Righteousness2:I must say I love the way you cease each opportunity to talk about my darling Jesus, more so how you find a way to relate every topic to talk about the imminence of His coming. Keep it up sir |
It’s so obvious that White wasn’t happy seeing Pere (his only competition) come back. The disappointment was all over WM |
The National Coordinator, Concerned Advocates for Good Governance, CAGG, and a chieftain of the New Nigerian Peoples Party, NNPP, Olusegun Bamgbose is dead. He died in the wee hours of Friday after a brief illness. One of his close friends and associate, Steve Ikechi, confirmed the sad news. Bamgbose was the Principal Head, God’s Own Chambers, a legal team based in Aba, Abia State. He had also declared his interests to run in the 2023 presidential election under the umbrella of the NNPP. Also reacting to the sad news, Foundation for Environmental Rights, Advocacy & Development (FENRAD), whose legal team he headed, described Bamgbose as a strong voice on matters of good governance and human rights advocacy. Comrade Nelson Nnanna Nwafor, Executive Director of FENRAD, told DAILY POST that Bamgbose was “richly endowed with political sagacity and was consistent in holding governments to account as he lent his voice to the most critical of national and local issues. “Through his intervention and actions, government relaxed many unpopular policies. He was a fine gentleman, very hardworking, a lovely husband, father and friend to all. “His humble mien, approach and disposition endeared him to many. Throughout his stay on earth, he was truly committed to the promotion and protection of environmental, human and democracy rights which aligned with FENRAD’s goals. “We made many wins working together through his wise and ever-ready counsel. He led and piloted our legal department with such impeccable professionalism as a lawyer properly called. “We are indeed pained by this loss and pray that God, in this trying time, grants his family – immediate and extended – the fortitude to bear this huge loss; same we also pray for on his friends, learned colleagues and those who by this exit are pained. “Barr. Olusegun Bamgbose will be terribly missed. “May his gentle soul find rest in the bosom of the Almighty. Adieu to the great iroko, an icon and a towering legal luminary!” https://www.crimechannels.com/nnpp-chieftain-barrister-olusegun-bamgbose-reportedly-dead/

Having parked under a tree for a while with the glasses slightly down, I came back and met this smooth green snake inside the leg room of my official vehicle. Ofcourse I and my colleague killed it immediately. However, this didn’t go down well with another colleague who argued that it was a harmless snake and we could just have found a way to let it out of the car and into the bush. Dear snake lovers in the house, was killing this smooth Green Snake the best option?

gojow:It’s a means of social escape (for we wh no fit Jakpa) from all Naija wahala. You can’t imagine the many direct and indirect employment BBN brings to the table. |
Danjikanbauchi:And I have good news for you; You and I Die here as Nigerians.....sadly! |
Danjikanbauchi:Now answer this; How you wan know ♂️ Does the US wash its dirty linens in public like we do? |
yanabasee1:Can you cite instances of such US extraditions? Now don’t tell me so far the US FBIs have been saints. Saint USA will never hand over its citizen to any nation on the earth......regardless!! |
Gireiboy:Exactly, No sane country would do that. If reverse were the case, would Amelika extradite its erring citizen to Nigeria? Na third world country them see finish. |
Looks to me like a balanced appointment. However, I thought the appointees would be posted across their geographical divides. Only few were. |
Everfrank:Wow! Thanks for this info |
Though I haven’t deleted my Twitter App despite the FG’s Twitter ban, however, why do I still get notified from Twitter despite not using the VPN app. Funny enough, I am not able to read the details of the tweets I am being notified of. Anyone has an idea why this is so? |
Was he given back stage? |
It’s baffling how so called bloggers feel viewers are more interested in seeing their faces or listening to their narrations than lettting us hear from the horse’s. What happens to a brief intro then fade out. |
Nice start-up. You sure have a place in literature. However, do not keep your readers waiting for too long for the completion. You’ve got to feed the beast you have created. |

LMS1: ![]() Now this guy will think i was also high on some ille-git before sharing my experience o! |
so I was watching a recent amateur video of a Domestic Naija Airplane that encountered sand-storm. It was hilarious to see those prayers/ speaking in tongues moments from the Nigerian Persengers. It made me recall my worse albeit funny flight experience and thought i should share. I boarded an Abuja bound flight from one of the states in the NorthEast. The plane (a mini Jet) actually belongs to my organisation (humanitarian) and it is used for shuttling staff around the country for work and also conduct Medical Evacuation when required. So on this December 2019 morning, i and other colleagues boarded this plane to ABJ. Unlike commercial planes that cruise on Higher Ultitudes and arrive Abuja at 55 minutes Max, it takes this plane an additional 50minutes to arrive Abuja. Na so e go de do some noisy crawling on air. ♂️. We don complain tire The Worse/funny Part Each time before boarding this particular plane, i usually empty my bladder in the Gents at the Departure Lounge, because there is no provision for a toilet since it is a small plane. But on this occasion, i didnt do so, as we were already behind take-off time, so i just hopped in. As per a regular, I noticed that this time, it took us almost 3Hrs to arrive Abj and at some point we start roving 360 degrees mid-air. And my bladder was tank full and i guess some even went into my bowel. Shit o! piss o!, vomit o! All at once. I then began sweating profusedly like a common thief who has been caught. All my life, i had never felt that pressed. The pilot was not explaining anything as per the reason for the delay in landing. And it seemed like I was the only one who was worried, na so i lock-up too like mumu weh dem want carry go sell, but deep down, i was dying of shit, piss and vomit. Las las, after 3hrs plus, we managed to descend the Nnamdi Azikiwe Int'l Airport. Then the pilot now stood up from his sest and appologised that the delay was because Baba Buhari was landing at the time, so the airspace was restricted. So he had to rove 360. I didnt even allow him finish his giberish, na so I harrased am with my eyes, almost brushed his shoulder and rushed♂️ to the Lav to shit, piss and Vomit. Belle and body come sweet me die!!!!. I will never forgive that man for making me go through alot, neither will i forget this life-threatening experience. . Feel free to also share yours. |
Thanks to all who have opined so far. We are learning. More responses are needed please. |
Goldenrod1:Wow! Glad you took charge of that tempting moment. |
Anger in itself is not bad, it is the corresponding actions that one should be conscious of.[/quote]You are right. The corresponding actions is what makes the difference. |
lilvicky68:Great mechanism. I would also imbibe same strategy too. |
I guess this topic has the potential to make an interesting and an educative read. That is why i am posting it under the education section. The aim is to learn from each other some practical Anger Management Skills. Arguably, all living creatures including animals, easily get provoked and they all react to anger differently. E.g A dog could charge, bark at or bite its aggressor when provoked. For many people, reactions to anger have led them to prisons, murder, regrets and some to their early graves. Especially in this hard-bitting reccession and inflation, short fused/sad-faced persons abound everywhere. Personally, in the past when provoked, i react voilently and want to payback in the same measure. This has really not helped me, but has rather agravated the situation, leaving me sad and emotionally wrecked. However, this days, with constant practice and God's help, i now try to stay calm when provoked or simply do the gentlemanly by walking away. Lets learn from others; How Do You Handle Anger When Provoked? |
Click the like botton if you also think that that singular action of the groom spoilt the mood at the reception. |
Click the *Share botton if you dont understand what the OP wrote there. Who is the mode on duty sef? |
- Envy- you cannot catch me talk bad about someone`s possession - Using "House Maid" instead of "House Help". You can never hear those words on my lips - I cannever talk disrecpectfully to or treat my house helps in demeaning ways. |
Had to read no.12 like thrice before I understood it. Who else did same? |
