Politics / Questions For The Gods Part 1. by mcvize(m): 4:25am On Aug 14, 2017
Dear gods (if there is anyone around at all), I have a few things that are bordering my mind and I will like to pour them out as questions; I do hope that one of the gods if not all will help provide answers as soon as possible or we the humans will have to find the answers in our hearts and initiate a solution. After all, gods were humans and super humans will become gods when they die
POOR MEDICATION
POOR MEDICATION
What is bothering me is about Nigeria! I see our country Nigeria today with growing concerns by the minute. Let’s start from our dear President’s absence due to poor health. From my heart, I wish him quick recovery, but what is happening to our health sector? Is there no qualified doctor in Nigeria to treat Mr President? Even with Yar’adua.
When will our health sector mature to be able to care for our leaders?
Yet we roll out more than 5000 Medical graduates in a year in Nigeria.
Should their lecturers hide their faces in shame that the number one citizen of Nigeria lacks confidence in their abilities?
What can I say? Or is our President’s health politicised? By who? Could this be treason?
We have stakeholders in the health sector, professors in their rights. But are they competent?
Are they too old to think and rise to the challenge before them?
Are they laid back to sip from the cup, the blood of the poor, who cannot afford a trip abroad for treatment?
Where are we in the fight against malaria, polio, meningitis to mention a few?
Should I believe work is being done on it?

At least we should see some quantifiable results. It could be that their hands are tied. Who tied them? With what? Corruption? May be. It is the language of the old and a slang for the young. It means different things to different people, but is stealing public funds and using it for personal needs or collecting money from the government in the name of N Power without reporting to the station, not corruption? If yes, shouldn’t we call it a single name so that the old and the young will recognise it as a snake that should not be domesticated but fumigated?

There was a time in our history that our education was one of the best in the world. But society and civilisation have grown far above that reality. Shouldn’t our curriculum at all the levels be reviewed to remain relevant in the building of individuals that will engage society with enough tools to excel? Yet our colleges of education turn out students in their thousands.

Why do we have degrees and certificates? Is it not for the betterment of the society and the people who live in them? If I were an architect and cannot design structure that can meet the global standard, shouldn’t I hide my face in shame and refuse to use the name when I lack the substance? Sorry, dear gods that I am already answering some of these questions.

Business / How To Find And Influence Clients Through Social Media. by mcvize(m): 3:08am On Jun 11, 2017
I want you to know that 80% of impressions about products and services come from just 16.2% of people online.
That means there are about 11 million influencers out there.
Between them, collectively, through their tweets, updates, posts, and comments, they generate approximately 205 billion impressions about products and services each and every year.
Who are these people?
According to a Q4, 2014 study by Forrester Research, half are male and half are female.
73% of them are mobile Internet users.
Their average age is about 35.
But, here is the interesting part.
These aren’t people with tens of thousands or even millions of followers, friends, and connections. On average, they have a total of just 500 followers, friends, and connections, combined.
In other words, someone with 200 followers on Twitter, 350 followers on instagram, 300 friends on Facebook, and 37 connections on LinkedIn is classified as an influencer.
Perhaps you are one yourself.
The implication here is that social media marketers have huge access to influencers. If you are creating a social marketing plan, you don’t have to seek out the huge influencers, with hundreds of thousands of connections.
You simply need to reach out to a large number of people who have 537 connections or more.
Again, this turns things on their heads a little.
We expect that big numbers somehow equate to influence. But, that isn’t the case.
This is why smaller companies — and individuals — can make good use of social media. You don’t need the monster gurus on your side. You just need to attract a tribe of modest influencers.
These researchers went on to discover that influencers with much smaller followings were far more likely to exert influence, by sharing information their followers were more likely to value and then share

The bottom line is, influence within social media is about authority and value, and not about numbers.

Business / How To Launch A Product On Social Media With Zero Capital In 24 Hours by mcvize(m): 12:30am On Jun 11, 2017
To write for planned announcements and launches, you’ll have some warning. They are part of a plan. In fact,
you can write some tweets and Facebook updates in advance and have their publication automatically scheduled,
with tools like TweetDeck and HootSuite. In other words, write them all in advance, schedule their automatic delivery,
and relax in the knowledge that you don’t have to get up early in the morning to send one of them manually.
No matter what kind of product you are planning to launch or put out there, you and I know that using the Social Media
platform is the simplest yet cheapest means you can think you.
One thing you should take note of is this make sure each of your write up carries an Image that will engage people
and will want to make them share your tweet or update, you get the gist?
So without further I do, let’s get into the meat and potatoes of this piece

Here is an example of a sequence of launch tweets or Update:

3:00 p.m. – Crazy day. Making sure I have everything lined up for big announcement tomorrow. Watch this space! : )

7:00 a.m. – Product X now available! Save N5, 000 if you order today! Please RT/Share [URL] / [Phone No]

10:00 a.m. – Wow...if my servers weren’t so great, they’d be crashing! : Product X flying off the shelf. Still time to save 5,000. [URL/ Phone]

10:15 a.m. – Thanks Mike! Let me know if you have any questions. RT @Mike_Kunle, I got it! Can’t wait to dig in and get started.

