You were almost there, adding my two cents, it's formula goes thus:
1.7 *(total no of ATRS for last year + total no of Advisory for last year) * 2/3. If advisory has taken 1/3 then we bear 2/3 of the increase.
Therefore, going by last year estimates you provided, we have : 1.7 *(53+60)*2/3= 128.067 ~ 128 persons will be taken this year. QED.

lol PwC will always delay you and put you in suspense. The deal had been signed and you guys are resuming September. The numbers of intake will be more than last year. Almost 170% of that of last year. Advisory taken almost a third of the number already leaving Tax and Assurance with the remaining. We usually have more females than males but can't say for this year since the males are now waking up from slumber . All in All welcome to PwC as you pick up your offer letters in some days. The firm is full of fun and triumph.

See you there but remember PwC is not for all and for those that will not make it the sky is your limit. Getting to the Grande finale isn't beans.
