could anyone that followed up the conference GMB had with the organised private sector, outline if the plan to addressing this various issues were put in place. Because for now voting in GMB is just on the idea that the present govt. Should be replaced for what they've not done-thats what i think the change is all about. Now,what will be done?,that's my question |
also, whom among them will be able to implement the result of the national conference. |
Inasmuch that the presidential elections is just few days ahead, some of us Nigerians are yet undecided, Yes! We are not undecided because we don't know that they are 14 candidates, But we are undecided because we don't want to vote with Nepotism, Tribal bigotry and biasness, power sharing formula, religious undertone wreathed all over our thinking. We want to think it through. My questions to GMB 1. I am oblivious of what you and your party want to do for Nigerians. The change mantra has been embedded on the same cancer eating deep into the Nigerian survival as a growing Economy-Security,Corruption,Infrastructure,electricity,Agriculture. The other parties as seen in the Vice presidential debate organised by NEDG are also blowing the same trumpeth, that means they also deserve our vote as much as you do. We need your blue print on how, when and what will be done to achieve them. 2. This years election is quite different from that of 2011(everyone knew that GEJ will win), there was a presidential debate he failed to appear in,but this time the party thinks they have a more rigorous plan ongoing. we would want your party to prove that yours is not negligible,it is better to continue slow and steady in achieving a goal, than to stop this and start a new agenda speedily with no goal in view. You have been consistent in avoiding any avenue to debate. 3. GMB you have surely won some hearts with the 'incorruptible general' title, you always don't like any reference to History that's why you have been angry with the documentary being aired in some Nigerian television. I think you should always stand for what you did and debunk those you didn't do when issues like this come up. I wouldn't blame you for some of the style of leadership in 1980's because we were in the military era,but may be you would have not done some things you did even though it was in that era, I hope the media will still have the freedom they have now(we can even tell what GEJ is eating, and how much he is loved or hated),when you are elected. 4. GMB how do you intend to tackle corruption-you have declared that past leaders won't be probed, the military also. I think It's unfortunate that you are sugar coating your purpose, the past leaders still have billions of dollars of the Nigerian money that lead to the death of people in hospitals, death froom bad roads, abandoned project. If you intend fighting corruption it should be wholeheartedly, thats what i want you to address before i vote. If they won't be the court, EFCC and others duly empowered by you to be independent and perform their duty without fear or favour you can't jail anyone like the military era. You should not say this to favour voters. Let them return them and face less stringent measures or pardon and they can be impeached or rezign as the case may be. My Questions to GEJ 1. You have taken a good step to tell Nigerians that you want to use technology to overcome corruption, but i also think you have not really done too well, How did some cases of corruption went silent and obliterated after commitees were assigned to them. Are top politician going to be tried in court this time when they steal, cos, stealing and corruption are evil. 2. I worked were i saw the various importation for the 700mw zungeru project and the NIPP,how come the current generation in Nigeria is still below 4000MW,is it the power of the cabals. 3.Why is the Nigeria military too cowardice during your regime, are they influenced by people to do so,why is thier morale that has been ever pirouetting before suddenly nose-diving is it lack of empowerment and how do you intend to rise same. 4. What are your laid down plan to diversify the economy, giving fertilizers to farmers is not really the diversification we crave for,how would the coal, palm oil, steel, textile, groundnut e.t.c be part of your diversification goals. Thank God the CJTF will end boko-haram soon, the issue is not only boko-haram If you have any questions that you want to be answered and not be decieved into voting for tribe or sentiment, please do here,we know there have PR's all over. |
Truly, Nigerians are the most difficult people to rule over. The agreement has been reached since the ASUU strike far before election, instead of applauding the govt. For keeping to their word and avoiding the strike menace, we have portrayed it as politricks.. The fund are released three to four times yearly, this may be for the first quater of the year. |
Rawani:chekwas has got no chance. Its better for them not to waste their vote. Instead of the votes shared |
SeverusSnape:laughing in burundi |
mrofficial:i have nothing to gain if he is healthy or not, he should just make sure he is well enough for the task ahead. |
lawrsmith:more handkerchief! You not be too sure |
Bugatie:That may be what they want you and others to believe. But we are watching. |
