Just like every other responsible and well meaning INGO that sincerely have humanity at heart, the ICRC longs for an end to these dark days that characterise troubled regions in the world. And it helps especially by assisting and protecting those affected by armed conflicts and other situations of voilence. # Peace. |

While growing up, the name "Abiola" or MKO rang a re-sounding bell and one prominent lines attached to his name was " He was a billionaire".
But these days all of a sudden, i dont seem to see or hear of any enterprise attached to his name which prompted this question " Where are the Abiola Billions?". Because his name no longer bears the suffix as it were "The late billionaire". Could his wealth have been swandered or mismanaged by his family?
And again i ask, "Where are the Abiola Billions"? I am begging to know.

Omeokachie: Ticketers = 100 (Assuming 10 per engine, even though we don't know how many engines that will ply that rail).
Cleaners = 50 (Even Abuja and MMIA put together can't boast of that number).
Drivers = 30 (taking into account shifts and all. That is even if we have up to 3 engines).
Carriage/rail maintenance = 100 (if they are brand new engines, then they will have very little to do).
Signals = 10 (really wonder what they will be doing)
Security = 50 (what is the ratio of policemen to citizens? need less but we leave it at that).
IT = 10 (they are not working for a telecoms company)
HR = 5 (need to issue query to all the workers that would have nothing to do).
Accountants = 10 (even though NRC would have their personnel)
Lawyers = 5 (not a law chamber)
Administrators = 50 (typical overbloated workforce)
Media and Medicals = 10 (this is not a media outfit or a hospital)
ETC. = 1,000 (let's even dash 1000 to unknown workers)
Total is N1,430.
Even when we bring all the hawkers on board the platforms, say 5,000, we would still be way short of this 20,000 figure.

Passion to serve regardless of the pay and the working conditions, perseverance to keep applying regardless of countless failed attempts prayers for God's favour on your Cv which must be apt. I got the job without recourse to connections it was strictly on merit. Humanitarian Experiences too counts alot and you can get this by volunteering. |

Please guys, lets becareful with our net-life (our posts, comments and interests) especially on facebook, twitter and on IG.
You wont believe that 5 months after landing my dream job with an international non-governemntal, within a short while i got along with all my colleagues (both Nigerians and foreigners) especially the admin staff who was part of the recriutment process.
Just yesterday, we got gisting, and she opened up to me that prior to the finalization of my recriutment, she was asked by the HR in the HQ to enter my full names on various social media, to see what my personality was like on the net with key reference to my posts, comments and interests.
I dared to ask her what would have happened if they had issues with my net-life. Guess what her response was; Though you emeged as the best candidate, but we sure would have re-advertised the position because of the sensitivity of the position you were to be recriuted for as we needed only a responsible social medialite which you managed to be.
This shocked me and made me more careful with my social media life. And i vowed to share this with my beloved Nlanders especially job seekers as recriuters now watch-out for what you do on the social media. |

Dont be discouraged bro, i finished my secondary school at 18 in 2004, started my Bsc at 27 in 2013 and graduated at 31 in 2017. I got a job on merit with an international org immediately with a monthly package of over 250k after graduation even before service without any connection but just Gods favour, determination and hardwork. Relax God has plans for everyone. Today i earn way higher than my mates that graduated years before me.
So, just calm down and get the cert, God would open doors, dont look at your age. |

Connoisseur: The op has a point, but laid it out wrong. I believe CeeC is acting a script for the organisers. Otherwise it would mean a new height in profiling to be able to predict her behavior during the audition process. CeeC made the 2018 edition popular, the show has been forced down ur consciousness because of her. Guess the slogan; Double Wahala. She gave out the wahala in multiple folds. To maintain the integrity of the show, she will not win but will be greatly compensated for her skills. She is the only reason this last week will generate the highest no of votes. It would have been an 'uninteresting ' final week if she wasn't there. One Guguru and a chilled kunu for you. Your analytical skill is apt. #BBnaija2018, would have been as dry as your bank account if not for Cee-Cee on the show. |

Tessyy1701: Some people are afraid to study in NOUN not because of school fees, but how to excel academically. there was a student in my study centre, he got admission in 2015/2016 academic session. when the exams kicked off, the first paper he wrote was so hard for him. he sat for the second paper and yet he didn't find it easy; failed woefully. he got confused and was afraid of what might become of him in NOUN. after the first and second paper he wrote respectively, he left NOUN for a conventional university, where he can bribe lecturers to get A's in exam. who said NOUN is easy? NOUN is for students who says we are able to wade through the mud. NOUN is not for lazy students! female students can't sleep with lecturers to pass any exam. no bribing of lecturers to pass any exam; is either you fail or you pass in NOUN. I am investing money and time in NOUN and i am getting the expected result. Oya well done for consoling yourself and your likes. 1000 clap offering for you. |
