egift: Kankwaso: Jonathan should deploy soldiers to Sambisa Forest.s Kwankwaso pointed out the obvious i.e. Johnathan got his priority upside down; how could he justify sending down thousands of soldiers to cover a state election (which in anyway is outside their constitutional responsibility) when the more urgent issue of Sambisa and Chibok girls is waiting. Simply put: Johnathan is behaving like Like Nero, fiddling on the roof while Rome burnt, in his case fiddling while the NE is burning. As for being clannish; well, who publicly declared his dependence on a particular tribe of ppl in his government , as well as similar other utterances elsewhere - just to mention a few? |
^^^^What is hypocritical? The Quds march had long preceded the emergence of Boko Haram, its an annual event which they do every year for the past 32 years (peacefully without any problem) why should this year be any different for them? Secondly, as a sect they obviously identify more closely with other Muslims from the same sect throughout the world than with other Muslims from different sects, even if they happen to be Nigerians - how is that difficult to understand? Besides, the sheikh is a re - known critic of Boko Haram and also one of their targets. |
Having watched this short video footage, though by no means a comprehensive coverage of the whole incidence; nonetheless there is enough to get a glimpse into what really happened. OBSERVATION: There was no evidence of anyone among the civilians bearing arms against the soldiers. There was no evidence of aggression, verbal or in otherwise, from among any member from the crowd against the soldiers. There was no evidence that suggested the soldiers were in any danger or harms way from the dispersed crouching crowd. You could clearly see some armed soldiers taking up positions and stalking targets from among the crowd You could clearly hear several gunshots - presumably being fired by the soldiers You could clearly see a dead or wounded civilian lying in the street and also hear voices from the crowd encouraging others to retrieve the victim, even as the firing continued; you could also see a close up of another bleeding victim being taken away on a motorcycle - confirming their were casualties. CONCLUSION: The Nigerian Army has a case to answer for excessive use of deadly force, neither was there justification for the resulting casualty (even in the face of provocation as alleged) because it was not as if the soldiers were cornered, without an escape route that they had to fight their way out to reach safety - they could easily have retreated back to their barracks and let the police do their assigned constitutional duty. It would appear that the army is trying very hard exonerate itself from this incidence - though I wonder how it could manage do so; given the availability of such (and probably more similar) footage along with several eye witness account. I was also amused to note Nairaland's own contribution to this end, as it quickly removed a thread on the incidence as soon as it noted the thread title also identified the tribe of the alleged murdering army officer (as Igbo) - yes, if anyone is doubting here is the link, try and see if you can still access it.SMH. https://www.nairaland.com/1832750/brig-gen-okuh-shot-sons |
Liability: hey pig, your characterization shows you on the same level with a worm in terms of your reasoning. All i hear from your is absolute equivocation typical of a senile self deceiving slowpoke. You are once more displaying your ignorance and additionally lack of comprehension because none of my posts, in response to you espoused any agenda, religious or otherwise, except to point out the folly in your post - which reeked of abject ignorance and deep seated bigotry - no doubt a manifestation of poor exposure and lack of maturity coupled with a lazy mindset happy to wallow in baseless stereotyping rather than actively seeking knowledge on a subject prior to speaking about it - or in your case, raving and ranting off-topic like a headless chicken. Like I said before, its better you resort to doing what you know best (lying on your back and giving it up) then going over to the sexuality section and telling everybody all about it. Your frustration in that regard is quite evident; so he fucvted you, took your virginity and dumped you, eh? Well too bad, why not take your frustrations elsewhere e.g. sticking to the sexuality section because it befits you; while leaving politics to the more intelligently minded. Abeg, run commot; customer dey wait for you. Shegiya, Karuwa! |
Liability: your entire generation is the most stuuupiiid in the whole universe.Your username said it all, a real liability to everyone including yourself because of your dumbness; go get educated about the ongoing terrorism, its origins, the ppl involved, its main victims etc before you open your putrid ignorant mouth again on the subject. Alternatively, why not give your shallow brain a rest and instead go back to doing what you know best - lying on your back, legs apart and intermittently call out 'NEXT' - shegiya yar iska! ![]() |
Liability: i wish nigeria can act like israel and clear out all the boko boys. But we cant because the hausa and muslims are supporting and hiding them in their community.Did you think before you typed that ignorant remark or were just born stewpid? ![]() |
^^^^^ Yes, I agree; though theoretically possible but almost practically impossible for the same reason you mentioned; also digestive enzymes would certainly destroy such labile organism as the HIV. This explain why infected mothers are not prohibited from breast feeding their babies and also why it is safe to eat, drink and even share the same utensils with an infected person. |
WombRaiders: Assesories:With such clear provocation its no wonder many of you get targeted during religious uprising; its equally unfortunate that innocent folks also fall victim caused by such incitement - careful, or else you may reap what you sow. |
^^^^Oboy, de thing tire me; after that then some ppl will say this clueless man is trying SMH. ![]() |
MichaelSokoto: I do have the capacity to tell the President to apologize, but I still insist that he should not have made such a statement. This part of his speech is quite revealing. Indirectly boasting of having so much influence over the president; to the extent of having the capacity of even making him apologize - oh, how very interesting. Doesn't that suggest that the two are quite close and most likely working together towards a common agenda? |
