Are u doing it urself? Why not go to a cyber cafe to do ur online clearance. They will do it better and charge u a token.

I want to get get a little clarity about the date fixed for each person to do his physical clearance.

Pls does that mean that each person schedule for a particular date will get everything done for the physical clearance and get cleared that same day?

haven't seen any official date, but acceptance fee payment, alongside online clearance, still goes on during physical clearance. I did mine about one week into the physical clearance last time.

This is a serious issue. If it is possible for me to falsify my age I would have done that. Still waiting for xfire to trash this out for us to know what to do cuz am in this category too.

Something has always bothered me and thats the issue of Age. Many employers when looking to employing people they always give a particular age range like not older than 26yrs or 27yrs and this has been a great hinderance to most fresh graduates who must have crossed that age range required for a particular job.

How can those who are 30yrs old and above manage to get employed for a graduate training position in all these O & G companies or get employed for a particular job position as a fresh graduate who is above 30yrs?

That has always been an issue in my mind.

Thats it...some dude dey put fear for person body. Wen d name clearly show no difference. One is written in full while it was abbrevated in the other.

But my own aspect is that u know ur surname come first follow by ur first name then middle name.

I have my name as Samuel Ojo right from primary 1 till I wrote my waec. I was nt using my middle name all these while. But during the jamb I was forced by the cafe attendant who did my registration to present to him my middle name so I asked him to put the initial alphabet A to represent my middle name without writing it in full. Now my admision is bearing Samuel Oko A. While all my documents plus Waec bears Samuel Ojo without the A. I want that A to be removed. Do I have any problem with that if I fill the correction form so that it can be removed so that my uniben portal will display Samuel Ojo.?

Bro I want my middle name to be removed from my admision. Have been using just two names right from time bt during the jamb the initial Alphabet letter of my middle name was added in the middle name space i.e A=alfred my admision is now bearing Samuel Ojo A. But the A which is d initial is nt on my rest documents like waec cuz I want it to be removed and all my affidavits are bearing Samuel Ojo. So if I fill correction form during physical clearance I hope it can be removed?

Be a man. U are the man and she is the woman. Man dictate what goes on in any relationship even though once a while a man can still allow a woman to have her own say. But right now do not panic too much. Be bold and tell her what u want. Sit her down. Talk to her like a man. Bro I was once in this type of situation in the past. All u need to do is talk to her that u can't share her with any other guy being offline or online. That if she truly loves u then she can do away with all those guys she share emotional love with. That is double dating and it could lead her to cheating on u one day.

Bro u suppose know that is what is in jamb that wil appear in post utme na. Wen filling post utme ur jamb score wil appear and d name one use in jamb is what wil also appear in ur post utme. I tot u know all these already. I use Samuel OJo A. Thatsd name dat is in my jamb and thats what also appear in post utme. U know wen filling post utme once u put i ur jamb number all ur info wil appear in d university portal like ur jamb score. D name u use date of birth. We didn't refill names. Is what is in jamb dat appeared in d post utme.

Don't have birth certificate. It is declaration of age I have. But the name has always been samuel Ojo right from time. Hav not been using my middle name. It was during the Jamb that the Cafe boy went and demanded for middle name. I told him I don't use my middle name in my document and my waec is nt bearing my middle name. He insisted that I supply a middle name so I asked him to put the initial letter of my middle name so he slot it in. But all my credentials both d declearation of age and the rest documents are all bearing the Samuel Ojo. Cuz I wasn't initially using that middle name of a thing right frm time even though d cafe boy demanded for it am not stil going to use it cuz is nt in my waec bt is in my jamb. What do u advice?

U will fill correction form during physical clearance thats all. But make sure all ur documents start wit ur surname

Even if u do not have BC u can still use affidavit of Decelaration of age. Thats why it was stated Birth certificate/Affidavit of declaration of age. That was unnecessary worriness.

For the name aspect. What if someone Waec bear Samuel Ojo and his jamb bears Samuel Ojo A will that be an issue? If filling the legibility form should he fill the samuel Ojo or Samuel Ojo A? Or he should just fill d one in d waec which is samuel Ojo later during physical clearance he wil fill correction form to remove d 'A'? Being that d A is d initial letter of d person middle name and all his credentials carries samuel Ojo witout d middle name initial letter ''A''

I will advise u as my own sister. We all have passions in life yes we all know that. One can be happy in any job one does if one make the most out of such job.
Happiness is not limited to a particular field of study as long as whatever job one does is able to put food on one's table.

