Frankrobbn1: chisiudeh,
You must be an online applicant. Sorry! The previous list of documents was meant for paper route applicants. The below are the forms you're expected to fill and upload during online applications.
1-) Study permit form made outside Canada IMM 1294, 2-) Family information form IMM5645. Hello, in applying online, are the forms to be downloaded and filled then attached or you simply fill them online? I asked because I have Adobe DC, yet the forms aren't clickable for me to be able to fill or do I need Internet before I'm able to edit the forms? Thanks for your anticipated reply cc: jnyuwa02 cc: Twallace cc: Silk |

Please how do I go about this? Or do I have to validate first before I'm able to fill the form? Thanks for your anticipated replies @Frankrobbn1 @Jnyuwa02 |

VickyRotex: Hi, sorry for the late response. Have you been able to resolve this? Thanks for your response. I contacted the school and was told the letter is OK. That whenever CAQ gives that reason for intent to refuse, it means I only submitted first page of the admission letter. That I should send the complete admission letter and offer to CAQ and I'll be fine with that |

rolorolo: Hi,
It may or it may not. In my own case, I had previously travelled to Canada. Didn't stay up to six month and I was picked on travel history. Although, I birth my baby in Canada which was not stated in my TRV application then. I am yet to receive the GMCS note to understand the issue.
I have another instance where an applicant visa was denied because all other members of the family currently holds a valid TRV. I am in this situation as well. Once I receive my note, I will share it.
Thus, previous travel history to Canada may or may not affect your application based on the circumstance involved.
Thanks Wait for your note to be sure of the specific reason why you were refused. Travel history as a generic reason doesn't mean it has something to do with your having been in Canada previously unless you violated your visa terms. Travel history most times is just a bonus refusal reason, it's not always the main reason. Once the main reason is tackled, travel history will naturally disappear. What do you have to say about people that haven't left Nigeria and yet have travel history as part of their reasons for refusal? Travel history can't be a stand alone reason any application is denied unless you have history of previous visa terms violation |

Ratawu: Even previous travel to Canada may contribute to refusal ground What sort of statement is this? How does previous traveling to Canada contribute to refusal? We should all be careful about information we give out because some people might take them hook, line and sinker. Previous travel to Canada will not contribute to refusal unless you violated any of the terms of your previous visa. It will even be a blessing in disguise that you can honor your visa terms. |

Jimmychuks2018: My wife is presently in Canada. In her case she got a letter from Accra that the statement of account she presented was fraudulent....we did not border coming here to ask because if we did, you guys would start judging us that our account was fake. All we did was we went to the bank got a letter, that this account number belongs to this person and that it has been running since so so year and that the bank gave her a statement of account on so so date and the balance on that day was so so amount, that was it, The manager signed and within 2 weeks her visa was approved. Guys Let's stop judging people that come here to seek for help. ITS NOT FAIR!!!!By the way am on spouse open work permit.
For those that are asking about Income cut off for a family visa. They actually use Lico to access SOWP. I saw this in my GCMS note. " The visa officer said he was refusing our application because our account was below lico for a family of 4. All the best to those still waiting for their visa.
uote author=Austinpee4 post=67140242] Nobody is judging anybody and nobody will. Some responses and answers given are most times from what has happened in previous times or from a trend and understandably, it cannot be used to base a conclusion at all times.
However, It will interest you to note that a lot of folks only seek help when they have landed themselves into trouble. Rather than telling the full story, a lot would be hidden under the shelve. This thread has seen countless of situations regarding fraudulent or doctored document. The Canadian visa office especially that of Accra will likely not give a procedural fairness correspondence to an applicant if they have not found out something. It is something they have been doing for years now and from both this forum and outside this forum, it is usually true that these individuals engaged in unscrupulous acts as they test the meticulous nature of these officers. Funny enough, some just dive into their hands not knowing similar fraudulent document(s) have been seen in the embassy by these officers from time immemorial.
Also, do not be too affirmative that everybody that comes here to seek help do so with all sincerity, some just want a way out without letting the cat out of the bag. Nobody would own up to something fraudulent at the first instance. When things seems complicated, the truth lies within. I just needed to point this considering that these things have happened and are not new here. My only advise to people is, if you truly need help, you must make the truth known. I have seen many cases where the embassy soft peddled in their decision on the consequences of a misrepresentation and this often is when the applicant inject element of the truth in the response. The hardly send a procedural fairness letter if they don't find something fishy. It's a waste of time on their part without a strong evidence. The process of a procedural fairness is mandated by their law and has rights for the respondent( applicant). Do you really think an officer would want to give such applicant such advantage if he/she cannot substantiate it? Certainly not!
Regards. People respond here based on de javu feelings. It's wrong to judge every case according to what we have experienced before. The barrage of criticism and condemnations that follow such request for help here can prevent the person from coming back here to answer subsequent questions. CIC accuses people wrongly sometimes. First Bank recently changed the way they present SOA but CIC is yet to come to terms with this, so they accused 2 people I know of fraudulent SOA but the branch replied to confirm the authenticity of the SOAs and both are in Canada now |