Politics as we all know is all about saving the best for last. I think one of the major points that has been used by the major ruling party to try to obliterate or malign the chances of GMB is to either spuriously paint the idea that he is not qualified based on the minimum qualification for education. These are the reasons why i think he may be saving the result to be released when the election is closest. 1. The election clearly puts that the candidate are to be cleared by their party and that sole responsibility is theirs and not of INEC, this provides an opportunity for them to create a situation that will catch the attention of the populace. 2. The party knows the blow of not having this minimum requirements and yet decided to field GMB. 3. The plan that GMB will not affix his certificate with the originally submitted form was part of APCs game plan from outset. 4. GMB could have applied for his results directly from cambridge but he decided to apply to his school in katsina. So that the questions about his results will keep coming up from the opposition. Is it that no one head of the party know about this means of soliciting for original result. 5. The constitution did not state that the candidate must submit a WASSCE or WAEC result but that the minimum requirement is a WASSCE certificate, GMB has higher result but he decided to go for the minimum requirement that will be seen has a pre-requisite he should have atleast possessed. 6.This will give the impression to a larger part of the country's population that atleast have a WASSCE certificate, that he should release the result and when the result is released he will have a large part of this population that are yet undecided on who to vote follow him. 7. The party leaders know that even though the case will be taken to courts, but once he becomes the president the judgement might be pinned on some form of impunity for perjury. Or atleast they are ready for whatever the court case will be 8. Many Nigerians at this election that will be tightly contended are confused and undecided on who to vote, when the Certificate is released by the party close to the election(they are saving the best for last),they will surely win a lot of sympathy vote for the general, for what he was put through on the certificate issue. Disclaimer: this will not be the case if the result is truly not available with Cambridge. Now to you all, can this be the pan of the APC party leaders. Lets do politics! |
muzzol:My concern is that this kind of incidents will be used by those that want to corroborate thier assertions. I never said he was immediately taken to hospital. If the need be,he can have a bottle of water around him,it's not wrong,i saw rochas okorocha doing so. |
ManUtdholic:Your sis. Noticed it? The severity of the cough will surely raise doubts on his health. Soon it will be cited by another person,to further support their claims about his health. |
M3Guy:no matter the gift, they want you;yes you being there. Being there doesn't mean having knowledge of each other. |
nke001:Ur statement seem to be all conclusive that GMB is not healthy; |
ASL33:sorry,pele, I don't have d picture of him coughing, because i wasn't preparing to capture him coughing. I am not praying for ill-health for him. But someone did confirm it here. |
dis is finally getting worse by d day and will sure put Nigeria in a bad lights. More education on this should be encouraged in Nigeria and a more strict law enacted. Whats is happening is Nigeria trying to overtake the Indians? Have indecency rate increased? Is this due to unprotection by parents?. This is wicked! |
Demburrows:I wouldn't call him a con man. Though he was quick to end the talk immediately,he started coughing. I am always attentive when rumours are rising. Hope the health issues tingy is not true. |

I don't know if i can understand the relationship with all these and the topic at hand. Sorry |
I found that when mohammed buhari was speaking to the mammoth croud in Lagos, towards the end he couldn't continue but was coughing. Though he stopped coughing and thanked the various party faithfuls. Could we say it is has a result of his health issues as paraded by some PDP supporters or is it as a result of possible need of water or perhaps he was thirsty. secondly, one of the moderators was alleging that the confusion in the crowd(the crowd were running around restlessly) was probably perpetrated by PDP thugs; can this be true? Because if it's not true,it won't be very good for the already heated political atmosphere. Though i believe that Age is not a thrust for Good governance, but GMB may be 73 but that should not be corroborating the health challenges alarm by fayose. I know soon some people may want to use the incident as one of thier weight for any discourse on his health. You will remember that PDP are saying that GMB hardly talks for long. Did U observer the situation and what is your opinion? |
its okay. Hope to enter one of these soon |
There was a thread on-going in front page, thats why dis thread was neglected. Thanks for your contribution. Barcelona won 4-2 on aggregate. |
They should also be insured. Unfortunately this may not be the case in a Nigeria were there are ready to only wait till after the danger is done and then the news of them giving out billions to families after many month and even years sometimes. Don't risk your life when you perceive any danger in the place U've been posted for the election, run for your life even the security men will run b4 U. My prayer is that there will be no election violence that will take any life,in Jesus name. |
