PoliticsRe: Presidency Replies Kwankwaso: You are suffering from kwankwasiya mentality by MeAboki(m): 7:18pm On Aug 05, 2014
egift: Kankwaso: Jonathan should deploy soldiers to Sambisa Forest.
Jonathan: Blah, blah, blah, you are suffering from kwankwasiya mentality.
Nigerians: President Jonathan should shut if his throat is so dry and stop behaving like ebola.
s

Kwankwaso pointed out the obvious i.e. Johnathan got his priority upside down; how could he justify sending down thousands of soldiers to cover a state election (which in anyway is outside their constitutional responsibility) when the more urgent issue of Sambisa and Chibok girls is waiting.
Simply put: Johnathan is behaving like Like Nero, fiddling on the roof while Rome burnt, in his case fiddling while the NE is burning.
As for being clannish; well, who publicly declared his dependence on a particular tribe of ppl in his government , as well as similar other utterances elsewhere - just to mention a few?
PoliticsRe: Understanding The Zaria Massacre by MeAboki(m): 6:23pm On Aug 05, 2014
^^^^What is hypocritical?
The Quds march had long preceded the emergence of Boko Haram, its an annual event which they do every year for the past 32 years (peacefully without any problem) why should this year be any different for them?
Secondly, as a sect they obviously identify more closely with other Muslims from the same sect throughout the world than with other Muslims from different sects, even if they happen to be Nigerians - how is that difficult to understand?
Besides, the sheikh is a re - known critic of Boko Haram and also one of their targets.
PoliticsRe: Reports On The Quds Day Zaria Massacre Investigation by MeAboki(m): 5:32pm On Aug 05, 2014
Having watched this short video footage, though by no means a comprehensive coverage of the whole incidence; nonetheless there is enough to get a glimpse into what really happened.

OBSERVATION:
There was no evidence of anyone among the civilians bearing arms against the soldiers.
There was no evidence of aggression, verbal or in otherwise, from among any member from the crowd against the soldiers.
There was no evidence that suggested the soldiers were in any danger or harms way from the dispersed crouching crowd.
You could clearly see some armed soldiers taking up positions and stalking targets from among the crowd
You could clearly hear several gunshots - presumably being fired by the soldiers
You could clearly see a dead or wounded civilian lying in the street and also hear voices from the crowd encouraging others to retrieve the victim, even as the firing continued; you could also see a close up of another bleeding victim being taken away on a motorcycle - confirming their were casualties.

CONCLUSION:
The Nigerian Army has a case to answer for excessive use of deadly force, neither was there justification for the resulting casualty (even in the face of provocation as alleged) because it was not as if the soldiers were cornered, without an escape route that they had to fight their way out to reach safety - they could easily have retreated back to their barracks and let the police do their assigned constitutional duty.

It would appear that the army is trying very hard exonerate itself from this incidence - though I wonder how it could manage do so; given the availability of such (and probably more similar) footage along with several eye witness account.

I was also amused to note Nairaland's own contribution to this end, as it quickly removed a thread on the incidence as soon as it noted the thread title also identified the tribe of the alleged murdering army officer (as Igbo) - yes, if anyone is doubting here is the link, try and see if you can still access it.SMH.

Liability: hey pig, your characterization shows you on the same level with a worm in terms of your reasoning. All i hear from your is absolute equivocation typical of a senile self deceiving slowpoke.

You can take your history and educate the almajirized northerners that nigeria is a secular country, built on secular laws not some slavery organisation of islam.

Your deceits has been expose, your agenda has been leaked, nigeria cannot become another egypt or iraq where marginalization and oppression of other religion will under the guise of religion of peace.

Islamization of nigeria will never work.
So, pig, go and revel in that pit your came out from. Miserable nitwit
You are once more displaying your ignorance and additionally lack of comprehension because none of my posts, in response to you espoused any agenda, religious or otherwise, except to point out the folly in your post - which reeked of abject ignorance and deep seated bigotry - no doubt a manifestation of poor exposure and lack of maturity coupled with a lazy mindset happy to wallow in baseless stereotyping rather than actively seeking knowledge on a subject prior to speaking about it - or in your case, raving and ranting off-topic like a headless chicken.

Like I said before, its better you resort to doing what you know best (lying on your back and giving it up) then going over to the sexuality section and telling everybody all about it.

Your frustration in that regard is quite evident; so he fucvted you, took your virginity and dumped you, eh?

Well too bad, why not take your frustrations elsewhere e.g. sticking to the sexuality section because it befits you; while leaving politics to the more intelligently minded.

Abeg, run commot; customer dey wait for you.

^^^^^ Yes, I agree; though theoretically possible but almost practically impossible for the same reason you mentioned; also digestive enzymes would certainly destroy such labile organism as the HIV.
This explain why infected mothers are not prohibited from breast feeding their babies and also why it is safe to eat, drink and even share the same utensils with an infected person.

This part of his speech is quite revealing.
Indirectly boasting of having so much influence over the president; to the extent of having the capacity of even making him apologize - oh, how very interesting.
Doesn't that suggest that the two are quite close and most likely working together towards a common agenda?

aryzgreat: so they used christians to sacrifice to dia moon allah on the so called sallah day?

wia are the so called zakky shia protesters when u need them?

Christians are being pushed to the wall and no muslim says enough is enough, they always look for excuse to justify that boko also kill them.

