God bless you for this post!
Jackeeh:
hmmmmmmm reading through comments uploaded before mine I can't help but wonder: everyone now feel cheating is cool. Men are polygamous in nature, condoms might be used for other reasons( like fetching water), quit snooping around,we are mortals, it must have been used by his friend, don't get him angry when confronting him etc. Why can't men and women strive to be faithful to their partners and quit justifying their evil acts? Being faithful is not impossible. it may be difficult but its attainable. And should you slip and cheat, please don't be smart about it. being defensive and cooking up reasons for cheating ain't cool. when you cheat on your partner, you destroy him or her. if you are caught and instead of being sorry, u feel on top of the world, you reduce your partner to nothing. cheating isn't cool in anyway. be with a partner who makes ur heart beat fast each time u set eyes on him or her. don't settle for less, or money, sex, good looks etc

I found myself in such situation some years back when I worked with an insurance coy . here in Lag. I had a test with Schlumberger in PH. I had to lie that I was ill, did a night bus trip(wouldn't try that again), did the interview. Headed back to Lag(i missed work for 2 days), one tatafo in my office, walked up to me, showed me a list of names published in Guardian newspaper for the schlumberger test with my name on the list. Told me that she reported me to the Human resources mgr and my attention was needed. Of course I still maintained my illness lie o. The mgr now insisted that I bring a sick report first thing in the morning the next day. As soon as I stepped out of her office, I called my doctor friend to prepare one for me. That's how I got out of the gbege.

My dear, everyone has a different body structure. Everyone can't be same size. There's nothing wrong in being full figured. Some men love their gals that way. Omotola cannot be referred to as slim. She's moderate and rbr that she started bearing kids in her teenage yrs plus the star stuff. Annie Idibia to me is naturally slim. Kaffy? The babe is a professional dancer. Where will fat come from? Aside all these, it cost a lot of money to look great. If we ask una for money now, e go be quarell like the topic that caused wahala 2 days ago on this forum: why men leave their responsibilities to women once they know she has money.

Story for the gods....
damola1:
Oh dear, I am not hear to fight with you, it's your wahala. I am only stating it the way I see it.

10 good years, and you think it's OK, to continue to be greedy?... You keep all your money, and make him wear out, he pushes for you to support at home, you came after him with the 'men do crap in your village story', you should have marry someone from your village then.

You are sowing a seed of distrust, and disconnect, which will eventually come back to hunt you. You've to LOVE. SUPPORT. LOVE and SUPPORT. If someone brings N10, you must endeavour to bring: N2-4. Thats how it's played, he shouldn't have to suffer for you or your kids a lone, he should live and enjoy is own life too. All this stress is telling on him, in ways you cannot imagine. Is it a crime for him to go on vacation and chill?..

People wonder why men die before women, it's because of years and years of been used and re used, and used, and re use. No love.

Anyway, wish you best of luck, just show love, thats all. I will smell a greedy woman 10 miles away, I have no time for greedy people. I will love you with all I am made of, and you will love me with all you're made of.

Nobody told me to buy a car, pay a driver, pay for a househelp, and even pay a salary to my babe when I needed to, and nobody told her to do the same back to me when she needed to, it's how the game is played. I will do it, over and over again!

O my dear, he earns twice what I earn. Pls read my post again, I support not take up his responsibilities. I hope you know when a man does all that, he earns respect from his wife. Even the bible says so. Just for you to know, it's been ten years since I started working. He tells me that he's not interested in what I earn. Women, we are good at hiding stuffs except we want the man to know. So go hug a transformer if it'll make you feel better! sad angry huh huh coolquote author=damola1 post=31034607]

This is why men do it, You are greedy!

How do you think your man will feel if he now finds out, you earn as much as he earns and yet he carries everything?... and don't say he won't find out, he'll, very soon in fact.

This sort of man will take advantage of the situation and squeeze it like never before, cos for years, you've been greedy. You are supposed to be empathetic to your loved ones. Why would you be in a relationship with someone you can't 'throway face ' for?...

