Valencia are serious contenders for the title this season. With the likes of Pablo Hernandez, Jeremy Mathieu, Soldado, Mata, Banega, there is enough quality in the team. . . I believe with this win, we have turned the corner on our shaky form |
JSK vs TPM is currently goaless and its halftime |

second leg semi-final matches take place this weekend. JSK will have to score two unreplied goals when they take on defending champions, TP Mazembe, to qualify for the final on away goals. TP Mazembe head into the tie 3-1 up but JSK have a good record at home, winning all their three home games in the group stage. JSK vs TP Mazembe. 7:30 PM today. Esperance will also be looking to overturn their 1-2 deficit when they take on 6 times champion, Al Ahly at the November 7 stadium in Rades. Esperance's Michael Eneramo is currently the highest goal scorer in the competition and all eyes will be on him as Esperance need to score at least one unreplied goal to book a place in the final. Al Ahly head into the tie 2-1 up. Esperance vs Al Ahly. 8:15 PM, tomorrow |

I dont know why the Liverpool board are hellbent on selling to NESV. There are other bidders willing to pay as much as £400m while NESV are only offering £300m. I dont blame TH and for fighting tooth and nail to protect their investment. If the sale to NESV goes ahead, TH and stand to lose £140m. That's a whole lot of money |
RuuDie:I insist that Ibra has better ball control and overall technique than Berbatov and not forgetting his exquisite skills. In PES he has 97 for technique |
They both are very important part of football. The key thing is striking a balance between both. Clubs like Leeds United, Newcastle, Portsmouth have all suffered because of financial troubles. Leeds were in the champions league semis in 2002 but due to financial troubles, they went as low as the league one and only got promoted to the championship this season. Newcastle were regular contenders in champions league and uefa cup until they couldnt meet up financially anymore. Real Mallorca finished 5th or 6th in the La liga last season but because they went into administration, they were not allowed to play in the Europa league. On the other hand, the fans need trophies, it's the only thing that keeps them happy. A club cannot keep spending money and not win anything. If Man City for instance, do not win anything for the next two or three seasons, their sugardaddy will probably pull out and the club will come tumbling down. With clubs like Man United and Liverpool struggling to breakeven and with the new UEFA rules on clubs finances which does not allow you to spend more than you earn, set to be implemented , I forsee a situation where clubs will start adopting the Arsenal model. Why? It's simply the best way to stay afloat |
yes! but then I must admit, I'm not without blemish. I've done and still do some terrible things but I think a child of mine will have more to gain if he/she dates someone like me |

12large1:this same Niger defeated Egypt that have won the last three editions of AFCON. I guess almighty Egypt "sucks" too. There are no minnows in African football anymore, havent you heard? I think the problem with our play is not the lack of a creative midfielder but the lack of a playing pattern. Our players just get on the pitch and freestyle that's why their play is always disjointed and uncoordinated |
