DropShot: The Senate is a congregation of thieves and criminals who will do anything to have a corrupt EFCC chairman instead of an upright Magu. I am inclined to agree with you. One thing that comes across as unfair was failure of the senate to confront Magu with the allegations against him and therefore give him the opportunity to defend himself (therefore denying him his fundamental human right to fair hearing) they instead chose to quickly accept the DSS report on its face value without further scrutiny. |

Anyways we are watching this development if the government will not end up making a U turn because of lack of dollars to import this product!!! Quite on point, the govt was wrong to yield to pressure from such criticism, it should have resisted and in fact expanded its list to include more unnecessary imported goods. |

CallMeNJay: That video was aired on Chanels TV. The SARs commander is already in Abuja for questioning Case is still only an allegation, airing the clip on TV or the officer being recalled for questioning doesn't prove anything at this juncture until after full investigation and verification of the evidence - remember the Enugu massacre when the Police Commissioner went on TV to say the killings had nothing to do with the Fulani but due to communal clash only for him to later recant his earlier story. |

Not yet fully convinced; video appears to have been edited - no voice and made up of several short joint clips that could have been put together to tell a different story.
It is also especially peculiar that an officer on such alleged illegal mission would clearly allow himself to be interviewed sitting in a vehicle in an open compound while conscious of his voice being recorded speaking into a cellphone.
This alone cannot stand as evidence of any significance without additional corroboration from e.g. eyes witnesses or confessions of the accused.
In fact it could even be argued that the whole thing could have been staged managed and sponsored by Wike & Co with the complicity of the accused in order to malign the APC - in Nigeria anything is possible. |
Politics › Re: Nigeria's Minister Of Environment Amina Mohammed Has No Degree! by MeAboki(m): 1:16am On Dec 14, 2016 |
Aguntasolo1: These are the relevant constitutional provisions:
Also section
Does she even merit to be a minister? Does she have education of any kind? Well, it would appear that the constitution went to further qualify what a school certificate means. Accordingly, based on paragraphs b) which speaks of education up to secondary school certificate level and d) which speaks of any other qualification acceptable to INEC; therefore a person vying for any elected office or ministerial position does not need a certificate of any kind at all to qualify for that office - I believe this was why GEJ and the PDP gave up on their mission to disqualify PMB from the presidential election. Considering the above, it is therefore safe to say that Aisha Mohammed was more than qualified for her ministerial position and no doubt ridiculous for anyone to fault the UN for independently deeming her qualified a job within its organisation.

Blue3k: Lol I'm talking about geological region so get out of your feeling. This isn't about individual persons. That's why I talking about systems not tribes. That's I say region aka geopolitical regions.
Who do the oil companies higher to do work in Nigeria. Nigerians. Who typically work their south nigerians along with many others. Where is productivity be it igr or gdp south. Where are all the major business located lagos which is in south.
Now argue stats since you can't argue definitions. You switched goal post after you proven you don't know definition of Synonymous or synonyms of lazy. No what do you want now? You claim to be speaking of regions not individuals; yet you inadvertently switched to individuals when referring to hiring by the oil companies (note the correct spelling of hiring - olodo) - talk of shifting the goal post. BTW, if you talk of a region you inevitably also have to be inferring about its ppl because the two are virtually inseparable . Remove the contribution of oil and the attendant benefits of the industry to the local economies in the south; revise the stats again then come back and talk to me. Just like oil, Lagos has the advantage of the ports; remove this factor and imagine how that economy would suffer. Bottom line, oil and the port are blessings from God, which have nothing to do with any special effort of the ppl (or if you insist, a region) and cannot therefore be used as an excuse to justify insulting or discrediting others without such advantage as lazy or parasites. |

I call you illiterate as an insult you mental defect only you would take it literally. This emphasizes fact you don't grasp english language well. You wouldn't have argued that point with me if you did. Ps synonymous doesn't mean exact same. The words don't need to be. Funny you just proved you don't know definition of synonymous either. Lol you make the to easy @MeAboki
adjective: synonymous (of a word or phrase) having the same or nearly the same meaning as another word or phrase in the same language. "aggression is often taken as synonymous with violence" closely associated with or suggestive of something. "his deeds had made his name synonymous with victory" What a buffoon; then you were obviously being disingenuous and deliberately ambiguous in order not to be caught out in an argument - because you can always fall back on any of the alternatives as your intended version. Try as much as you want to wriggle out of your earlier statement; you cannot take away from the fact that your choice of the word lazy and the context in which you applied it to refer to northerners was very clear in intention and quite inappropriate, disrespectful and most importantly utterly baseless. As for the above (in bold), you must be out of your mind as I have never admitted to anything, let alone being tutored by you of all ppl - you were clearly lying. |

You obviously do not fully understand the meaning of the word illiterate, because if you could review the drivel you just wrote, you wouldn't be applying it to others so liberally. BTW, I don't need a thesaurus to successfully argue that LAZY and UNPRODUCTIVE are NOT entirely SYNONYMOUS - the former is directly related to lack of willingness to apply effort while the latter is related to the outcome of applied effort. Yes, they are related but not entirely the same; though I don't expect a brain like yours to comprehend. |
