Democracy must trickle down, political parties are for the good of Nigeria and Nigerians, political parties should not be anti democratic in their internal politics, when it is democracy that brought political parties into being.

Mr President this is not good for our democracy, I respect some of your decisions, but this one, is not for the general good. We must not allow partisan politics rid us off the benefits of democracy.

In times of internal insurgency or massive unrest beyond the control of the police the army comes in, it has happened in America during the massive looting aftermath of black lives, military reserves were called in and positioned for public peace, law and order, it happens military is a state institution, it's there for the good of the state. Yes, the military maintains the peace, because the way we are tribalized in Nigeria, if not for the military, by now we will all be at war.

Yes, a large portion of Nigeria is relatively peaceful, peace is the absence of war, in the literal sense.

Nigeria as a nation is not in a state of war, what we are witnessing are terrorists acts being carried out by insurgent groups, all parading different reasons for their actions, this is what the military is quelling in those areas.

I thought it was just one case of someone that came in from SA... they are the ones coming up with inflated figures, for their selfish reasons, it's time we start taking ourselves seriously, and not messing up ourselves because we need grants from WHO.

The undoing of Nigerians is that we treat religious leaders as "sacred" while in the US and UK, those we copy in religion and democracy, religious leaders who go foul of the law, are thrown into jail.

Not about my logic or yours, it is the applicable rules of engagement, this was clearly explained by the authorities, these are not from my logic or reason.