11:00 a.m. – Janice, DM me your # and we’ll talk. @thejanicelady Nick, can I get a discount if I buy several copies?

2:00 p.m. – Don’t forget, the 5 bonus items are all linked to in the confirmation email you receive after your payment has been processed. [URL]

2:45 p.m. – Yes, I’ll answer all and any questions in the member forum area. (Not got Product X yet? Save N5, 000 if you order today. [URL])

4:00 p.m. – BTW, if you love Product X, or have an audience that might, there is an affiliate program. Could make you big bucks! [URL]

5:00 p.m. – Here is the article I wrote last year...which became the inspiration for Product X! [URL]

5:30 p.m. – Oops, almost forgot to take my daughter to her piano lesson. Back in 30.

6:00 p.m. – Just 6 hours to go before the N5,000 off discount expires! Check out Product X now. [URL]

You get the idea.
There are a few things to take note of here.
First, this is just an example of the tweets/update that could be sent out over the 24-hour period. This approach would work
for entrepreneurs selling their products. But the same, conversational, one-on-one approach would still work for a small company.
Many companies designate an individual to be their social media front person. And, that person communicates with prospects
and customers in this same, conversational way.
Also note that this is launch day. All the tweets and Update are about Product X. It’s okay to do that for a special day,
but not every day. Other days should be devoted to delivering value, asking and answering questions, retweeting other
people’s stuff, and so on. You build yourself a reputation over time, so that you CAN, occasionally, devote a whole day to
talking about your own stuff.
And, you’ll see that not every tweet is a regular message. There is an RT there. There is an answer to someone else’s tweet.
There is an invitation to DM the author. There is even a personal aside about a piano lesson.
So, even when you do have a “promote your stuff” day, you keep it within the conversational and interactive style you
employ every day.
This is very different from delivering top-down promotional messages with a traditional marketing launch.
The success of your launch day with Social Media will depend less on what you write on that day, and more on the reputation
you have created for yourself over the preceding months.
I’m going to say that again, just in case you skimmed over it.
The success of your launch day with Social Media will depend less on what you write on that day, and more on the reputation
you have created for yourself over the preceding months.

It is because you have built that reputation that you can use conversational language to promote your product. You are simply
leveraging the attention and trust you have worked so hard to build over time.
Okay, I’m going to repeat that one, too.
It is because you have built that reputation that you can use conversational language to promote your product. You are simply
leveraging the attention and trust you have worked so hard to build over time.
Do you see how different social media writing is from conventional marketing writing?
With conventional marketing writing, or copywriting, everything depends on the power of your copy on a single page delivered
on a single day. With social media writing, you are engaging your audience over the longer term. You build trust by being authentic and helpful,
and by delivering real value.

Celebrities / For Smart Ladies: Simple Tips For Finding A Cheaper Look-a-like Fashion Outfit by mcvize(m): 5:45pm On Oct 27, 2016
If you are captivated by the glamorous world of celebrities, then look no further because you can simply dress and look just like a celebrity. You just need to find a cheaper look-a-like outfit to achieve any of the looks of celebrities.

1. Going Shopping at Inexpensive Stores
Going shopping is necessary for buying a cheaper look-a-like outfit. It is only through shopping that you can purchase more full outfits and single pieces. A tank top, turtleneck, or a jacket can simply be mixed up in with wardrobe. This is better than buying a complete celebrity outfit.
Shopping at inexpensive stores is recommended for getting cheap clothes. It is also a good idea to search for a cheaper look-a-like outfit at vintage stores to find something trendy and big.

2. Searching on Reputable Websites
By searching on reputable websites, you will surely find a cheaper look-a-like outfit. You may possibly find a fancy and gorgeous pair of sunglasses that show of your celebrity looks. Go glitzy. There are many diamonds, studs and cool aviators. Apart from that, there are black and big white sunglasses that help you achieve that Mary-Kate Olsen look.
Once you have your celebrity sunglasses, you can start wearing them wherever you go. You may even start strolling down to the supermarket wearing them.
The good thing about these websites is that are free to choose big accessories and big scarves. They can hang around the waist, at the back or even at the neck.
There are sequined shirts, jeans, boots, scarves and shirts that you find at affordable rates. These add glamour to your appearance and make you look your best, just like a celebrity. There are many previous or present outfits worn by celebrities that you can search for on these websites. You will surely find the best outfits at the best price possible.