Prudento: The information at the website is misleading sha. Anyways, got nothing to do with online application You are the one that's confused. What's on the website is that you can either choose to do upfront medicals and attach the slip to your application while submitting irrespective of whether it's paper or online route or you submit your application and wait till you are asked to proceed for medicals. Allow people attend to other pressing and important requests by laying this to rest. Thank you |

However, the study questionnaire may be filled with pen if you have a knack for penmanship that you are keen on showing. Thanks Jeremy. You seem like someone I'll love to meet in person. Good day all. I want to ask for clarification on online route. 1. Do I have to download the application for study visa form and fill or it's possible to fill online without downloading so as to validate it? 2. Can I download the form and fill with a pen, then scan it back? 3. If number 2 is possible, where does validation come in? I need answers to these questions as the only document I'm waiting for is CAQ, once I have it, I should be ready to apply for TRV |

I applied for mine 2 weeks ago and sent the hard copies of the documents to Quebec since 2 weeks but yet to get acknowledgement that they got it. It's a straightforward process. All you need is data page of your passport, a passport photogragh and copy of admission letter with a pay of CAD 105 |

Frankrobbn1: Quote me anywhere! I stand yes!!! and I'm 100% certain that Canadian embassy don't regard Company bank statement as primary proof of funds to applicant for a study visa. Reasons because in each company there are board of directors that foresee the affairs of the company and the visa officer knows that sponsoring applicant from company's account will require you consulting the shareholders of the company, of which they know that the shareholders also have some share from the business finance, with their dependants to cater for.
" I have seen applicants that submitted their application with 150M company bank statements and got refused for insufficient funds. But in their second attempt they changed it to their sponsor personal bank statement and got approved. As I said earlier, you can use company bank statement but make sure you add it up with sponsor personal statement to evident proof of his/her financial establishment.
Note: Applicant that chooses to use only company bank statements for the visa application must provide proof that their sponsor is the sole signatory to the account before such application will scale through and the shareholders of the company won't be a hindrance to this . If not its an automatic refusal for insufficient funds.
Thank you! The boldest is the correct statement. CIC regards sponsorship from company's account as sole proof of fund but you need to demonstrate why the company is sponsoring you and board meeting resolution where the decision to sponsor you is ratified. You are doing a great job |

samuel466: Good morning everyone, I recently got admission from McGill University to study Bioresource Engineering (MSc Non-thesis option). I am yet to send my official transcript and proof of graduation across to them due to the ongoing strike but I have decided to go ahead with the Visa application. Does anyone in the house have a clue about CAQ application, what it entails and how to successfully apply? I was told it precedes application for a study permit. Yes, CAQ is a must for anybody going to Quebec province for study. You have to obtain this before you can apply to CIC for a study permit. All you need to apply for CAQ are : your acceptance letter from your school, data page of your passport, payment of CAD110. It takes 20 business days after the receipt of your documents is confirmed. You can read more here http://www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/en/immigrate-settle/students/obtaining-authorizations/certificat-acceptation/index.html |

jnyuwa02: Not just having someone in Canada, but the person has to be a permanent resident or citizen of Canada to get that $5 rate. You have to write a letter too or fill out a government of Canada form given the person permission to get your records. Just helped someone to do it two days ago, the process is rather detailed. I think many people on this forum without permanent residency or citizenship have helped people to get the 5 CAD note |

Makinde is loved in oyo state and with Ladoja's backing, forget it...but Akala fvcked up big time and he will regret it Seyi Makinde is a political nonentity. People only love his fat pocket and this hasn't translated to votes for him. He is seeing as ATM. Ladoja has schemed him out of PDP already that was why he opted for a parallel state Congress at Oke Ado as against Watershed. I only pity him because his ambition has made him a slave. |