iterator25: all the people commenting on this thread get brain problem.. na shrapnel from the bomb dent the SUV not bulletsDon't mind the nincompoop, he probably needs to refer to the dictionary to know the meaning of SHRAPNEL, yet he is quick to pass judgement on very flimsy speculative assumptions - based on preconceived biased opinion. |
^^^^There are two lethal diseases called Ignorance and Stupidity, even worse than Ebola, boy I pity you.SMH ![]() |
aryzgreat: so they used christians to sacrifice to dia moon allah on the so called sallah day?How is that an excuse, is it not a fact that they are killing them many times more than Christians - or are you putting Christian lives more valuable than those of Muslims ? Besides, there is increasing evidence that this Boko Haram wahala is no longer a religious issues; because political and criminal elements are also using it under disguise to perpetrate their own nefarious agenda - pls tell me that is not true. The fact is Nigerians, whether Christians or Muslims, are victims under a government that is seemingly impotent and unable to protect them - opting instead to play a very dangerous divisive blame game; which unfortunately, many gullible ppl like you are unable to decipher. |
OP: I have heard some ppl use huge plastic water tanks as an alternative to digging ponds; what do you think and how viable is this compared to ponds? |
This so reprehensible, words even fail me, see as none of them is able to comment - so shameful. |
Sai Buhari: see him, a brave soldier as always, calm and unshaken even just after facing death; your enemies will try but shall always fail in vain; may Allah continue to guide and protect you. Amin. |
^^^^Walahi, there are many more like that, thinking and speaking through their anus - SMH |
GenBuhari: Maybe it is the journalist that wrote the wrong grammarYes you are quite right. Anyone with good eyes and not in a hurry would have noticed the QUOTATION MARKS and know therefore that SHE DIDN'T ACTUALLY WRITE THAT PIECE INCLUDING THE ERRORS HERSELF but was being quoted by somebody else who obviously wrote it - as you rightly suggested. |
Happywoman: Ok . I have heard you. Can he assist and replicate the same feat now? Cos people are really in pains.Vote for him, make him president and see what will happen; Boko Haram na small thing, you'll see how he will deal with mother of all evils - CORRUPTION. |
Decryptor: PEJ is not alone in the "bomb-throwing"I bet you didn't see the quotation marks, cos if you did you wouldn't be insinuating the 'throwing' of those two "bombs" to Aisha Buhari - i.e. your next first lady |
Vig86: You should have known that I don't talk to Aboki people. They don't reason, they see God in their fellow man, they kill without remorse. As if you evil beings remorse over the ones you kill and eat - hateful beasts ![]() |
^^^^^Sharp guy. |
PhockPhockMan: July 24, 2014 (NAN)When will this woman shut and stop lying? Wasn't she the one that claimed the kidnap was fake and the protesters sponsored to embarrass her husband? And since when was she ever a mother let alone knew the pain of motherhood ? - the barren old shepo lying through her teeth. |
Vig86: And which bomb can kill more than this one she has just detonated. She never believed that the masses are dying until her husband stage managed a bomb scene to weaken the pointing fingers or may be to redirect a pointing fingers. It won't work. We know who is who in Nigeria. Buhari is addicted to over throwing democracy but it won't work. Nawao what a woman?May you in turn remain addicted to your ignorance till eternity - for such obviously foolish comment. |
Happywoman: Ma,it's sad reality we all must face and find a way to counter.Wrong, pls exclude her husband; because when Buhari was the army chief during Shagari regime, he obliterated the Maitatsine terrorists (today's equivalent of Boko Haram then) - in fact its quite ridiculous today when bigots keep accusing him of religious fanaticism and sponsoring terrorism. |
BREAKING NEWS: IGBO SURRENDER AND CALL FOR PEACE AND ONE NIGERIA Following recent ethnic profiling and maltreatment of northerners in eastern parts of Nigeria under the guise of security measures against terrorism, which angered northern youths and politicians leading to call for dissolution of the country; in reaction to this alarmed Igbos youths are instead appealing for peace and One Nigeria. https://www.nairaland.com/1825879/ohaneze-youths-fault-call-dissolution |
Choi, Igbos really fall my hand, starting what they cannot finish. Upon all that chest beating and posturing; one small threat from the north, see quick capitulation. That is why it is not good to push ppl to the wall - especially when you are empty and just full of hot air Now that we confirmed they need One Nigeria more than anyone else; they no longer have cause to insult or abuse anyone as lazy or parasite; in fact they should learn to be humble and good tenants or else face eviction from Nigeria by their landlords and masters in the North and West. ![]() |
Bookmarked for future reference. ![]() |

ikevin: who and who would send who packing, sometimes I wonder how some people grew up. Spewing ethno-divisive comment especially this period when the polity is extremely charged up, I would appreciate it if you type out your real names, so we start knowing each other. Not that 40 years from now, you would carry rice and beans to Onitcha begging for votes. It is high time we Nigerian youths look these current crop of politicians and tell them we would no longer be divided and ruled by ethnic bigotry and religious strings. The good of Nigeria means well for us, I would really appreciate it bro if we start seeing each other as Nigerians foremost abeg.Divisive comment and heating the polity, you sure right about that. But maybe you need to first take your advice to the Oga at the Top, who had so far been the most divisive presidents we have had to date; and secondly also take a quick stroll through NL and note all the insults and bigotry, perhaps you may begin to understand why some of us feel the need to respond in the same coin. As at now, I am venting, pls let me be; probably after that we may all get together and talk peace. Meanwhile, kindly take your message to the Biafroids; they clearly need it more since they are the ones threatening to divide this country. |
^^^^ They would rather tolerate them than the Rattle Snakes from the east. |
