Hi, I am Mike Daniel. Nice to know a co Nairalander stays in Mubi North. I stay around Digil road, Mubi North. Congrats on your wedding. I will attend your wedding. |
Mine had a similar issue last week. My mechanic diagnosed it as an ECU problem. I spent 80k on a new ECU. After programming it, the last gear works perfectly. I would suggest you change the brain box. |

For me, the best Nigerian president remains Olusegun Obasanjo. Though I may not have been born in the 60s when Nigeria gained her independence, but i have been around for a while to witness different administrations. OBJ was intelligent and brutal especially when faced with opposing views. And had an enviable sense of humor sauced with savagery ![]() Recall when Eedris sang " Nigeria Jagajaga", Obj put it to him ASAP that; "Na your mama and papa jagajaga" ![]() Anyways I also think he was in the best position -no Nigerian President may ever have- to salvage this country from the bricks. Reasons: The long nights of Military juntas had just ended. And a joyous daybreak of Democratic values had begun in 1999. Going by OBJ's military background, Nigerians werent so sure - the nascent- Democracy had fully come to stay. Thus were still scared, naive and skeptical about the ex-military man. And not many wanted to oppose his views on issues - dissenting voices weren't so vocal like they are today. If Obasanjo had gotten it right, no doubt Nigeria would have been on the highway to prosperity and developments. As much as I still prefer his administration to any other one, I also think he shares a huge blame-chunk of where we are as a country today.

Went through the same phase. Couldn't sleep for two nights that I even told my colleagues about my experience. I'm glad someone not directly related to her felt this way. Speaks volumes of our kind hearts. |
Tokskob2008:I can imagine sir. e go better. But lets not bid farewell to hope. |
Unzerious:Quite deep and valid thoughts. Hope is all we have. |
Sleep is vital to our overal wellbeing and the nights are meant for relaxing the body, the mind and the brain from the day's stress. However, for alot of people especially in Nigeria, life's getting harder and unpredictable by the day, with prices of basic commodities and cost of living skyrocketing by the day with no seeming hope in sight. Thus, frustration, worries, fear of the unknown and worse of all Hunger and desperation become the constant companions of many. Sadly, couple with the security loop holes accross the country, sleep has become a luxury distant dream for a million+1 bread winners and sincere seekers out there. For me, the thoughts of how costly, insecure and fragile life has become here, keeps me awake most nights. I wish we could have sincere and willing minds - politicians+technocrats come together to proffer permanent solutions to our common problems. So what keeps you up all night?

Its most definitely the fuel pump or the kick starter sir. Had same issue traveling from kano to Cross Rivers. Car stopped and refused to start after several attempts. Got a new fuel pump and one hand, e Start and didn't experience it again. A dying kick starter presents such symtom too. |
@ OP, I thought "stadium" is Singular and "stadia" is Plural. Why use "Stadiums" as plural ? |
Interesting topics on politics, romance, security and on snakes would naturally attract quantum of views and comments which are key determinants of FP materials. |
This Alex guy ehn ![]() Something odd about him and his looks. Always looking suspicious and out of place. Anyone notice same? |
Arresting the Health worker is a clear case of Health Care in Danger (HCiD). And the arrest obviously negates the 1st Geneva convention of 1864 which protects the wounded and the sick during conflict situation. Now, the way to go in this case is; treat the wounded bandit but alert the authorities while this is done. Or better still treat his wounds but don’t discharge him - again call the police while treating him. |
The Zamfara Commissioner for Women and Children Affairs, Hajiya Rabi Shinkafi, has resigned her appointment to take up another Commissionership appointment in Imo. In an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Gusau, capital of Zamfara, on Thursday, she confirmed that she was joining the government of Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo State. “I resigned my appointment as commissioner in Zamfara to enable me to pick another appointment as Commissioner in Imo, I am immensely grateful to Gov. Bello Matawalle and his Wife, Hajiya Aisha Matawalle, for their kindness to me and for giving me the opportunity to serve Zamfara in different capacities. All the speculations in the social media about my resignation are completely false; it was just work of mischief-makers,’’ she said. I have a perfect and cordial relationship with the Governor and his wife. I consider them as my family and they were in the picture of my going to Imo. “Both Gov. Hope Uzodinma of Imo and Matawalle discussed it as fellow All Progressives Congress Governors and as friends too,’’ Shinkafi added. I stumbled on this facebook post that shows a hospital somewhere in Nigeria allegedly in Bauchi State. You can see sachets of drips hung on a mango tree and administered to patients sadly while lying literally on the bare ground. If this is true, then the it calls for a health emergency in that community.

Foodqueen:@ placing a “forever long kiss” was the exact thing I did to my late Mum’s corpse just two weeks ago. I did it immediate the Doc pronounced her dead. And to think that my mums corps was the closest eye contact I have ever had with a corps, talk more of kissing one. And I am fulfilled and forever grateful that I did that. |

Unknown to me, he told the bus conductor in Yoruba dialect that i will pay his fare. No be that one pain me, he got away with my phone and made me lost touch with the guy i was supposed to meet in lagos. That first timer experience i will never forget in a hurry.

NOBLE IGWE EXPLAINS WHY ORGANIZERS OF BBNAIJA ALLEGEDLY BLACKLISTED EFE AFTER HE WON THE REALITY SHOW. Media personality, Noble Igwe has made public the reasons why organizers of BBNaija allegedly blacklisted Efe after he won the reality show. Recall that Efe secured 57.61 per cent of votes to emerge winner of the 2017 Big Brother Naija ‘See Goobe’ reality TV show. The Warri-born rap artist beat Bisola, who became the 1st runner up with 18.54 per cent of the vote at the grand finale. Igwe served a response after a Twitter user asked why Multichoice has allegedly shut Efe out even though he has “apologized and tried to make amends.” According to the media personality, Efe sat in his car and asked for the head of Multichoice to meet him before he comes out. https://allure.vanguardngr.com/2021/10/noble-igwe-explains-why-organizers-of-bbnaija-allegedly-blacklisted-efe-after-he-won-the-reality-show/?fbclid=IwAR2imxoX7nYN5x-0Z5Eh1EBh3JM1loeqc8ao0ZSHkuzXlj5OgfGXlGcvTJo

Saw this yesterday during the Independence Day celebration in one of the states. Albeit wooden, but why subconsciously expose innocent kids to phantom weapons at such age and during such occasion. What is the sublime message the handlers of these kids are trying to pass across? Certainly not in the precarious security situation the Nation is facing.

I stay in Mubi, Adamawa state. As early as 7am, on a dewy October 1, many youths in Mubi had already donned any green and white attire they could lay their hands on, with faces laced with green and white paintings. And For commercial Tricycle owners and riders in Mubi, it was a day to show off daring stunts with chants of “sai Baba” filling the air. So convincing as though giving credit to President Buhari for facilitating 1960’s independence. No accidents recorded. However, no thanks to the traffic gridlock it brought in the small town. See few pictures below.
