NeilOssai:who did u know? Is the Okowa a sincere politician ? Is he trying? What has he done for Delta state so far? |
Madumere17:Thats it |
Madumere17:Once clearance start and u are in Benin go straight to ur department u were admitted in to confirm if ur transcript has arrived. There is a list where everyone name that has sent his transcript will written on. Once ur transcript arrive ur department ur name will be written on that list. So if ur name is not found on the list the day of the clearance that means the transcript hasn't gotten to ur department. It is that list the clearance officer will check for those that sent their transcript. |
simba1:Why the crossing in the first place? They are the same and related. It is during 500level that BDS students focus more on their area of calling. They all do the same rotation and all that. Don't waste time to be thinking of hw to cross frm Dentistry. Cuz there is no essence. BDS can do everytin MBBS can do cuz they are like brother and sister , Nephew and Niece, and Uncle and Aunty. Salary wise, they have the same salary structure. In Abroad Dental Doc work is as flexible as anything with a working hours of 37hrs per week. To me if u are already in BDS no need of crossing. |
simba1:Not just strike alone. MBBS has herculean syllabus. A very tedious type of syllabus. And I guess some levels take longer time duration to conclude. Especially 3 & 400level. i stand to be corrected tho |
humblejimo:In her Waec or jamb.? |
Madumere17:Bro what will they be using ur transcript for in final year? It is highly needed for ur Admission clearance not in ur final year of ur schooling. The reason is; ur department is the body that need ur transcript to check the courses u did in ur previous studied course (ND) and grade obtained. One of my ND predecessor told me that I should take my transcript straight to my department cuz if u allow d school to send it u wil stil need to monitor it till it gets to ur department. Thats a longer process to me. I have already applied for my transcript. In my application I told the school to forward it to the Registrar of University of Benin office. It was after I sumitted the application for my transcript before calling that my predecessor and he mocked me that what will my transcript will be doing with the Registrar? That it is not the Registrar that need my transcript that it is the H.O.D office of my department I should submit it to. I murmured: Ignorance is a disease lol. I will later go to my school to tell them to give it to me to carry it myself to Uniben well sealed. Now is the time. In the clearance some people will be chanced simply because they haven't submitted their transcript. Without ur transcript u won't be cleared cuz they need it to clear u. Thats Uniben for u. |

Bobbyzain:Ya thats the amount to get any of ur jamb details corrected. Is the amount too small? As per the time it will take, I do not know. But it won't exceed 1 month. Now is the time to act. Hav already submitted my application in jamb office along wit photocopies of my affidavit. Wen I got there I saw that 10 people had submitted their applications each wit different problem. Some filled wrong Local Government, wrong date of birth and others mispelt their names. All these will be corrected by jamb |
Isaactop9:When u were filling ur post ume did u notice that u didn't refill ur personal details like ur name age and all dat? It is what jamb have that uniben wil hav too. They link ur jamb to ur post utme details. Uniben used ur details in jamb. Did u notice dat wen u were registering ur uniben post ume..d person dat register it only ask for ur jamb Reg No? And immediately he put in ur jamb Number all ur details appear in uniben portal? So what appear in jamb is what will appear in Uniben. If they correct it it wil reflect in uniben portal too. |

Isaactop9 ya u can go to jamb office for correction of mispelt name if u can't go to Abuja urself. I myself wrote an application letter to jamb to get my date of birth corrected. The letter will be sent from Jamb zonal office in the state u live to Abuja with a fee of N2500. Ur mispelt name will be corrected. The letter will pass through the Co-ordinator zonal office down to the Deputy Director Jamb National HeeadQuarter Bwari Abuja then finally to the Registrar/Chief Executive. So when u are addressing ur aplication letter u will address it to those 3 offices by writing the 3 address one after the other. Once ur application get to Abuja ur data will be corrected as stated by u. So u need to explain d correction that should be made very well. U will also attach any neccessary document to make dem understand ur application better. |