intergral:what if he decides to seek admission again in another institution to study another four years course, this time around going for a course he discovers he can do very well on,due to self discovery,he may come out first class or fail,he/she might have learnt from mistakes. Vote for anyone that your heart tells U,i am not pushing 4 any body. |
The second leg of the copa del rey/kings cup quater-final to be played 9pm Nigerian time, today 28 january, Get live update here and lets discuss the match the barcelona fans in here. The first leg ended 1-0 in favour of barcelona at camp nou, with messi scoring a controversial penalty in injury time. I am predicting a 0-2 win for barcelona. This is one Cup in waiting if barcelona can just win atletico madrid, the other teams left are no match to us. Madrid is out |
every thing is percieved to be corrupt in Nigeria. If president Goodluck performs very fine, the oppositions will surely say he saw the questions before the debate. Maybe until the US organises it, there may still be an outcry. |
Many online polls have been brought up by some groups and the result have shown interesting result that got many people wondering, and sometimes the people that pilots them are in chagrin because of the result. I am none partisan to any political party, but i think the following should be reasons why the online polls in the political atmosphere of Nigeria may not really be a respresention of the wishes of the electorates at the polls. 1. The information of the online polls are not well circulated, and only a few people who fortutiously come in contact with them are able to vote and hence pass the information to those that they know support their candidate. 2. The group or body overseeing the poll are not trusted and hence many people refuse to participate in them. 3. Majority of Nigerians are still not internet enabled or are unable to browse the internet and sometime the vote can't be processed usiing mobile devices. 4. The corruption that is percieved of everything in Nigeria even when that may not be the case. 5. When there is a call for a new government from the incumbent the people craving for the change are always stronger in ensuring that they prove their points and make their voice heard, and so they are always ready to follow up and search for any avenue to do so; and one of this avenue is the online poll. 6. Those that believe they have the edge over the other party or candidate are not in any urge to follow up online polls because they have the notion that since they are the incumbent they can't lose the election. 7. Only a very handful of the total registered voters partake in the online polls, if atleast 40-60% can partake the outcome would definitely reflect on the votes at the polls, but in most cases the people that partake in them are not even up to 1% of the total registered voters and some of them may not be eligible to vote due to age limitations, fear of violence,or no PVC. Do you believe online polls in Nigeria reflect the final outcome of election in Nigeria, also buttress your answer with any reason/s? |
A Car Were Both can Ride Yes! Thats synanimous to relationships. There must be connection and a level of experience for the Journey ahead. Every one involved in a relationship have equal right to apply the brake, or speed up. Your commitance to ensure a safe journey must be Unanimous. The maker of the car made it in a way that you are mostly concerned with what you will meet upfront and the rear mirror to see whats coming from behind. You don't want to start a relationship when U don't know d person's past, cos when U ar in a relationship, you have decided to forget his/her past even though you know it might come hunting in the future. The journey might be tough with potholes and strong winds, that tries to becloud the vision of both of you,how you get out shows level of understanding. The truth about the car called relationships is that there is a limit on some point, you may pass through, these are: A.The Bridge called time It is very important because it determines what you can remember of each other when not together. The only limit is to '' avoid sex per secs" Yes! Apply break at dispoint, you may be driving too fast. It's a bridge that oncecrossed before a particularly right time,it can make the two blurred in what they see coming to stop their progress, emotions can easily be misleading, and you may not know your way back. Sex doesn't strengthen pre-marital relationships it does in marriages.this allow for both involved to only rely on mutual understanding in rational decisions and not lust. B. The highway called kindness Giving gifts in relationships and showing kind gestures tightens bonds and shows care. But you must watch the fuel to this car called relationship if it is selfishly made or conditionally. It can lead to blind giving, an great loss of choices for the receiver. C. The roundabout called trust. The relationship or the car can continue in a circle of unprogressiveness once distrust abounds.U should not be in relationship because of marriage but because U want to know each other, then you will not be biased in those times when you need to make bordering decision about ur future. any contribution or disagreement. let's know |
