I also doubt the workability of this plan because of the peculiar nature of Nigeria farmers. They will simply take your trainings, inputs e.t.c, use it for a while & abandon you. this is a little on the extreme, that you find it hard to comprehend something is no ticket to insults....what you need do is try and understand why. that I wouldn't do it is no licence for me to judge another man who would....I don't understand why but I believe it has it ways of strengthen bond and love and I also no we are not robot so sometime we think and behave irrationally, often time this irrational behaviour is sensed as caring and loving by the recipient.

See in some exceptional cases, where the mother was highly irresponsible and all the man had was his wife before the mother comes to beg his son for forgiveness.