For those who are not sure of the date of birth they used on their WAEC Or NECO should go to their various school to get their original certificate before it is too late. Your statement of result will not be used if u wrote ur o'level 2yrs ago cuz the original O'level cert will be demanded from u for the fact that the original had been in their various schools for collection. So go and get urs to be sure of ur date of birth in it if it rhyme with the one u used in ur jamb. If it does not rhyme all u need to do is to change the one of jamb to rhyme with the one of ur Waec by going to jamb office with an affidavit of the age found on ur waec for them to correct it to match with the one of waec before clearance start thats all. Cuz jamb will correct it then send it to the school. But if u want to wait till clearance start , u wil be given a correction form as I was told and that correction form must be approved first before u will be notify to proceed with ur clearance. All these while ur clearance will be on pending then u will be the last person to be cleared when exam is almost getting close and that may affect ur result in one way or the other. So the best method which I think now is to go to jamb office now that there is still time so that jamb will correct it themselve and send it to the school before clearance start. I know that will still involve little money tho but is the best way to make u clear with ur course mate and start lecture when ur course mates are starting their lectures. Two heads are better than one. By tomorrow I wil start my movement as I won't want to clear late. Thanks |
As we all know, so many persons do make mistakes in their date of birth during jamb registration and this do affect lots of persons during school clearance. So many schools are very strict when it comes to date of birth demanding that your o'level date of birth match and concise with your date of birth filled in your jamb. Now, here comes lots of us having the same issue of different D.O.B in both O'level and jamb. We want staylites who had faced this same issue to advice us how to correct this problem to make sure that one does not get delayed to get cleared during school clearance. My little suggestion is: to correct the date of birth in jamb to match with the one of your o'level certificate. How do we do that? A staylite adviced that you sworn an affidavit of declaration of age with the age found on your O'level and take the affidavit to jamb office to get the date of birth corrected to match with the one sworn on your affidavit which also match with the one on your O'level certificate. We all need more advice on how to get this done. For staylites who had faced same issue could also tell us how they were able to rectify this odd problem to be able to have a stress free clearance without any hinderance cuz it will be bad for us not to be cleared on time when others will be cleared. The reason for this thread is to advice us having date of birth issue on our jamb on how to get it corrected. |
efedua:My real age is on my waec. I will only correct the one on jamb. Someone adviced me to sworn an affidavit with the one on Waec and take it to jamb office as fast as possible so that they will correct the one of jamb to match the one on my waec. I don't know if jamb do correct date of birth fr those having issue wit date of birth This is a serious issue o. I just pray jamb will correct it o as I will go to their office with a sworn age declaration affidavit |
chidarlus and others, I have a serious issue now. I don't know wether it will be as serious as I think it to be. The issue is that I collected my Original Waec certificate today and found out that the date of birth I used in the WAEC Is different frm d one I used in my DE jamb. What will happened to me during clearance wit dis issue? Will this detail me being cleared on time? Has any staylite faced dis issue before? Hw did they solve it? Were they cleared after filling the correction form? These are the many questions that bother my mind right now. |
odizeey kasala don burst o. I just collected my ORIGINAL Waec certificate today but found the date of birth to be different frm d one I used in jamb. Date and month are d same but the year is different. D year I used for my Waec is 3yrs above the one I used for my jamb. Will that correction form be able to solve dis issue? I am restless now. |
Guys I am in abig poo now. I went to collect my Original Waec certificate today nd I found out that the date on my Waec is different from d one I used on jamb. Have I forfeited my Admision cuz of date of birth? What can I do abt it now? Will swearing affidavits solve it? I am Dead o! |
odizeey:Thanks.. Two of my names are consistent surname and first name both in Waec and Jamb. If I go by what u said now dat means I won't have issue clearing as my two names concise in my waec and jamb not minding d initial of my third name I later added to my jamb as seen above. I really want to have a stress free Clearance o. I told that guy that filled my jamb nt to add d initial of my third name he refused to listen to me. Cuz all these why I hav nt been using my middl name. As he insisted that witiout my middle name my jamb processing wil nt go through. That was wen I asked him to add d initial of my middle name he did and it processing went through. But since den I was nt comfortable wit it cuz I hav nt been using that initial of my third name all these while. |
PrincesAsinya:Do not bypass the rest of d post that lead to this and quote me. Go back and highlight to me where u see any form of me being vexed in my post and bolden it for me to see it clearly as I took my time to analyse all the previous post. Maybe u didn't read my analysis before quoting. I was also giving my own opinion as u said he is giving his own opinion. So where did u see vexation in my post? Pls kindly show it to me with bolded words |
odizeey:What does the correction form entails? Is it for those that have mispelt names or those that later add a third name to their Jamb instead of d normal two names they used in their Waec? Tell us abt it |
HonourablePomk:If by now u still do not know what conk means in Nigeria slangs then I must say u ain't A real Nigerian. Pls take note non Nigerian School fees is the highest try and declare that u are not a Nigerian then I will agree that u do not know what a Conk means. |
odizeey:My middle name was also abbreviated not in my Waec bt in my jamb. My Waec carried just my two names surname and my first name while my Jamb carried my surname ; first Name and the abbreviation of my middle name. Waec : Samuel Obi Jamb Samuel Obi B I don't know wether to stil sworn an affidavit even though it shows that am d same person in both waec and jamb due to d the abbreviation of my middle name I later added to my jamb. Any staylite with similar case could contribute to lead us through. Any need for affidavit? |
odizeey:Which correction form? Ok what abt those that have names issue. Not that they mispelt their names o. Those that use two names in their Waec (Like Surname +First Name e.g Samuel Obi ) then later use 3 names in their jamb ( Like Surename + First Name + Middle Name E.g Samuel Obi Clement or Samuel Obi C ) will such people have any issue during clearance for the fact that they added their middle name during jamb registration but that middle name was nt in their Waec any issue? |
Agybabe:If u want to learn read what d OP is explaining to us. Girls will always be girls. There is no girl that a perfect player can't win. It baffles me alot when I see one of my Homie getting any type of girl interested in him. He doesn'tn just make dem get interested in him per se he sexually make them to beg him for sex both online and offline. It still baffles me today |
HonourablePomk:U should have told me that earlier and I would have given u a hard ''conk''. U r so lucky for escaping a conk from me |
Mexyz:We ain't quarelling I was only drawing people attention to include those info for those that haven't done their. Wether they include them or not everyone will still do the clearance but little things like that could later turn out to be important during the clearance as so many things had changed for the pasted 3yrs. I appreciate ur candid understanding |
Bobbyzain:The reason for the affidavit is to serve in the place of ur Local Gov of Origin for those who haven't gone to their Local Gov to do theirs. U can sworn it at any court to show that u are truly from that Local Gov u declared. Any affidavit swon in any court in Nigeria is accepted |