3. Online Fashion Retailers
By using online fashion retailers, you will increase your chances of finding a cheaper look-a-like outfit. They sell the most inspiring clothing. Actually, these online fashion retailers are considered to be “throwaway fashion stores”. This is due to the reason that they are where you will find the best for the cheapest. They have the best imitated and the most updated trends of outfits
Just because it is older does not mean that it is useless. If you compare cheap look-a-like outfits from online retailers to the expensive stores on the street, their quality is just the same.
It is best to combine and match the designer pieces along with the throwaway fashion pieces. Doing so helps you to get the best of both worlds. For instance, you can find an expensive piece of jewelry and match it with a celebrity-inspired dress so you can look sophisticated and glamorous. By means of changing and chopping your accessories, you can certainly transform your dress into many various outfits.
You cannot simply escape these celebrities; they are on billboards, magazines and television. You can afford designer clothing so you can feel and look like a celebrity.
Online fashion retailers are making exact copies of recent celebrity trends that look the same. By simply shopping from online fashion retailers, you can search for celebrity dresses. The internet has many cheap celebrity dresses that appeal to your taste and preference.
By choosing the cheaper items, you can buy far more. Instead of purchasing an expensive celebrity dress, purchase a bag and a pair of shoes for a completely new outfit.
By shopping online, you will be provided with better choices This is because there are many shops from where you can choose celebrity dresses. There are retailers who have their ethical standards and make certain that they produce celebrity clothes at a reasonable price.

Instagram User Unuigbokhai Sandra shared screenshots from the chat she had with a 'God fearing & very religious' Man who wanted to help her secure a Job. Apparently, to get her the Job, she needed to either date or promise to marry him. He declined suggesting sex because he felt she would be too 'boring' in bed. When she politely declined his requests, his ego got hurt and he bitterly started insulting her. See more screenshots as you continue .

Business / Time To Go Viral And Get Downlines To Your Mlm Fast -see How by mcvize(m): 10:53am On Apr 12, 2016
The world is shifting always– the days of “9-5” and the “security” of working for a big
company, which was once a mainstay is disappearing rapidly.
Our values are also shifting as a society – we don’t like to spend as much time traveling
to and from work, and instead we like to spend time with our loved ones and acquaintances.
People prefer to earn money for themselves instead of for someone else.
This is the case for many people in the world. However, starting and getting your own
business to be a success is not easy since statistics show that more than eighty percent
of such Businesses don’t make it.

Why do most of these networking marketing businesses not succeed? Well, the reason might
be due to the inexperience of the people involved in it. Most likely, the people who
began these businesses were not trained properly.
Similarly, the industry did not have the believably in the past as it has today among
people.Recently, a lot of powerful business people and entrepreneurs have spoken out about how
“true and feasible” the Network Marketing business model is today.
Nevertheless, it is not easy for people without the correct tools. One of the best
mediums to attract potential prospects and clients to your Network Marketing business
is with the internet. It is now just as possible to sponsor somebody into your business
from America or Australia, as it is from any other part of the world. Isn’t that just so exciting?
What makes it more interesting is when you do it correctly you have the chance to establish
even stronger business relationships online than you are able to off line. This is due
to the strategies you use in attracting more individuals with similar interests, like in
their goals, mind-set, ambitions and values. The true world of network marketing might feel relentless.
Success is rewarded. Faults are penalized.

The secret behind any huge growth in any network marketing is “Viral Marketing”.
Viral marketing is like “word-of-mouth marketing” on steroids.
Basically, you offer something of value, free, and you let others spread word about your
item. Soon, if the offer is valuable enough your offer “goes viral” – and soon, your
offer have spread, from person to person, thousands of times.
You’ve probably heard the term “viral video”. Someone posts a funny video of their rat…
or maybe a heart-touching video of a Grandpa and Grandson… and those who enjoy it email
it to their contacts, share it on Facebook and Twitter, or post it on a blog or forum.
Then, everyone who sees it, who also likes the video, can continue to share it in the
same manner. This type of person-to-person “viral” marketing can give a video, a person,
or even a company a lot of valuable free advertising.
You can use viral video, or create a viral PDF* report that interested MLM prospects which
they can read and pass around to others. In fact, everyone who reads my report or watched
my video receives “Lifetime Giveaway Rights” to the report. (I’ll explain how in a moment)
(*PDF stands for “portable document format. Your viral report should be in this format,
because it can be downloaded and read on Windows-based and Apple computers, as well as on
smart phones, tablets, and other devices.) Plus, embed a clickable link to your MLM replicated
website when someone downloads your
report/video, they can read it and share it. And, if they’re interested in your opportunity, they can
click the link inside your report – and their Internet browser will open up and take them to your MLM website.
Once there, they can investigate the company, the products, and the compensation plan. And,
if they like what they see, they can join online and be added your organization. Using this viral marketing method,
my one viral report…
Yes, it’s still being downloaded every day, by more and more people. In fact, I couldn’t
stop it if I wanted to. This report will exist online – and continue to drive traffic to
my MLM website for many months, even years to come. Even while I’m on vacation, my viral
report will be building my down-line. Now, let me show you how to create your own viral PDF report.

