Buhari is adored in the North because of his strong Islamic ideas not integrity.Atiku was rejected because he is liberal. The North don't like liberal Muslims, they want people that can openly support & defend Islamic agenda like sharia & Jihad. Buhari has done this over the years
Sure.

Obasanjo was a compensation for what they did to Abiola.

Politics4 Main Reasons Atiku May Loose. by mekaboy(op): 10:00am On Feb 26, 2019
Those saying Atiku would have picked VP from the SW are wrong. No matter where he picked his VP from in the south, the result would have been the same. Real Nigerians are suffering and there is no way you can buy the votes of everyone in the south, even if the VP is from the SW.

Here are the 4 main reasons Atiku could loose.

1) illiteracy

Majority of voters in the North are uneducated and unexposed. For this reason, they don't expect much from life. That's why food is cheaper in the North. hRe average northern farmer, lives in a small house, goes to farm, sells his or her produce just to feed and go back to farm. while their colleagues in the South want to make enough profit to pay school fees and build a house. So they channel all their energy to religion, since they don't have much to do in life. Even the bokoharam sees western Education as a sin.

Unfortunately, buhari relates and identifies with this group of northerners. From his statements about sharia in the past, they see him as a strong believer. He has always defended bokoharam and even got a faction of the terror group to work with him as president. Believe it or not, many of those jobless northerners admire the bokoharam sect. For the first time Buhari allowed them to move about the streets and the northerners hailed them. By that single act, he openly identified with them.

After being head of state, buhari remain in the North and did not socialize or venture into business.

Atiku is a strong believer in education, which some parts of the North frown at.

He socialized with people from the south. Engages in business, therefore he can't make such public statements about sharia and Islam like buhari. So he is not considered a full or strong Muslim who can defend their interest.

2) 2023 presidency.

A lot of politicians from the south are nursing presidential ambition, and feel Atiku wants to cut short their expectations . They put personal interest above national and fought to ensure Atiku did not win.

3)Unemployment and idleness in the North

Majority of the youths in the North are idle and available for politics. Political season for them is like Christmas season in the south . That's when most of them get to see politicians and Nice cars in their environment. They are readily available, and make their decisions based on what they are told in the mosque.

Here in the south, most people are busy with work, business etc and are less concerned about elections. With all the awareness created even in churches in the south, those who got their PVC still was not much. Even 40% of those that got it did not go out to vote.

4)Restructuring

This is a message that is not tolerated in the North. Buhari never spoke about it, even though it was the first thing in the APC manifesto to deceive southern voters. Majority of the people in the North, don't know what restructuring is , they have been told it's something bad for them.

So for Atiku be going about saying he will restructure Nigeria, was scaring the North. They felt, since he has been associating with the south they will soon deceive him to.restructure and cut their supply. So they don't see Atiku as one who will represent them based on religion, politics and economy .
His message is anti-north.

Sure. You voted because of chicken. Majority of Nigerians in the south, need more than chicken.
PoliticsFeeling Of Sadness In The Air. by mekaboy(op): 12:58am On Feb 26, 2019
Nigerians are not happy with the outcome of this elections, They are tired of buhari. They funny thing is that even those from the south that collected money and voted buhari are praying he does not win. They are scared of their future beyond the peanuts they collected.

They are now facing the reality of another 4 years of suffering.

For the Yoruba's that put national interest above regional interest and voted Atiku, I salute you. Wether Atiku wins or not, you stood for the nation. You are truly patriotic.

Those that voted Buhari were hoping for presidency, either something happens to him and Osibanjo takes over or they produce president in 2023.

