Washing vegetables, cos I have to take real time to ensure nothing foreign, like sand worms or insects remain in it. Then cleaning up after a major cooking spree, makes me grit my teeth.

FamilyRe: What Will You Do If Your Girlfriend Slap Your Mum? by megareal: 4:09pm On Mar 13, 2013
Question: What did your mum do to the girlfriend? grin grin grin
Seriously, beat her to death? And her family will now melt you in hot oil and use you as soap. What will it serve? Sometimes, the better answer to extreme provocation is to walk away till you cool down. Yes it hurts but retaliation at the height of anger will bring bigger problems.
So when you have cooled down, you hold her down and let your mum slap her twice, then you severe the relationship. At least you will be pacified. Tit for tat. grin grin grin grin
FamilyRe: What Is Your Perception About Luck In Marriage by megareal: 3:55pm On Mar 13, 2013
There are people you meet whether in marriage or outside it and they bring positive changes to your life, others may not be so. I think the tragedies are too close together for them to be called coincidence. Something is definitely wrong somewhere, and it may not be the poor woman.. Tell him to start looking for answers. He shouldn't take it as just 'one of those things'.
FamilyRe: What Are The Things You Enjoy As A Married Man/lady by megareal: 3:47pm On Mar 13, 2013
1.Definitely the no boundaries in bed matters, but I still got some issues with that. grin
2.As for respect, I already had that even as a single lady. God created me in a way that respect comes to me even without my asking or working for it.
3.The reduction in absurd male proposition. Now I can have a biz discussion with someone without them asking me out. I also clinch more deals now that they don't see me as a challenge anymore.
On the downside? I've completely lost my freedom cry cry :'
FamilyRe: Did I Made Mistake by megareal: 3:38pm On Mar 13, 2013
You did well sister. Being miserable in the hands of a man who thinks you should only be a baby manufacturing company is not worth it. Life can give you beautiful surprises you never bargained for, all that is ever needed is a 'can happen' mindset and a change of location from the source of your misery. All the best and may life deal kindly with you.
FamilyRe: Ladies, What Will Make You Disrespect Your Husband? by megareal: 3:25pm On Mar 13, 2013
Yea, I've seen some women emasculate their husbands because of changing financial situations. But as someone said earlier, you never may know how the man treated his wife when he was buoyant. Respect begets respect. But truth be told, its best for any spouse to hide his/her inner devil when outside. Dirty laundries should never be aired in public. And it is wrong for any woman to disrespect her husband (especially before witnesses cos anger can make people misbehave sometimes) no matter the provocation. Its good to rattle on but two things I would never do; Openly defy my husband no matter the provocation nor belittle him to feel less than a man at any time.

FamilyRe: My Husband Is Having Ex Issues! by megareal:
OP, you are staring at a brewing adulterous situation. Your husband is still in love with his ex and I dare to presume he feels much less for you. Its a recipe for disaster. The man's got no respect for you else he wouldn't still be talking with his ex! Your marriage is too young for the bull shyte. I fear when he talks with his ex, she is pretentiously bemoaning how terrible her current marriage is and wishing she hadn't left him. He then now wishes he hadn't met you, hence the brooding mood. You may talk with him, but if he's not really interested in your feelings, I fear you will be wasting your time and may incur his resentment. Sometimes, it takes competition to make people sit up. Two can play the game. Whatever you need to do to make your husband realise you are still very much desirable to the male folk, pls do. Right now he doesn't see you as good enough or even better than his ex. If he realises that other males see something good in you, he will have a rethink. Re-package or re-invent yourself and as someone suggested, try to become more than his ex ever was. And pray hard that he doesn't wake up one day and leave the marriage.

RomanceRe: I Am Not Attracted To My Bf by megareal: 2:39pm On Mar 13, 2013
Volumptuos_bebe: Society mistakenly assumes that because women often end up with men that appear less physically attractive, that women don’t put so much value on looks, that men are the more visual sex. However, this I feel is totally untrue, because just because a woman ends up with a particular man does not mean she actually desires him. Usually pressures from society, family and her biological clock force her to settle.
Of course looks alone won’t make a good relationship, but I personally feel that good sex is an important part of a relationship, and I just could not imagine having to ever sleep with a man just to make him happy.
People are always telling me I’ll end up alone with cats, because I’m too picky and I wont ‘settle down with some nice guy’ whom I have no attraction to whatsoever. That somehow as a woman this makes me superficial, whereas men are allowed to be superficial because of their ‘biological needs’. Well, as a woman I feel my biological needs are to mate with an attractive man, surely this is natural? Women in fact are constantly being told to reject who they really are. It is a sad thing that women are usually the ones who get the worse end of the deal with their partner, sexually speaking anyway.
Anyway, I would rather end up alone with cats then have to suffer through sex with a man I did not want. Perhaps it is this thinking that worries society the most, because if more women stayed true to themselves, there would be a lot less men who could get the women that they wanted.
Kudos girl, couldn't have said it any better. Women, please learn to care for your needs before any one else's. Ever wonder why women age faster? Because society expects too much from us and we gullibly carry the burdens trying to please all and sundry except ourselves.
@ OP, follow your mind. You haven't done anything wrong by following your mind. If there is no fire, let the guy go. You will only end up being miserable if you let yourself get into it out of pity. As I always say, personal happiness first....., then everyone else's.

RomanceRe: Why Men Like Confident Women. by megareal: 5:46pm On Mar 08, 2013
I love confident women. Most often we get what we want, when we want and how we want it. We are independent, smart and intelligent. Our confidence comes from truly knowing who we are and exploring our strengths to achieve what we want. But @op, Its only the confident man that can keep a confident woman. shikena

Looks like you've got a good head on your shoulders but you are simply refusing to use it. Everything you've listed points to the fact that it can't work. You are simply a puny to be plundered by him. Move on already but let him know it. A message to inform him you are no longer interested is enough. Hold unto your values and if you ever want to sleep with someone, at least let it be someone who cares enough about you.
