He didn't say all are evil but come to think of it, what made you think they can't all be evil? Do you know this so called governors and presidents order targeted assassination using state apparatus like Police and secret services? How are you so sure those guys don't kill when you haven't been a member for a second. At least we've heard from people on the inside of Nigerian cults talk about their murderous orientations, we can't stay here and say with certainty that those fraternities don't kill kingthreat: I didn't judge them whether evil or good. From your judgement all American presidents and majority of their governors are evil. Because 90% these men all were part of a fraternal body in their lifetime. |

You have a point there. butterfly777: Maybe not. Remember, contributors were advised to modify some facts for strategic purposes.
The truth is, we do not need 100 percent accurate OTs. What do we need it for? At least, we are not going to be saying or practicing those things. Only those who want to impersonate may be after perfectly accurate info on OTs.
We just need info that will demystify the cults and open our eyes to their presence around us and among our loved ones. The info also helps those attracted by the OTs that there is no big deal in it.
I think the writing exposes are generally ok. |

Someone accused most making exposé here of deliberately misleading their OT. So , this might be an attempt to put us all on high jump. I can't see the topics on various cult groups on your profile Accountability: You interchanged this particular info. "Edu na massa, Maria na glory", this KK piping is self explanatory implying Edu is an unserious girlfriend of a KK member and can be used by a rival cult member/massa to plot against that KK member or she might even belong to the female counterpart of a rival cult group/massa, while Maria is the serious spouse or wife of a KK member and a glory to the Konfraternity. |

We all know you want to read the gory details of hits, same as my humble self but that doesn't mean we should forgo another dimension to demystifying this cankerworm of cultism Chris525: Honestly, ndoeyopbennet atk1nson just like many others before him, is right. Your research is not totally unrelated to the discuss but it adds too little to it. It waters it down a great deal & provides a leeway for people with ulterior moves to derail the thread.
The amount of people who have pointed to this fact is unusual & that shouldnt go without your notice. You're a researcher & I'm sure you appreciate the value of feedback.
What you're doing is great but how about you create a thread for this research, where you can dump all your stuff & even attract your own crowd of like minds. Rather than doing that here and alienating the readers.
Every day there's an argument on this thread about your work. Which makes it kind of counter productive to the mission of the OP as much of that energy could have been pulled into & in furtherance of the subject of the thread.
Your membership & contribution on the thread is valuable; its just the part that has to do with your work. |

They are all the same. I was sold a lie by them that I wouldn't need to worry about my academics again because they knew I was after my academics, imagine those talking to me had spent almost 8 years for a 5 years course. I kept wondering if they thought everyone was dumb. A very close friend of mine, a childhood family friend that we've been together since like age 3 was lured in, I started noticing a yellow beret with him . He would tell me everytime that BAN needed someone like me but he knew he couldn't force or cajole me into whatever I never want to do. The worst thing is that this my family friend was always a subject of ridicule in and off the campus. He would go to steal and he would be caught on every occasion, as if he was under a spell to go and suffer humiliation. Even his BAN brothers would beat him up on many occasions. His favourite quote was always JOBBING IS ALLOWED, which I know is BAN inspired. Cultism is shit Passionate888: I thought nyben don't do forced initiation? |

Cultism is bad though but your analogy defeats your logic. For whatever reason, Bokoharams are Muslims, Knight Templar and Crusaders are Christians. What they are trying to say is murderous cultists do not represent all cultists, same way you agree that Bokoharams do not represent all Muslims, though this is a subtle way of promoting cultism which this thread condemns but the Bokoharam analogy justifies their positions. Leave them to their rationalisation of their cultism ethos until they face rival cultists who will spare them during hits because they are "good cultists" subcbouy:
When you are against it, it means you don't buy their ideas. Two persons cannot walk together expect both agree.
It may interest you to know that as it is in Christendom so it is in Muslim, with different ideology. So many theories and practices. |

They don't even attempt to know. They are being spoon-fed by those who don't even know the meaning of most of their respective ideologies. Most cult groups know this , so they carefully select those that'll be in charge of their PR and image laundering subcbouy: I must confess that I really enjoyed your writings, such a superb illustration. But almost today's cultists don't even know any of these deep beliefs or culture. It is because of this many are a bunch of ridiculous beasts. I know all that but what I appreciate in your response is not attempting to hush the guy into abandoning his quest which wouldn't yield results anyway. Bolaji Carew was sold to me as an intellectual that I should study during my undergraduate days as far back as 2003, my resilience and my inquisitive nature prevented me from buying in on that lane and I'm happy for it Rica came across to me then as a rebel and someone that loved to challenge the status quo, which I'm also one, so I didn't buy the hype. I'm the type that'll never submit my freedom to any group, even organised religious groups like fellowship, that too helped in guiding me aright Macro231101: Everyone know Carew isnt a super human but he was a Man of many letters , that said , He laid the Foundation of Buccaneers so we had reverrence him, thats why we ways tell our fellow brothers to follow the path Of Rica , which many lord doesnt follow..But that aside he was a fellow human being like Us.. |