Business / Making Money From Others Overlooked Assets by mcvize(m): 2:35pm On Apr 01, 2016
Joint Ventures: How to Create Wealth from Others’ Overlooked Assets, Few believe me when I tell them of the fortunes they can make starting with nothing. Sometimes I feel as though I'm the only one with macroscopic glasses (to see the big picture) when examining businesses and the many opportunities for creating additional cash flow. Nearly every business I observed has no less than 3 (and often 10) different ways to almost immediately create additional cash flow from its existing efforts, clients, and advertisements. I'm going to share with you one of the simplest of these concepts, which I call joint venture or co-ventures. I assume you have no knowledge of marketing for the benefit of those of you who are unfamiliar with these marketing techniques. Let's begin. For sometimes now I've discovered many working marketing concepts and systems.

All of them are centered around one word: leverage! I want to show you how to use leverage to get greater profits and greater satisfaction out of every dollar (naira) spent and every effort expended.
Over the years, I've learned that every business has one need in common—the need to create more cash flow than is spent on overhead. Tens of thousands of businesses do this very successfully. Unfortunately, they overlook many opportunities to gain greater leverage and reap greater rewards from what they do. It takes just as much energy to create an advertisement that produces 100 sales (or leads) as it does to produce 1,000. In the next few pages I'm going to teach you one of the fastest and easiest ways for any business owner to increase his or her profits by as much as 300 percent and do so with nobility. One of the most ridiculous mistakes and oversights in marketing is the failure to recognize the true value of the relationship a business owner has with his or her customers, vendors, and others with whom they deal on a daily basis. Properly utilizing this overlooked asset can mean thousands, and often tens of thousands, of dollars (Naira) in increased revenue and goodwill. Let me explain. People making a purchase prefer to buy from someone they trust and who has treated them fairly in the past.
You might, with a well-crafted sales presentation, get a 1 to 3 percent response rate on the offer. However, if you go to the owner of that same list and structure a deal where the owner writes or presents the very same offer to the very same people, you will see a response rate that is so much higher it boggles the mind. I've seen response rates to this type of offer (call it an endorsed offer) that skyrocket to as high as 33 percent! This is an increase in response rate of between 1,100 to 3,300 percent! Accordingly, you can literally earn a fortune by showing others how to use this principle to create win-win deals. A good example of using this concept happened a few Christmases ago with a friend of mine who is in the pharmacy business. My client had approximately 10,000 customers on file all of whom loved and trusted him for the excellent service they had received over the years. However, I discovered my client had never ever used this incredible asset of trust in a noble win-win deal. Like too many businesspeople, my client was myopic (unable to see the big picture) in observing his own business. He failed to realize that although his business is selling pharmaceutical products and supplies, all his customers purchase many other products and services (dry cleaning, groceries, cars, insurance, accounting services, etc.)
The relationship with customers provides business owners with the incredible opportunity to use the endorsed offer. By doing a joint venture, whereby they recommend or refer their customers to another professional and noble company, they could share in a percentage of the profits from the newfound business they create for the company they endorse. In this particular situation, I learned that my friend was friendly with a jeweler in town, and Christmas was rapidly approaching. I saw an instant jackpot. (By the way, these deals can be created without a prior relationship with the vendor you will endorse.) Here's a brief overview of what can happen with joint ventures, or endorsed offers. I immediately contacted and interviewed the jeweler to get the "best offer" needed to create a letter for my pharmacy friend to share with his customers. I learned that this jeweler regularly flew to Dubai to purchase diamonds, emeralds, rubies, and other precious stones. More important, by teaming up with another jeweler in Abuja, this jeweler literally saved a fortune by buying in bulk. We drafted a sample sales letter something like the following:

Dear Customers and Friends,
Last week my wife and I were browsing through the many Christmas card to select a suitable Christmas card to mail to you, our customers, to express our appreciation for your patronage.
Of the many hundreds of Christmas cards available, we couldn't find a single card that expressed our heartfelt feelings and appreciation to our customers. After all, it is customers like you who helped us to send our two children to college and build our business to be one of the most successful pharmacies in the city. Frankly, I decided to say thank-you in a very special way—with actions, not words.
Let me explain.
One of my dearest friends, a local jeweler, has the largest selection of diamonds, rubies, emeralds, watches, and other inventory in the area, but more important, he has developed an incredible method of wholesale purchasing that allows him to save a fortune.
As we were talking, I explained how I wanted to do something very special for my friends and customers this Christmas to express my gratitude for their business. I further explained how I wanted to do

something that would benefit and thank them with actions rather than just words in a Christmas card.
After a bit of arm-twisting, my jeweler friend agreed to offer a 20 percent discount to my customers who show this letter during their holiday shopping! This discount applies to any purchase you make in his store this year. This is my special way of saying thank-you to my valued customers. Celebrities / End Time:church Of Beyoncé? See For Yourself by mcvize(m): 3:26pm On Mar 14, 2016
Could it be real? Have you heard of a new "church" called “The National Church of Bey” or Church of Beyoncé?. In this US Church, Beyoncé images are reportedly being worshipped as Christians worship Jesus. There are also statues of Beyoncé dressed as Pope, she has a prayer candle bearing her photo.

