No mind the ignorant people, private jets are taxed heavily to discourage Capital flights, so every government place huge taxes on such items, especially in Nigeria's case, where we do not produce such luxury goods. It's capital flight, this also contribute to the falling of our currency, via balance of payments deficit.

Progressive tax system is the way to go, looking further.

Right now, we are more interested in the substance of truth and justice which trumps the technical legalese ; we must demand that the panel is truthful and ensure that justice is done and seen to be done in a transparent and honest manner.

Inserting falsehoods in the Lekkilies EndSars report is a no no for me. It's completely unacceptable that a report declared the living as dead and recommended that my tax be paid to fictitious names ,so whoever inserted falsehoods into the report must be investigated and prosecuted for lying on oath.

The panel was instituted, not with the aim of prosecution, but with the aim of unravelling the truths,to heal wounds, and to pay compensation for victims, and to ensure such situations do not repeat itself.

We all want a better Nigeria, but justice, fairness and equity goes both ways.

The report is filled with inconsistencies, as Kemi the journalist, and quite a number of Lagosians have pointed out...whoever inserted the reports with falsehood needs to be named and shamed, and prosecuted for lying under oath.

In America very few have private jets, government always put high taxes on luxury items to discourage flight of our liquidity. If they invest that money and hire private jets when they need it, it makes more sense.

Pastors mobilize public (congregation funds), so government should not allow them spend that funds in a way that affects the economy negatively...this is part of monetary policy.