PoliticsRe: Don't Vote Buhari If You Are Single/dating. by mekaboy(op): 10:34pm On Feb 22, 2019
I hope those of you from the south doing 4+4 understand that what it takes an average northerner to get married is different from what it takes in the shout. He can spend close to nothing to marry 3 women. At some point, the government can even sponsor mass wedding. Do you have government sponsored mass wedding in the south? Even if there is, will the average southern family want to Gove out their daughter for a mass wedding?
PoliticsTrust Me, You Don't Want To See Next Level by mekaboy(op): 10:31pm On Feb 22, 2019
Most of you shouting Next Level, if you know what's involved you won't want to see it

This won't be about blaming PDP, you will see the Nepotism and Incompetence in full display.

All the borrowing done so far, there will be more strict conditions attached to the next level borrowing. This will make the government borrow part from outside and increase taxes and utilities to get the rest.
You the common man will be at the receiving end.

There are some crazy ideas that the cabal running this country are nursing, but they decided to hold on till they win the elections.

The level of looting and damage that will be done in the Next 4 years, No southern president can fix it even in 16 years.

A cabal driven government will rather the country burns to ashes, than leave power. They are power driven and not people driven.

Next level of a cabal driven government, is not what any right thinking Nigerian will want to experience. A lot of damage can be done in 4 years, and all they will say is wait for your turn.

PoliticsRe: Why I Am Supporting Atiku by mekaboy(op): 12:21pm On Feb 22, 2019
For every 1 naira APC spends For campaign, they have areas they will increase with 100 naira to recover that after elections.
PoliticsWhy I Am Supporting Atiku by mekaboy(op): 11:51am On Feb 22, 2019
1) Fighting corruption: whether we like it or not, Nigerian economy has been run for ages with looted funds. From cars branded for campaigns to luxury cars bought by politicians to clothes and accessories bought by runs girls etc. The moment the corrupt funds are withheld the economy starts to shrink, poverty and crime increases. So should we vote for Atiku to encourage looting? The answer is NO. How will Atiku/ Obi fight corruption?
They will block the loopholes, show those with looted funds where to invest to create employment and make profit from their loot. Looting is still on going, and the loot from the past is saved in banks within and outside Nigeria, rather than being invested to create jobs in Nigeria. They join APC, freeze the looted funds and pretend to be saints.

Do you think Ganduje took the dollars in cash because he wanted to invest? No, it would be easy for the money to be sent outside the country.

2) Open market: You won't have to kiss the Ass of the cabal in the Night like Aisha buhari said to break even. The monopoly in the oil and Gas and other sectors will be broken. Individuals will see opportunities in these areas, invest and create employment.

3) Increased funding for startups: Atiku obi believe that startups are not given enough funding and the conditions for the loans are not friendly. Rather than sharing 10k campaign funds that go into the toilet, better funding for startups to grow and create employment is better.

4) Tax reduction as an incentive : A government that lacks the ability to create real Jobs and wealth have 2 major ideas of increased revenue. The first is increased borrowing, the second is increased taxes . A business minded government of Atiku will reduce taxes to attract investors and help local businesses grow. Someone will say if the taxes are reduced, where will funding come for infrastructure etc. Well, that's the beauty of a private sector driven economy. Those challenges we face in infrastructure, power etc, are all investment opportunities for the private sector.

Is anyone still talking about NITEL today when it comes to communication? The private sector has taken over the industry and various options abound. The same will be replicated in all other sectors.

What is happening now is that, the cabal is positioning themselves with different companies to take ownership of all major sectors to make Nigerians perpetual slaves to them.
There are a lot of investment opportunities in Nigeria, but the cabal ensures that these areas are no go areas for Nigerians. ATIKU/ Obi will open the investment window and together every Nigerian will find an opportunity to invest, make profit and have a stake in this Nation. Local content will be prioritized.

Education: this is the key to development and Atiku is passionate about it.

Unity: No matter your development plan, if the people are not United, it won't work.

If you believe it's better for you to plug your productivity in the right sector and make profit than sit back and collect 30k for the rest of your life as employment, then Atiku/Obi is the right choice.

Maybe you have been given a second chance to read this and make the right choice by the postponement of the elections. A lot can go wrong in 4 years.