Show love, thats all. Its all about love, nobody is weak.
Sometimes I blame the woman. No matter how rich she is, do not show it. Men love to be in charge and when you make them feel you can be in charge too, they "take a seat and watch". My dad did same too, my friends had same story to tell so I didn't let that happen to me. Till date, my hubby doesn't know how much I earn. He pays the rent, kids fees, repairs the cars, gives me food allowance and all I do is "support" eg. I go to the market with the money given to me and if I see anything else we might need at home, I use my money without even letting him know. If I see lovely toys or clothes for the kids, I buy them with my money. He tried to complain once, but I told him it's a taboo in my place for a woman to feed her family and take up a man's responsibilities grin. So he got used to it except of course, if he doesn't have a job( God forbid!) and I will definitely take over from where he stopped tongue. Quote author=CrazyMan post=30997557]A very good morning to you all, and I'm guessing you all had a great weekend.

I was with a female cousin of mine yesterday (married) and she was lamenting to me how her has husband has annoyingly stopped giving her money for the upkeep of the family.

She said she now has to hide her money from him most times cos whenever he discovers she has any, he distances himself from any form of financial responsibilities that concerns the family.

The reason when I inquired started fully when she handed over a cheque from her personal account to the caretaker in regards to their rent.

She said she and her husband had a discussion the night before, and he promised her that she would be reimbursed if she settles the rent, but changed suddenly when she paid the money.

Now that I've paid the rent, he doesn't drop a penny in the house she told me. She's the one practically shouldering all the financial responsibilities. Ranging from their kids expenses to kitchen expenses to house expenses which include NEPA bills, purchase of water for their geepee tank...etc.

According to her, she only has a rough idea of what her husband earns and very little idea of what he spends it on.

I know some men are irresponsible but this case supersedes irresponsibility. I prefer to tag the man an over grown baby. Someone who has refused to mature.

As a man I believe its your responsibility to provide for your family regardless of the kind of job your wife does. You wife is there for support and not for you to abandon your responsibilities for. Every man should always bear that in mind.

What do you guys thing?
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Nnpc Recruitment Interview by mekybabe1: 6:52pm On Feb 19, 2015
God bless you for not being selfish with this info though I wasn't invited for the interview.
jimngam:
Below is the post by @ Syenite in 2011

"Congrats to those that have received invitations. Over 4,000 candidates(can't remember the exact figure now) made it to the interview stage.

Firstly NNPC recruitment in based on quota system. Almost equal number of applicants will be taken from all the states and FCT. This implies that you are competing against people from your state. And this will in turn go down to LGA by LGA.So if you have a family member or a cousin in the race it means u are virtually fighting for one slot.
Under this system situations arises where a Candidate from State A with 50% score in the interview will be employed while a candidate from State B with 80% score might not be employed. So those of you from educationally developed states should brace up for the challenge.I am sure you know those states

What to equip yourself with:
When NNPC was established and under what decree
NNPC's Core Businesses
NNPC Subsidiaries and their operational functions
The Refineries and their various Refining capacities
Which of the NNPC subsidiaries u'll like to work with and why?
Why do you want to work with the NNPC.
Why do you want to work in the Oil industry
Why do you want to leave your former place of work(if you are already working)
Where do you hope to be in 10years time?
Understand your discipline and how you can apply it in the oil industry
Know the name of the current and immediate past GMD
Expect that you’ll be asked atleast one basic question about your discipline
Know where the head quarters of each of the Subsidiaries are located say Benin, Warri, Lagos etc.
Research the operations of the Subsidiaries so you’ll know which one you can fit in.(I am currently working with the subsidiary I mentioned during my interview so take your time to research, though it does not totally follow)

Look smart and composed. It’s usually a friendly interview and note that your line of discussion will mostly go in line with your responses so be sure of what to say. But please don’t be too confident else you’ll sound arrogant.

I’m speaking from experience. The above where questions asked me and some of my colleagues who I am working with now. So expect most of the questions to come from them.
Know that NNPC will not take everybody.
Best of God. I hope to meet you as colleagues soon."