Beyoncé's childhood pastor Rudy Rasmus has defended Beyoncé with The words of Joshua 24:15 after Beyonce donated $7million dollars to his church. The founder of the church of Bey claims the number of its followers have increased!!!!
***hmmmmmm...!!!! Tried so hard to take my mind off this all morning since I saw it but it just won't go!

Crime / BE ALERT: Female Suicide Bombers Now Attack After Asking Water For Ablution by mcvize(m): 7:54pm On Dec 31, 2015
The Chief of Defence Staff, General Gabriel Olonisakin, has warned that female suicide bombers have deployed a new tactic to carry out their nefarious activity. Speaking at the end of year conference with principal staff officers of the Defence Headquarters yesterday Dec. 30th, Olonisakin said that female bombers now get easy access to people's homes by requesting for water to perform ablution.

Soon after receiving the water, they detonate the bombs strapped under their hijabs, killing and destroying lives and properties. He called on Nigerians to be very careful when attending to females asking for water for ablution or any other favours.

Webmasters / 7 Companies That Are Taking The Africa Business World By Storm(see Who Made It) by mcvize(m): 3:02pm On Nov 16, 2015
I want you to know that below list of business companies are my personal opinion and I carefully took time out to know little about each of them and I can say they deserve to be listed.

Here are 7 great companies that are taking the Africa business world by storm.

Konga

For facilitating e-commerce in Africa. Having raised around $100 million in investment since it launched in 2012, Konga has the potential to become an African e-commerce behemoth. But that’s not exactly what founder Sim Shagaya has in mind. “We don’t want to be Goliath,” he says. “We think the future in Africa belongs to a small army of Davids.” Konga, in other words, doesn’t want to be another e-commerce company, but enable other businesses to do e-commerce. Since opening up Konga Marketplace to small- and medium-size businesses via its SellerHQ marketplace in 2014, more than 10,000 traders have registered on the site. Konga, whose revenue grew 450% from 2013 to 2014, also launched its private logistics company KExpress last year, after its third-party courier partners were unable to cope with the thousands of daily orders the site generated

Eneza Education

For providing kids in rural Africa with a virtual tutor. The Kenyan startup, cofounded by two former members of Nairobi’s iHub community, creates educational content that kids in low-income rural areas can access on low-end cell phones. Through its “virtual classroom,” students between the ages of 11 and 18 can study subjects including math, science, and English, and take any of its 2,000 quizzes and more than 16,000 questions, with the option of a mini lesson if they score below 50%—all for the equivalent of 50 U.S. cents a month. They can also search Wikipedia by sending a text message, or ask teachers questions and receive a response within an hour. Teachers can also assign homework through the platform and receive reports on student performance. By the end of 2014, Eneza had more than 375,000 users across Kenya, up from 143,000 the previous year, including in northeastern Kenya, one of the poorest parts of the country. It hopes to reach more than 1 million students in rural Africa this year, and 50 million in the next five years in at least 10 different African countries

iROKOtv

For changing the economics of Nollywood. As one of the first African video-on-demand companies to stream Nigerian Nollywood movies legally, iROKOtv has shown investors the potential of an industry that accounts for around 1.4% of GDP in Africa’s biggest economy. The company, which has raised $25 million in venture capital investment, purchases the licenses to Nollywood movies and generates revenue through advertising and subscriptions. With more than 10,000 hours of Nollywood content, it claims to be “the world’s largest online catalogue of African broadcast entertainment.” But iROKOtv isn’t just popular with Africans: Only 11% of its subscribers are in Africa, and it has subscribers in 172 countries. Last year, iROKOtv began widening its appeal further by introducing Hollywood and Bollywood movies, telenovelas, and Korean soaps onto its platform—moves that, in fact, are geared toward increasing its subscription base in Africa, where people love international entertainment.

Leti Arts

For redefining entertainment in Africa. As one of the few interactive media studios in sub-Saharan Africa, Ghana’s Leti Arts is delivering entertainment content in largely unexplored genres. The startup, which received seed funding from the Meltwater Entrepreneurial School of Technology (see No. 6 on this list), develops mobile games and digital comics influenced by African history and folklore. In its flagship Africa’s Legends series, historical legends such as Ananse from Ghana, Wuzu the Masai, and Shaka from South Africa team up with fictional superheroes to battle crime, corruption, and dictatorship in Africa.

