Hi All, Is it advisable to go ahead and ask for an update either via call or mail on a visa application after you were sent an escalation mail. The clause of not contacting them until after 15 working days is annoying and scary.

I think that's the reason for the delay. You can make a paid call for escalation

Please for those that got NSF to submit additional documents and have gotten their visa, when sending the employment details for example, 5 offer letters and references from different organisation, am I going to attach all documents ( pdf) in one page making it one attachment or I have to make it 5 attachments in the email.

Why don't you do it organization by organization..

Not that I don't have docs to show but don't want them to be asking for extra documents later which slows down the visa process

It depends on your study gap. If your study gap is 5 years or more, I will advise you upload them to avoid delay in your visa bcus they might ask for them. I don't think they will ask for extra document once you upload your employment history with your application. But whatever you upload, avoid uploading your pay slip

What if the statement used for your visa is over 30 days old and visa has also Been gotten your visa over 30 days before travelling, and the money has been removed? Do I need to put the money back in and do the 28 days count to have the proof of funds before travelling? Hope they will not ask for SOA from period visa was issued till date?

My 1cent, u don't av to wait for another 28days if u av removed the money. If u av a means of returning the money into your account before u travel pls do and show them your balance if they asked for proof of your school fees and maintenance. The ECO will be more interested in whether u av the money or not., That is if they ever asked. Like the other person said, the probability that they will ask is slim. Pls just pray.

Biometrics : 17th December ( Did Walk in at abuja) I was lucky to be allowed in. I got appointment for January 5th.

Docs Submitted: Bsc Certificate, Degree Transcript, GCE O Level for English( I wrote Duolingo English Test but It wasn't accepted for some schools.), TB test, CAS, Affidavit for Certificate, Bank Statement.
Additional Docs Submitted: NYSC certificate, 1 Work Reference Letter, CV - I have 9 years study gap. That's why I decided to upload them at once.

No NSF
No Interview

Collection Mail : 4th January
Passport picked up today at DHL: 6th January

May everything continue going smoothly!

Relax man, we are saying the same thing. When I say they count from the day of the closing balance, it means they count backward from that day not forward.

Srzly ?.. Ok closing balance is the the amount u have in your account on the day u av decided to be the last day of your transaction and not necessarily the day u print. For instance, if u print a statement from 1s Dec to 28th Dec and u did the printing on the 30th of Dec, your closing balance will only show the amount u av in your account as at 28th and not the 30th u printed

And mind you. The day u did biometric is inclusive. The activities start immediately after your biometric.

Also note that ukvi is different from TLS. TLS might not work on those days (27th and 28th). That why people didn't get collection mail mail or update on the track those days but people get direct message from ukvi on those days

You are very correct. Many people receive mail on 27 and 28th we call holiday here.

Nope. Today made it 11 working days. I don't how how you people calculate this thing sha but the day you did your biometrics isn't inclusive. 24th to 28th were holidays, 1st to 3rd were holidays. Where did 13 working days come from?

They worked on 24 and 31st. Some people even received their visa on 31st. I also have someone who received mail from ukvi on 27th and another person on 28th

Yes u can but I will advice u chill and get a biometric date first b4 u decide from date to print. Someone did his biometric a 3weeks after he submitted his application and Statement he used had already expired. He had to reprint another one a day to his biometric.

Just got this. Biometrics on the 14th.

Why would they ask for 3 months statements. What if the POF wasn't in the account before the month. What if the person started his/her pof by October. What is this

Don't mind the person. By calculation, it already 11 working days excluding the holidays and today... I don't know where the 7 days is coming from
