In my experience, the customer care will use words like "I promise you, this will be resolved" bla bla bla. But in reality most of those words they use appear to be a template they just copy and paste.

I don't usually have high hopes of them doing anything much especially when the protection period has elapsed. That is why I watch that protection period like a hawk and will pounce on the dispute button when it's about to run out and I don't have the goods or something not right with the goods received.

Hopefully, your case will be different.

It depends on the messages exchanged; what they're about and what responses seller gave. Remember also that some of them doesn't understand English (well). Someone once claimed a seller scammed him, but by the time he uploaded his messages with seller, we realised he was the one that erred!

I read descriptions and specifications, especially sizes and dimensions, well before ordering cuz of issues like this.

He may be lucky to get compensated by customer care.

That's another way of looking at it. I triple check dimensions, this made me buy a good digital vernier caliper so I can measure the parts I'm buying down to the nearest MM.

If after doing all these and contacting seller to confirm these, if you sell me a dud, then there is zero mercy from my end.

On your last statement, I've never seen a case of customer care compensating a customer after the protection period is out. All they do is hem and haw and try to placate the customer.

This type of seller won't refund the money. He won't even respond to his messages again. That's how they roll. Business is done.

Oh, it's too late. You should've opened the dispute when there is still time left. Of course, the seller won't reply you. That is why I'm just as insensitive and ruthless as them when you sell me a dud and I open dispute. No amount of "close dispute I'll give you discount on next order will make me budge." Especially when I perceive you are just a crooked seller trying to make a quick buck.

If there is no way to sell this part to recoup part of your money, ask for 100% of your money back. After all you have assurance via AliExpress chat (which you can screenshot when you open dispute) that the seller have assured you that the part will fit. In your dispute tell AliExpress that it'll cost you about $100 to send it back hence your reason to keep it.

I always avoid EMS if I can. I wonder why goods that go through them most likely than not always seem to attract a duty to be paid.

Nothing much to be explained here, solar panel oversizing is simply having a little bit more than enough solar panels needed to charge a particular battery. So you can also oversize battery, eg having enough battery to last for say 4 days in the event there is not enough sun or mains (NEPA) to charge the batteries.

So all these panels are connected to one MPPT SCC?

I have two growatt connected in parallel. The panels are shared between the two. I know I'm almost maxing out the max PV of 450v, but the wattage is still 4kw for each when it can do up to 6kw. I'm thinking of adding one more and running it as a three phase system and upgrading the battery.

I guess you've two 14.3kwh LFP battery banks connected in parallel otherwise 8kw pv maybe too much for a single 14.3kwh battery bank especially as you stated that the loads are not much.

I gave out my lead acid batteries. Bought EVE from China when there was no vendor, not that I know of, selling it here. Actually bought 32 nos of 3.2v 280AH EVE cells. Decided to use 16 and kept 16. Later sold the 16, should've kept it. Lol.

I like to oversize my solar panels so that I don't use batteries during the day. I use growatt.

A beginner can even start with 40A lead acid car battery. Some people just need lightings of 2 bulbs(10w) and phone charging. This set up can turn on tv on a sunny afternoon for few hours. Solar set up na small small.

I know of a friend who was desperate to charge just few phones. He got a crack pv ( Alaba version) , 20A cc ( very small in size), msw inverter, and normal AC cable instead of regular pv cables, with a 75a used car battery.

I like your friend. I liked the doggedness to go the renewable route. This system can only get better. Cheers.

They use this fake review strategy to attract the gullible ones. Do not buy that item. It will end in premium tear. I have warned you.

Like i said earlier, the card has been terminated some weeks back, the card in question is Klasha Black Card(Virtual dollar card)

I actually opened the dispute & won before it occurred to me that i have been using both Black card & Pink card simultaneously from Klasha before the termination of Black card, now that the card is no more & the items i purchased that i opened dispute on was made using the black card, what is my fate now, if og had occurred to me earlier, i would've made enquiries before commencing, now Aliexpress said my money will reach me between 3 - 10 days

I think the refund should hit your Klasha account. But if it didn't, contact the customer care.

You still have 15 days after purchase protection runs out to file dispute. Wait for protection to run out before you file a dispute to increase your chances of winning.
As long as the account attached to the card is still active, your refund will hit the account, card expiry got nothing on refund, unless the card the in question is a virtual card which is a gray area to me.