Someone that's doing research on lingos has been able to demystify the Rica that was thought to be a superhuman, he's not so super at all, he got most of his lingos from an existing language but because blacks are largely intellectually lazy , we assumed for so long that those languages can't be decoded. Macro231101: he was hauled on Isl ,it was unfortunate incident ...infant I detest it...he was on drugs and drunk when he was being hauled ....but let justice prevail Yes, it must be the fault of the deceased. For aspiring cultists, this is a typical way your so called brothers will blame you eventually when you are killed and still blame your death on being high on drugs and alcohol. No truer words than this. Even if you have a faint idea of dangers ahead, they play it down for you and attempt to blame those caught up or dead already that they failed to keep to certain nonexistent rules or they failed to fortify themselves properly. Cultists are like spiritual leaders (pastors, Alfas and traditional worshippers) they'll never admit that their proferred solutions failed to work, it'll always be your fault either by claiming you didn't totally adhere to instructions or higher powers affected the potency or efficacy of their suggested solutions. Even when you know various members killed, they'll downplay it for you and tell you that if you follow their nonexistent guide, that won't be your lot. You only get to know those talking you in are also scared as Bleep and are also uncertain about their next moments Dayoung335: You're wrong man, 90% of cultist got no idea what they're walking into.
Think about it, will you consciously know you're going to sign your death warrant and still go ahead with it?
Will you be aware of what the initiation entails; horrible mendings and torture process, and still walk into that initiation ground?
During my initiation almost every initiate there was screaming " bros una no tell me say na like this e dey be na"
100% of cultist have no idea what cultism fully entails before joining, na after you join u go understand wetin you enter, that's just how it is.

Ask those doubting where's a certain guy called Dadiyata? He disappeared for over a year now with no traces and up till today DSS are still denying he's with them Vanzcharles: Let me clear the air on the controversy of DSS sentencing someone to 30 yrs imprisonment when caught in an initiation ground. Those of you saying DSS dont involve thselves in such issues, DSS dont directly involve themselves in searching of cultist in the country but they act on tip offs before they make move. I have seen this that's why I am talking. There was a particular incident that happened in my school institution in 2018. That was the period of sug elections. Prior to that day they were cult clashes on that fateful day, some hoodlums swung to action to scatter the whole process in all faculties of the school. The school vc put some call across and members of the Department state service came in around 4 : pm to the faculty of science. By their arrival, most if the boys causing mayhem fled the scene... Their OGA who was present with them came to address and said he didn't come with violence because he believed this was a school environment but he made emphasis if anyone was caught, he would be taking to abuja straight up. Another incident happened in 2017 NANS election that turned out bloody in Otuoke, Bayelsa. I wouldn't go into details about that, after the war between some cultist from NDU, FUO and Uniuyo. Note: A uniuyo law student was killed in FUO and some of his members on hearing it traveled all the way from uyo to take hit in Bayelsa in which they succeeded. On their return, they were accosted by the Police force who were ordered by the state governor yo return normalcy.. In the statement of the governor of Bayelsa state he said he would not tolerate or forgive them... They returned in the same bus of other uniuyo students who had gone earlier. They were stopped at yenogoa, and were searched about 5 of them had weapons on them were arrested and transfered to the department of state service. All 5 students were on 4.0 cgpa scale and mostly final year students * who says cultist dont graduate with good grades*. They were transferred to Abuja till date they are still in custody except anyone who may have found his way out ..this is Nigeria tho. If you come here to argue DSS dont arrest or hold people. One you are caught they would transfer you to underground prison in Abuja no one would know about it. No info to your parents or so.. This is Nigeria atleast we are not ignorant about the unconstitutional arrest everyday by the security bodies.. Act wise and shun cultism.

For those trying to preach there are "good" cultists, there's a quote on this thread
You can't hold a candle in a tunnel with people that naturally like darkness, they will extinguish your flame so as to make everywhere dark just the way they love it. The danger in this is that they are used to darkness while you aren't and your candle must have been extinguished , then you'll be out of place while they'll feel at home in a natural habitat they love. The best thing for a "good" cultist to do is to leave cultism for the bad ones |