RIP Christian martyrs
How is that an excuse, is it not a fact that they are killing them many times more than Christians - or are you putting Christian lives more valuable than those of Muslims ?

Besides, there is increasing evidence that this Boko Haram wahala is no longer a religious issues; because political and criminal elements are also using it under disguise to perpetrate their own nefarious agenda - pls tell me that is not true.

The fact is Nigerians, whether Christians or Muslims, are victims under a government that is seemingly impotent and unable to protect them - opting instead to play a very dangerous divisive blame game; which unfortunately, many gullible ppl like you are unable to decipher.

PoliticsRe: Nigeria’s First Lady Expresses Concern Over Delay In The Release Of Chibok Girls by MeAboki(m):
PhockPhockMan: July 24, 2014 (NAN)
Nigeria’s First Lady, Dame Patience Jonathan, has expressed concern over the prolonged delay in the release of the abducted Chibok girls by members of the Boko Haram sects.
Jonathan expressed the concern when she met with Nigerian community on Wednesday in Windhoek, Namibia. She empathised with family members ofthe girls and the entire Chibok community, saying that soon the girls would be released.“As a mother, I am very worried over the abduction of these girls; I share the pains of the mothers whose children were abducted,” Jonathan said.“We women of Nigeria, we have fasted and prayed that wherever they are, they will be released safely and that God will touch the minds of members of the sect,’’she said.
She commended the security agencies for their efforts, adding that soon the girls will be back home.
Jonathan also praised the Nigerian armed forces for their patriotic seal in fighting terror and urban violence especially in the North east.
The first lady appealed to Nigerians in Diaspora to support government and the military in putting an end to the insurgency across the country especially in the North east. She also appealed to Nigerians to be patient with the present government in the rescue efforts of the girls, while assuring that they will be found soon.Nigerians should project their country positively so that investors can come in and bring development. We have never seen such terrorism before, we had civil war, but with this current situation, it is not a situation where you can come face to face with your enemy.
Nigerians are peace loving people, and it’s rather unfortunate today that terrorism has been introduced into our country. We need to support our security forces, because if our soldiers can go to Mali, Somalia, Liberia and fight and conquer, then they will conquer Boko Haram soon.We are the giant of Africa, if other countries in the continent have problems; they run to us for help, then why don’t we believe in ourselves that we will conquer this insurgency? We have to be united in fighting it; terrorism is not one man’s war, it is a collective effort because when other country are faced with similar situation, they come together to fight it.“We need to come together to fight it, by the grace of God, We will conquer Boko Haram,’’Jonathan said. The first lady also assured them that thePresident was concerned about their welfare hence the appointment of a special adviser on Diaspora matters. She particularly commended those in Namibia, for projecting the image of Nigeria positively in their host country and urged them to keep faith with government. Earlier, the Nigeria High Commissioner to Namibia, Amb. Nathaniel Olurunfemi, described the first lady as very compassionate and caring mother.
He said that over 4,000 families have benefitted from empowerment programme sponsored by the first lady.
The foundation has also supported children with heart conditions in securing medical treatment abroad.
It is to her credit that several women are now holding key national positions, boosting the silent revolution of bringing women to impact on great economy.
It is to her credit as the current President of African First Ladies Peace Mission (AFLPM), that relief materials were sent to refugees of conflicts, including Congo, Saharawi African Republic, Mali and others.
It is also to her credit that the AFLPM’s office was established in Abuja,’’ Olorunfemi said.
Responding on behalf of the community, the Surveyor -General of the Republic of Namibia, Uzo Okechukwu Okafor, a Nigerian, commended the first lady for her support for women empowerment.
We commend you for keeping the homefront going in spite of the challenges of governance especially with unsavoury criticism and abuses that comes with leadership. We will continue to join others in prayers that the efforts government is making rescuing the girls from their abductors will bear fruits. He appealed to the government to ensure that the reforms in the power sector be fully implemented.“We also pray that the transformation agenda of Mr President succeeds,’’ Okafor said A Nigerian pastor in Namibian, Haruna Bako Gorom, said a lot of things were being done including fervent prayers to ensure the release of the abducted Chibok girls. We want to say that we are standing by you, It should not just be the international community alone that is supporting, but Africans too should show their support. NAN reports that Jonathan was in Namibia to attend the 8th Stop Cervical,Breast and Prostate Cancer in Africa, an initiative of the African First Ladies/ Spouses Forum.

ikevin: who and who would send who packing, sometimes I wonder how some people grew up. Spewing ethno-divisive comment especially this period when the polity is extremely charged up, I would appreciate it if you type out your real names, so we start knowing each other. Not that 40 years from now, you would carry rice and beans to Onitcha begging for votes. It is high time we Nigerian youths look these current crop of politicians and tell them we would no longer be divided and ruled by ethnic bigotry and religious strings. The good of Nigeria means well for us, I would really appreciate it bro if we start seeing each other as Nigerians foremost abeg.
Divisive comment and heating the polity, you sure right about that.

But maybe you need to first take your advice to the Oga at the Top, who had so far been the most divisive presidents we have had to date; and secondly also take a quick stroll through NL and note all the insults and bigotry, perhaps you may begin to understand why some of us feel the need to respond in the same coin.

As at now, I am venting, pls let me be; probably after that we may all get together and talk peace.

Meanwhile, kindly take your message to the Biafroids; they clearly need it more since they are the ones threatening to divide this country.