Meltwater Entrepreneurial School of Technology

For training and investing in entrepreneurs. Described by tech blogger and Ushahidi cofounder Erik Hersman as a “finishing school for tech startups,” MEST trains future entrepreneurs from Ghana and Nigeria by putting them through a two-year program that blends an MBA-style education with training in software development. Founded by Norwegian software entrepreneur Jørn Lyseggen, the school also invests in the best business ideas and teams that emerge from the training program, providing developers with $50,000 to $250,000 in seed funding for their businesses.

One Acre Fund

For improving the livelihoods of African farmers. Africa’s smallholder farmers are among the poorest people on the planet. Yet One Acre Fund is betting that the asset-based loans and training it provides its clients can help lift 1 million African farmers out of poverty by 2020. Instead of lending cash, One Acre Fund offers seed and fertilizer on credit to farmers living in remote areas. It trains them in agricultural techniques and helps them sell their harvests. It also offers flexible repayment, allowing clients to repay at any time in any amount throughout the year. At the end of 2014, One Acre Fund hit its target of serving 200,000 farmers across Kenya, Rwanda, Burundi, and Tanzania, and it expects to reach 300,000 by the end of this year.

Jobberman

For increasing access to job opportunities. Africa will have the world’s largest workforce by 2040, but high youth unemployment is currently the reality in many countries on the continent. Nigeria’s Jobberman, the largest employment website in sub-Saharan Africa outside South Africa, has 1.5 million registered users and aims to increase job seekers’ chances of getting hired by providing an alternative to recruitment agencies and old-fashioned word of mouth. “Jobberman is addressing the massive unemployment issue in sub-Saharan Africa by leveraging the Internet to give job seekers free access to employment opportunities in a region that has historically had limitations on the flow of both information and people,” says cofounder and CEO Ayodeji Adewunmi. Backed by Tiger Global, the U.S. investment firm, and Seek, the Australian jobs site, Jobberman features jobs in Nigeria and Ghana, a market it entered more than two years ago
What’s the Point?
One of the biggest excuses young people give for not starting a business is, “I don’t have an idea yet.”

They’re just sitting back and waiting for that big idea. You know, that one-in-a-million idea. They think it’ll fall out of the sky and into their lap when they least expect it. And that’s when they’ll get started.

If you want to be successful, just start selling something, anything. Figure out what people are buying and sell it to them. Michael started his journey by selling Pokémon cards to his schoolmates as an 8-year-old.

What you’re selling will likely change over time, but the principles will stay the same.

If you have been a victim before or your about to start a business and you’re like what are the things I should look out for, I congratulate you for your about to share part of the lies I have been told or I have discovered along the journey.

And most of this opportunity only works in the country of the producer, manufacturer or developer of business strategy, so always look out for businesses you can do that accepts people from your country or it can be operated in your country.

There are three factors that are necessary for everyone who wants to go into any business; these factors will help you proof the authenticity of any business before quitting.

-Believe In Your Self: this is very crucial when it comes to starting a business, lot of folks loose confident along the way and they quickly assume that a particular business is not working and at the end they give up too soon.
- Persistence: you should do your best in any given business; Learn the strategy and everything that is involve, take that extra step, make that extra call, go beyond the average you, and take necessary action before giving it up.
- Be Positive: something am not surprise when people make sales were others fail, the secrete is that they believe in themselves and are always positive about what they do.

Crime / Boyfriend Inserts Pepper Into Lover’s Private Parts In Lagos (photos) by mcvize(m): 4:44pm On Jun 22, 2015
A 34-year-old man, Solomon Ajisafe, has been arrested by the police for allegedly torturing his girlfriend, Tope Amuda, in the Igbo Olomu, Ikorodu West area of Lagos State.
PUNCH Metro learnt that Solomon, together with his mother, a leader in the Oodua People’s Congress, and some hoodlums flogged Amuda with canes for alleged adultery.
Our correspondents were told that afterwards, she was taken round the community, before ground pepper was allegedly inserted in her private parts.
The incident happened last Sunday at about 7pm on Aminu Toyin Street.
A resident, who identified herself only as Adunni, told PUNCH Metro that attempts made by neighbours to stop the torture was rebuffed by the OPC.
Adunni said Amuda, a 25-year-old Osun State indigene, lost her mind due to the trauma she suffered.
She said, “They did not allow anybody to rescue her. They made jest of her for hours as they took her round the community. I saw her; she was speaking to herself and was incoherent. That was when I discovered that she had lost her mind.”

