashed a hard object on his head, causing him to slump, before cutting off his head. .
.
Another version alleged that he was strangled as he turned to leave, upon delivering the of drink. .
.
Explaining how the suspects were arrested, spokesman for the Lagos State Police Command , Chile Oti, said: .
.
“On November 27, 2018, at about 8.30pm, a team of Anti-kidnaping personnel of the Lagos State Police Command on routine patrol between Ajah/Epe expressway, apprehended the duo in possession of fresh human head. .
.
The torso has been recovered from an uncompleted building located at Shapati and effort is being made to arrest the said Sodiq Abefe who allegedly contracted the duo to commit the heinous crime.“

PDP’s former spokesman, Olisa Metuh, told a Federal High Court in Abuja, yesterday, that he could no longer feed his family because his bank accounts have been frozen by EFCC.

Metuh said he learnt early yesterday that no debit order was placed on his accounts on Monday night, when he tried unsuccessfully to make a transaction in one of the accounts.

The ex-PDP spokesman spoke while testifying at the resumed hearing in his trail. Metuh is being tried, with his company, Destra Investment, on charges of money laundering.
.
.
Metuh, who is testifying as his own witness, said the freezing of his accounts has made it difficult for him to either feed his family or buy items as common as water and pain-reliving medicine like Panadol.
.
.
Metuh associated the freezing of his accounts with his ongoing trial, in which he is accused of unlawfully receiving N400 million from the Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA) in 2014.
.
.
He queried why the EFCC would freeze his accounts, having allegedly seized his assets earlier. Metuh said what the EFCC earlier seized included assets with the Asset and Resource Management Company Limited and his funds in other banks.
.
.
He said the action of the EFCC has denied him access to his funds worth more than the amount at stake in the trial. Metuh noted: “They have alleged in this case that N400 million was stolen. Why would they not limit it to that amount?
.
.
I don’t know how I am going to feed my family? I don’t have access to any money at all. I am ready to end this case and submit myself to the judgment of this court.”

The November 15, 2018, attack on Wizkid’s bodyguard, Roy Emmanuel Obinna, at club DNA in Lagos, had to do with the debt incurred by the music star, an Igbosere Magistrates Court has heard.

The revelation was made, yesterday, during the arraignment of the Chairman of Poshhills Entertainment, Olufemi Olusanya, aka Femi Posh and a bouncer, David Afari, for allegedly stabbing Roy.
.

According to Vanguardngr, the bodyguard was allegedly beaten while he was trying to pay part of Wizkid’s N15million debt. Posh, 38, and Afari 29, are facing a three-count charge bordering on conspiracy, unlawful assault and grievous bodily harm.
.
.
It was gathered that Roy, had on November 15, gone to DNA to settle the bill that his boss was owing, when he was attacked by the defendants.
.
.
It was also learned that Wizkid owed the nightclub the sum of N8million, and also a pool party bill of N7 million, which his bodyguard had gone to settle, when Posh called Afari to beat him up and also used a broken glass to injure him.
.
.
During the arraignment of the duo, the police prosecutor, Inspector Joseph Jimoh, told the court that the offences committed is punishable under sections 411, 173 and 245 of the criminal laws of Lagos State 2015.
.

However, the duo pleaded not guilty to the charges filed against them. Their lawyer, D. Mustapher, urged the court to admit the defendants to bail on a liberal term, as steps are already being taken to settle the matter, adding that one of the steps being taken is the footing of the complainant’s medical bills.

Consequently the Magistrate Y. O Aro-Lambo, who stood in for Magistrate O. O. Oshin, granted the defendants bail in the sum of N500,000 each. The case was thereafter adjourned till January 17, for mention.
