All non-EU students, who apply to the Universities in South Cyprus, require a visa to enter Cyprus. Provided that all the required documents and payments have been received, the University will submit the student’s documents to the Migration Authorities and Ministry of Education for further approval. Once the visa application is approved, the visa will be issued in Cyprus and the student will be informed accordingly. A copy of the visa will be sent to the student as this will be required for the student to travel. The visa fee cost 80-150 euro depends on the university processing it.

To apply for the visa, email the university there or call them, the step to take will be given FREELY to use and they will initiate the visa process for you.

Here are the general documents required for South Cyprus Student Visa:

1. Student Visa Fee (visa application will not be processed without this non-refundable fee)
2. Original attested copy of High School Leaving Certificate and transcript
3. Original attested passport copy
4. Original attested Police Clearance Certificate (6 months validity period)
5. Original attested bank letter (6 months validity period) stating that the student’s sponsor has the financial ability to support his/her living, tuition and repatriation expenses. Sponsor may only be Father/Mother/ Self. In case of another Sponsor, please supply a Court Affidavit. The letter must also clearly state the relationship between Sponsor and student
6. Original attested bank statement (1-month validity) which clearly shows the minimum amount of €7,000 in the sponsor’s account
7. Original attested blood test results for HIV, Syphilis, Hepatitis B and C (4 months validity)
8. Original attested chest X-ray report for Tuberculosis (4 months validity)

I just got admitted to a Bachelor program in South Cyprus. The admission was almost free and now im on visa level. The agent that helped me secure the admission is telling me to give him 400k for him to help me secure the visa or i should do it myself. This is the 5th week of my application, i haven't heard anything from the embassy. My first application, i gave my biometrics on 14th Nov.

My people my people.... Today completes it the 4th week i gave my biometrics at the vfs. Nothing from the embassy yet...

The needed English proficiency test would be displayed in your CAS from the school to the Embassy . So only whatever the school asked form you while you were applying would be asked for during ths document submission.
This could be either your Waec result or Ietls or Toefl
But most universities in the UK are comfortable with just a Waec result (credit in English) especially for master students

Thanks... That means the Embassy doesn't require English proficiency for visa unless the school needs it.

@wip7 I have a bsc in marketing with cgpa of 3.45. Can I get a masters program that has a partway with US Canada or Australia. I will start my first year in Turkey or Southern Cyprus (not Northern Cyprus) and complete the second year in this mentioned countries.

Abeg my people o. I never collect my original waec. I been go my school last month make go collect the stuff but the greedy principal charged me 19k, almost the amount of visa fee, chai I leave am run. Abeg I wan know if the embassy go collect statement of result with scratch card since everything dey online.

For Bsc, I hold transcript but original cert never ready, my school lazy like that pig wey predict Nigeria's quarter final... na statement too I carry.