Health / The Best And Worst Sleeping Positions For Couples by mcvize(m): 6:19pm On Jun 15, 2015
Sharing a bed can be tricky business. Thankfully, the Swimmingly team has put together a handy guide of the best sleeping positions for couples. They’ve also included the worst, because we’ve all experienced them. At least having a guide should help give you an idea of what to avoid.
As a single girl, I’m currently enjoying the unlisted Loner, but Swimmingly and I both recommend the Barely There for the warmer months. Through the winter and the subsequent cuffing season, finding somebody to share a bed with might have been a necessary survival tool. But as we move into spring (and what already feels like summer on some Texas days) it’s about surviving sharing a bed in the heat. ‘Cause with the heat comes the tossing and turning to get comfortable, moving you into dangerous no-sleep territory.
If you haven’t quite figured out how to share a bed without being a complete nuisance to your partner, take a look at the guide below. You’ll notice how easy it is for the most innocent poses to turn uncomfortable — possibly deadly, just look at the Headlock. As long as you avoid that and don’t hog the blankets, you should be fine. Unless you have pets. Then you’re on your own because pets are a wildcard.

Phones / 6 Reasons Every Business Needs A Mobile App/how To Get Started Without Coding! by mcvize(m): 11:52pm On May 12, 2015
There is a misconception in the modern business world that only large brands can support a mobile app. However, more and more small and mid-size companies are utilizing mobile development as a means to connect with customers and build a successful brand. According to a recent Forbes article, the right mobile app can have a meaningful payoff when it comes to marketing, engagement and more.

If you are considering mobile app development for your business, it’s important to understand the ways that you can strategize around and benefit from this new venture. Here are six of the many reasons your business can benefit from a mobile app.

Visibility: The average American spends 162 minutes per day on a mobile device. A highly connected consumer means that a business like yours has the chance to be a visible presence in the daily life of your target audience. If your app is present on a tablet or smart phone’s home screen, you can engage with them more easily.
Direct marketing: One of the biggest benefits of having a mobile app dedicated to your business is that you can easily give your customer access to the information you want them to have. Whether this means announcing special sales or introducing a digital loyalty program only available on your mobile platform, you can market directly to customers and inform them of your products and services.
Customer service, support and value: A mobile app can also make your customers’ lives easier while using your product or service. This in turn adds value to their experience with you and makes them more likely to want to repeat it. Something as simple as adding a “Frequently Asked Questions” interface provides customers with the support they need to make using your product or service a simpler, more streamlined process.
Brand recognition: Though your business likely has a fully developed brand already, a mobile app can further solidify your identity as a company. The design you choose for your app sends a clear message to customers about who you are and the value of your product or service. The connections you create through your app can drive customers to your website and even into your store—it’s all about branding and design.
Engagement: Having a mobile app opens the lines of communication between you and your customer like nothing else can. A live chat, messaging or alternate type of communication feature can make a real difference in how engaged your customer is. With an app, customers can find the information they need quickly and easily— and reach out to you when they have questions.
Promotion and sales: A mobile app makes it easier to promote your business. Mobile devices enable push notifications, which essentially guarantee that you’ll grab your customer’s notice. And if your product or service is for sale online, building an app increases your customer’s opportunity to buy. Rather than having to wait until they are in front of their computer, an app lets them make purchases virtually anywhere.

Business / Exclusive Way To Brainstorm And Find Products To Sell by mcvize(m): 12:23pm On May 08, 2015
Finding the right products to sell as a student entrepreneur is one of the most important aspects of starting a profitable online/offline business and is easily the place where most people screw up.

Now I’ve been teaching how to start a job for quite a while and I can’t tell you how many people sign up for my Email with preconceived notions of what they want to sell.

For some reason, everyone either wants to sell t-shirts, wedding accessories or baby clothing. But you know what? All of these markets are way too competitive.

Now that’s not to say that it’s not possible to make money in these large markets. But you’ll find yourself going up against industry giants which will make it difficult for your little mobile/shop to stand out.

Keep in mind, the goal here is to find a niche that will make enough money to allow you to live the lifestyle you want. Creating a profitable online/offline business does not have to be about starting the next big thing. It’s not about sacrificing your livelihood and working 100 hour weeks to start the next jumia.com or konga.com

It’s about finding that niche that will make you a nice six figure per year payout. It’s about finding a niche that allows you to work a minimal number of hours so you can spend more time doing other things.

So with that in mind, our main goal is to find products that are in high demand but not terribly competitive either.

Ideally, you want to find products that people are looking for that can not be found in brick and mortar stores in quantity or variety. In addition, you also want to find a niche that is very specialized and narrow.

Ok great. How the heck do you do that?

Unfortunately, the answer is not black and white and if I were to try to explain the exact process in this post, this post would be many words I don’t want to waste your time.

But I can tell you this. Choosing the right niche matters!

As an example, Susan, a student that DOWNLOAD MY FREE EBOOK started an online store selling BEAD working supplies and immediately started making sales. And within a year, she was making Good amount of money with her website and large face book-page with good promotion strategy.