Medicine is a nice course yes we all know that but not and I quote: ''the most lucrative of all careers''.

Medicine involves alot of time, energy and years to get to the peak and apogee if you must enjoy it to the fullest. For those who are already Docs, many had confirmed it that if they are given a 2nd chance to study Medicine they won't opt for it cuz most of them have little or no time for their spouse and relations for the fact that they are always in the Theatre carrying out one surgery or the other or carrying out one diagnostic procedure or the other. Time is not their friend.

If at all u truly want the MBBS then be ready to sacrifice your time and energy to get to the end of it. It is a lovely career only for the dogmatic ones. The die hard adamant ones so to say. You should be ready to read 12hours per day.

But if I were you, I would stay put with Electronics course. I believe the passion for MBBS was nurtured out of ur childhood fantasies. As u grow older u will get to know that life is not truly about what u study but what u can make out of what u have studied. Anyone can be successful in any field.

Continue with the electronics course cuz a bird in hand is worth more than two in the Bush.

However, not withstanding, follow your heart and back it up with hard work and the sky shall be ur limit.

Hmm my little contribution is that all that glitters is not gold.

So many folks follow the crowd. Some wanted to study MBBS because they think it is lucrative which is a wrong reason for anyone who truly wants to study MBBS.

They may tell u that they have passion for it. But deeply within them it is not actually passion but influence from friends or relations who want them to study that course.
Do u know that every year up to 90 students get admitted in MBBS? But in the end u see just 20 to 25 graduating and get inducted. Where are the remaining students? Most withdrawn for the fact that they repeatedly fail their MB exam.

Before one can study MBBS he must deny him or herself of so many things to be able to scape through. Even after scaping through one must climb up the ladder to become a specialist or a consultant for one to fully enjoy what medicine truly entails. And that requires many years of study with so many exams to be written.

Nonetheless, passion should go with lots of hard work and endurance.

Success is not the measure of one's career in life but one's ability to satisfy people's needs. And once a need is satisfy money will keep coming in.

I will advise her to finish the course she is already doing. She is already in 300level. That looks more promising than going for MBBS that will suck number of years from her. What if she withdraw along the line due to not being able to pass one MBBs exam or the other?

I think so cuz is a new innovation. Even if there is no new faculty. Pub admin can be in the faculty of management science. But nonetheless, u guys should follow what u see in ur kofa page. During clearance everyting will be made clear to u that are in that department.

It was recently they separated the two courses. They should have notified u guys. It was a friend who is in Pol sci & public admin told me that the two courses has been separated. They are now pol sci department and Public admin department with new H.O.D for pub admin. But I wonder how they are going to go about it for those that prefer pol sci to pub admin.

Confirm the H.O.D office of ur department first from old students. I don't know wether is in Ekenwa or Ugbowo.

now i was offered admission into department of "public administration" faculty of administration. In uniben pol sci and pub admin is the same department and there is no faculty of administration.

They newly splitted the two course. They are now a separate courses in Uniben. No more together

By God's grace I was admitted into Chemical Engr., a friend of mine was admitted last year, he told me that he made a mistake of sending his transcript to d department through his poly & adviced me not to make such mistake. so d trancript must be forwarded to d registrars office den from there they'll forward it to ur respective departments. someone talked about submitin transcript personally, my dear, its not done though I dnt knw of ur sch but in PTI, U can never see d transcript at all.

It will be easier to forward it straight to the H.O.D of ur department. Forwarding it to the Registrar Office is a long process my brother. If u do that u still need to go to the Registrar office to confirm if ur Transccript has arrived his office which to me is a longer process. While not just forward it to the H.O.D office of ur department? Cuz they are the one that need ur transcript not the registrar. Cuz in ur transcript they do not know the course ur were admitted into there by taking a longer process to sort each individual department out. They may even make the mistake of forwarding ur transcript to the wrong department. While not just forward it to ur H.O.D office to avoid complication?

When I requestd mine I told my school to forward it to the Registrar but later a staylite told me not to make that mistake cuz it Could delay me that I should tender it to the H.O.D of my department. He took his straight to his department well sealed last year.

Transcript is a confidential document. A student can take it to the school himself but do not open it cuz it will be seal. Once the seal is still intact u gat no problem. Is when the seal seems like something that has been opened thats when one gat a prob. So do not touch. Take it down as it is sealed. Don't open it.
