Put it under proof of finance Asked again to be sure and to know if any other person has a different view . Questions are never too much. Thanks anyway |

mcobex: Under SOA should do Thanks for your response Do you suggest I arrange it in such a way that each SOA follows the corresponding payslip or the 2 SOAs first, followed by the payslips . I mean my own SOA and that of my sponsor then my own payslip and that of my sponsor? |

thompson1510: Morning Guys, after waiting for 5 weeks, i have been granted CAQ. But right now, I am thinking of deferring my admission till Winter Semester (January)because of the time frame. I am supposed to resume 4th of September. What do you bosses think please? Can i still make it or i should defer the admission?
And I am thinking of changing school if i am given study permit but i don't know if Concordia university refunds tuition fees please..
Right now, i don't know where to start from...and i am already gathering all the required documents... Got my CAQ over the weekend too and I'm applying next week also to resume by Sept 4th. Concordia University doesn't request for tuition deposit except the CAD250 acceptance or were you asked to make a deposit? |

nivlek000: Hello Frank,
I feel you're being unduly defensive. It doesn't appear to me that the lady is blaming anyone. Yes you tried your best in helping her with her SOP and I trust she appreciated that. However, I don't see the point of your condescending tone or choice of words. She's clearly devastated she doesn't need this attitude from anyone. You're a great guy, you've been really helpful here; let's stick with that narrative.
Hi Guys!!! Another hopeful Hopeful here. TRV fall on us! Please can you edit the post you quoted? Thanks |

okwadatigbogal: Mr Knowitall Visa Officer. I have been so quiet on this thread but I have to reply this. This is the most proud, condescending and annoying reply I have seen here. There's really no known formular for this visa thing. We have seen ppl put up airtight applications but still were denied. We have seen those who didn't even submit Sop or some other documents and were approved. This thread is for sharing ideas and encouragement. The lady was probably devastated. That kind of crass reply is abhorrent, biko. You're not God and you don't know it all. Lastly, I see people here asking others for help with writing sop. You are the only one who can write your own sop, because you understand your situation/condition. If at this stage of life, you can't write an sop for yourself in your own words, then you don't deserve a graduate degree. it's okay to ask for guidance though. My 2 cents Can you edit the post you quoted? The guy has apologized for his outburst. Thanks |

chkb: Abeg make nobody just pay in money and immediately print SOA o, cos CIC get access to our acct o Nobody needs access to your account before you can detect lump sum. It'll reflect on your SOA, so no rocket science in this. Date of that transaction will be on the SOA and it'll show recent deposit. Unless there's something you are trying to say that I'm not getting |

Hemecee: Hello everyone, I’m new here and please I will like to ask how to go about my online route since I’m currently outside Nigeria ( I live in Ankara,Turkey). I will like to ask about the biometrics and medicals; does this mean I have to come back to Nigeria and do it. My travel history includes Russia and a legal RP of Turkey.
Replies are highly welcomed pleaseeeeeee If you have a status in Turkey other than visiting, then you should apply from Turkey. By this I mean if you have a student status or a resident status. It'll be to your advantage because Turkey should have a faster processing time than Nigeria. Your biometrics and medicals will be done in Turkey. But if you are on a visiting visa to Turkey, you'll have to come back to Nigeria to apply |

bbclue: Additional. .hmmmmm to me I will say you reprint all over again..because printing additional page will be on a separate bank paper....or are u going to staple it with the previous one......just closed your eye and reprint 6month bank statement....other you can still print 3month bank statement if you wish I'm obviously going online, so I plan to scan the additional month and merge with the previous and explain why I have to do that. The SOA is for my sponsor, the previous one cost him about AUD35 to send via DHL, which I don't think he'll be willing to do again. I'm thinking if he can just scan the additional month and I explain with letter from Quebec about the delay in processing CAQ |

gerrymini: @Frankrobbin1 @Austinpee4
I need your opinion on this. I printed my bank statement on April 30 and I will be submitting my application on Wednesday, May 30, even though I am not sponsoring myself, do you advise to reprint my statement or is it still valid? I have a similar issue. My sponsor got his bank statement on 26th of April from his Australian bank thinking my CAQ would be ready before the 26th of May but instead of the CAQ, I got a notification to send additional documents for my CAQ to be issued. The SOA became a month old on 26th of May. My questions are, can my sponsor just send another month's SOA, covering just from 26th of April till present day and I'll add it to the previous one ending 26th of April? or he should just get a new SOA for 6 months? Moreover, the Australian bank didn't address the letter to IRCC but there was a disclaimer that the info on the SOA is correct as at the time it was issued but reliance on it is solely at the expense of whoever, is this not counterproductive? @Frankrobbn1 @Jnyuwa02 @Austinpee4 @mcobex |

Depending on the route you are taking, if it's paper route, you pay at VFS but if it's online, you pay with your card online About 55k for paper route and 65-70k for online route depending on the exchange rate of your bank at the time of payment |

Lemia: @justwise while I agree with you that some people can easily get money just to show for visa sake and then remove after applying just to deceive the embassy, you have to agree that deceit or fraud is not always the point.
You agree with me that asides having the right amount in your account balance, the embassy all checks cash inflow, cash out flow, employment letters. All these are to prove that there's a constant source of income and the applicant has the ability to generate funds when required.
That being the case, it's clear that account balance isn't the only thing and that account balance may change so far the applicant to generate the funds when required.
Also come to think of it. if the embassy really wants to ensure you have the money at the point of issuing visa, then they wouldn't even request that account statements be at least one month old. we all know a lot can happen in a month. Also if they wanted to be sure you an applicant has the money at the exact required time, then they'll probably ask for account statement last like they do for medical call.
I'm in no way supporting fraud but not everyone in this scenario should be considered fraudulent. You are truly a student of Prof Owaba and Dr. Anyaeche |

Travel › Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 14 by MeinKampf: 11:32am On May 27, 2018 |
Prudento: It makes all the sense because you are thinking of innovating ways to misrepresent. You wish they don't check the account so you coukd lie that the money is meant for studies in Canada, then turn around and withdraw it for another purpose. Where I'm from this is called deviousness. You guys make things difficult for other Nigerians. Sounds like what you have a great deal of idea on. People like you accuse others of what they do from time to time. VOs aren't dumb, they know that even if you leave the money in your account for aeons, a dubious person will still divert the money. They are particular about proving means of livelihood of you or your sponsor to know that you can meet your financial obligations. Few people I know have scaled through with less than 1k dollars in their sponsor's accounts but the sponsors were able to demonstrate huge monthly income. Have a nice day |

Travel › Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 14 by MeinKampf: 9:46am On May 27, 2018 |
justwise: It's fraud because you deliberately lied to the embassy that you have money for the student visa to be used in Canada while in reality you have withdrawn the money. It's called misrepresentation and it carries 5yrs ban. I think we need to know this, so we can start to sue our banks for breach of privacy. Why would a bank disclose my balance to any organization, except law enforcement agencies? It's not always fraud. What is wrong in deciding to transact business with my money that will still be available to me whenever I need it? Must one tie down his money because of application for visa? I haven't come across anywhere in CIC rules that your money can't be used for other purposes pending when there's need for it. I think that's why some people are asked to either show evidence of payment or money in a Canadian bank account before a final decision can be made. These are my opinions though |