Looking back, Susan did not spend much money at all on marketing. She pretty much launched her shop. The demand was there and she’s been making sales ever since.

Finding the right balanced niche is somewhat of an art form, but it is definitely something that can be taught.

In the meantime, here’s a small taste of some of the concepts I used

First off, I would recommend picking items to sell that meet the following criteria

The product should not be fragile and easy to ship
The product should not take up much physical space
The product’s inherent value should be ambiguous. For example, I would never sell electronics because there is a set value for your goods that everyone is aware of. On the contrary, keepsakes and informational goods are much harder to place a price tag on.
The product should be timeless. Once again, I would never sell electronics because they lose value the longer they stay on the shelves

Can You Make Money?

The second problem is determining whether you can actually make money selling your product. The key is to not get too hung up on any given idea because if the target market is not big enough, your product may not be worth selling.

Personally, I use a quick and dirty way to determine if my online store idea is viable. Assuming your market potential is large enough, you should check the frequency with which your product search terms appear on the search engines. Pick three to four of your main targeted search terms and use a keyword tool such as Long Tail Pro or Google’s keyword tool to determine the frequency that people search for your items.

Take the aggregate numbers that you get from these keyword tools and make a reasonable assumption for the click through rate and conversion ratio. The click through rate (CTR) is the frequency with which someone will actually click on your ad or link within a search engine.

The conversion ratio is the percentage likelihood of someone buying something once they’ve clicked onto your site. So what are some good assumptions for these two metrics for your business?

Assuming that you can crack the front page of Google, I first calculate the potential market by assuming a 37% clickthrough rate (#1 on the front page search results). In terms of conversions, I usually choose a ratio of 1-3%.

Let me take an example from a mentor, roughly 33100 people search for earth shoes every month. Looking at some of the stores who sell earth shoes, it looks like the average selling price is around 80 dollars for a pair. So if I assume a 37% click through rate and a 2% conversion ratio, that comes out to about $19595 a month assuming each customer only buys a single pair. Pretty quick and dirty but it does the trick!

Note: These numbers only reflect the people that are searching for that exact keyword in Google. Once you have a live shop, there will be many other keyword terms people will search for to arrive on your site. Also, these estimates don’t account for other traffic sources that you will receive as well. Nonetheless, doing keyword research in this way will give you a pretty good idea about your potential target market.

Finally, the biggest problem is that even if you manage to choose a product or a set of products you want to sell, where the heck are you going to source your products from? How and where do you contact the manufacturer so you can get wholesale pricing? Before I tell you the best way to find your vendors, there are several things to consider right off the bat.

Do you want to deal with only domestic (Nigerian) vendors?

Dealing with vendors in Nigeria is much easier because everything is familiar to you. It is much easier to contact your vendors because they are in a similar time zone and they speak the same language. However, because the manufacturing costs are much higher in Nigeria, you will end up paying more money for your products which will negatively affect your profit margins. The main advantage is that shipping arrangements can be easily made and it’s generally easier to obtain the products you want to sell.

Do you want the absolute lowest cost for your products?

If you want the absolute best deal for your products, then you might want to consider looking in China to source your items. These days, you’ll find that most things are made and sourced from China. Why? It’s because they offer the best prices. However, it can be a major hassle to import items into your home country. If you do manage to get the process down however, the profit margins are unbeatable.

Do you want to carry inventory or drop ship?

Drop shipping is great since you don’t have to carry inventory, but you are still responsible for making sure that your customer is happy and satisfied with the purchase. As a result, you have to make sure that the vendors you choose are absolutely reliable. If you choose to drop ship, handling returns can be a major hassle. Even worse, you’ll sometimes have to deal with irate customers even though you were not at fault. Deciding to drop ship also limits your choice of vendors.

How Do I Find My Vendors?

Now that you are aware of your product sourcing options, the best way to find vendors is to attend wholesale tradeshows. For example, if you are interested in importing products from China, you can check out the China Import And Export Fair Website or Alibaba. If you are interested in wholesale fairs in the US, you can check out various tradeshow websites such as Wholesale Central.

Going to tradeshows is ideal because

All of the vendors are aggregated in one location. You can set up appointments to meet multiple vendors in a single day
They will have samples of their merchandise available for you to see. This is especially important when dealing with overseas vendors because obtaining samples can sometimes take months.

Why Not Do All Of My Research Online?

You might think that you can do all of your vendor research online, but wholesale vendors that you find on the web can be extremely sketchy. In fact, there are many vendors online that are middlemen who pretend to be wholesale vendors just to get your business. It is because of these deceptive practices that I recommend finding vendors at trade shows rather than purely online.
Keep in mind though, that these services won’t do the heavy lifting for you. You still have to take the time to contact each and every vendor and create your own business relationships. Finding good vendors and establishing trust is the key to good product sourcing.
